A soft laugh left Namine's lips at the look in Roxas' eyes. He obviously didn't care that he was getting all wet. She smiled and pulled herself closer to him again, shutting her eyes in contentment.
It sure is! ;D I love it.
Namine leaned her head against his shoulder, then feeling the coolness of her hair pressed against her cheek. I'm getting him all wet, she realized. The knowledge of her hastiness made her withdraw a little bit, trying to keep Roxas from getting any more wet. "Sorry," she blushed as she looked up at him, embarrassed that she had just gotten him pretty wet.
Yeah. Dx This stinks!
Namine spun around, her back having been toward the doorway. Her eyes widened at the person that stood there, and for a moment, she thought that her heart may have stopped. But before she could dwell on that, she found herself running forward, wrapping her arms around Roxas immediately. "Roxas," she whispered, arms already wrapped tightly around him in an embrace.
Me neither. Dx
Namine set down her phone, the girl shivering at the coldness of the water that covered her. She wore jeans and a black coat with large buttons on the front, and though it was a thick coat, it still felt like the rain had gotten through. I gotta get changed, she realized blankly, shivering as she looked down at the floor.
Yeah, this is fun. xD
"Are you sure? I could be there in a few hours," Aunt Sue said. She lived at the other side of the state, but she could leave right away and drive and get there by midnight. "I'm sure," Namine assured her. "It's fine." This time, she said the words more to convince herself than her aunt. "But anyway, I have to go," she said, feeling the drenched clothes she wore become heavier. "I just got in from a heavy rain storm, I'm soaked." She a small laugh left her lips, the girl trying to get out of the serious conversation. "Alright dear, call me if you need anything. Love you." "Love you too, Aunt Sue," Namine said, a weak smile appearing on her lips. "Bye." She pulled the phone away from her ear and flipped it shut, a sigh leaving her lips as soon as she hung up. That was a very unpleasant conversation, but at least she got her aunt off her back. Sue probably did care, but Namine couldn't face her right now, since she was so pressuring.
Alrighty, awesome. =)
"Sweetie, nobody should have to be alone at Christmas. Let me come and see how you're really doing," Aunt Sue said over the phone. "It's fine," Namine insisted, setting her key on a table in the entrance hall. "I'm used to being alone." With her parents always away on business trips, she really was used to having a home to herself. Besides, she didn't want her aunt prying into her life, because as soon as she did, she would see Namine wasn't as fine as she was saying she was. Over the phone, the lies may have sounded convincing, but if anybody heard her in person, they would probably know the truth.
Okie dokie. I'm not sure how late I'll be up tonight, but I'll check in every once in a while. If not, I'll see you tomorrow. =)
Namine reached the front door and inserted her key in there, holding her cell phone to her ear by pressing it against her shoulder. Her aunt prattled on about how concerned she was about Namine, and how she didn't like her being alone at Christmas time. "I'm fine," she insisted to her aunt as she pushed her front door open. "Really, don't worry." She stepped inside, ignoring her drenched clothing as she pulled the key out of the doorknob. She then shut the door behind her and locked it.
Just what I'm having Namine do right now. And let's plan that Roxas and Namine don't really talk about anything too serious and they're just happy...
In a matter of minutes, Namine found herself nearing home, the rain still coming down as hard as it had been before. She looked up as she spoke on her cell phone, seeing the path to her house only a few yards away. She reached into her left jean pocket, shivering at the cold as she clumsily grabbed her key. Aunt Sue babbled on in her ear, saying things that didn't really capture Namine's attention.
xD It'll be more clear when the time for the arguement comes. Until then, just go with the reunion. ;3
Namine crossed the street, blond hair being matted to her head as she hurried home. She felt her cell phone vibrate in her pocket and she grabbed it, slowing her pace instinctively as she answered it. She saw the caller ID and she groaned; it was her aunt Sue. She was always over zealous about everything, and a big gossip. She had probably just heard about what had happened that made Namine's life more complicated last week. Despite that, she answered the phone anyway, saying a polite "hello" even though the rain was still pouring down on her.
Just a reunion. The argument does take place later, after Roxas meets Kai's bf.
Namine felt a drop of rain land on her nose, snapping her out of her thoughts. Before she could fully comprehend it, the rain started falling very hard, suddenly pouring down. "Oh!" she groaned softly, quickening her pace to a jog. She could already feel herself getting wetter and wetter each second, a feeling she hated.
Haha okay, allow me to explain. You'll find out where Ty is when Namine and Roxas talk about how Namine felt responsible for Kairi ending up with...
