The pistol is able to turn off the flames in shots with a switch on the bottom of the barrel. Plasma flames can be useful to act as a flare gun, keeping the same amount of "gun" as the Jackal. When turned off, power is easily compared to a single shot from minigun. And of course, they're spiked up when immediately shot at the enemy.
Plasma inside the shells can power the fired rounds (8 rounds on a custom pistol) with blue flames as the shots are....well, fired.
They act as bullet shells, much like the Jackal's Macedonian shells.

A vampire's main weakness is that if the heart is destroyed, the vampire dies. Am I right? (Though it is VERY unlikely Alucard will die in the RP) Now I need to find a pic of a gun.
Besides the fact Legato's bullets might be upgrade to be as powerful as the Jackal (and I'd rather find a new pic of a gun so I can tweak it), I have found official art by Yasuhiro Nightow, creator of Trigun, showing Legato having razor-sharp nails. It was art from the manga that was shown in the artbook for the anime. The plan to give Legato these nails is for Knives to inject chemicals into Legato's body, allowing Legato to use and/or show these anytime.
Let me share my idea for an upgrade on Legato, then.
Before I tell you the issue, I must note that there is art I want to share. The issue is I'm getting anxious that my characters will be killed off by DBZ crap. DBZ characters fly, shoot fatal beams, tear through bodies at will with punches and kicks, and can destroy planets. I'm becoming a nervous wreck because I feel Myst is rubbing it in my face
You sure you don't care? I am hoping to give Legato and Knives more powerful ammunition, probably the same power as the Jackal, and I could have Knives give injections to alter the "patient's" powers, like giving them the ability to switch to using razor sharp nails and what not.
It seems that more evil and darker, the more will. The more will, the more power. Does anyone want me to upgrade?
No, DT, I am not. Legato just happens to be more evil than any DBZ character, in my opinion.
Upgrade or stay weak? I say I'd upgrade. Infact, Legato is my favorite villain of all time, because he is probably the most deliciously character I easily got used to.

Hold it........Alucard's Jackal's bullets can stop Anderson's regeneration AND tear through stone walls, why can't THEY work?
Most of the characters here have BULLETS! Think about it, Vash, Knives, Legato, Janus, Ashley, Wolfwood (haven't seen him in a while), etc. Is there any weakness susceptible to bullets, like hitting in the eye?
Fine. But the reason I brought this up is because if a DBZ character fights Alucard, the DBZ player will brag alot, saying that it is to tough for Hellsing. Is there a tone-down for DBZ characters in the outside world?
If a character breaks the rules of the RP, like a DBZ character, can I help assist in banning the character by killing him/her with Legato? Because I can't shake the feeling one of us is going to break the....y'know.
