Breathless- Taylor Swift
I'm pretty predictable myself, I think. Actually, maybe not. I'm the quiet one, so I always act differently than people expect me to when I...
Namine shut her eyes at the music, hearing the notes enter her ears. Already, she was struck by the beauty of the peace, and Roxas had just begun. She felt herself paying close attention to everything, as if the song could carry all her troubles away. It couldn't happen, and she knew that, but it was a desirable thought.
Same for me. ^^
You sorta are. xD
Namine felt her heart leap at the soft music, her eyes following the movement of Roxas' fingers on the keys. She knew right away that she had never heard him play this song before, and she felt privileged to be able to hear him perform it for her now.
True. xD Or should I say "touche"? I somehow figured you would pick that one. x3
Namine folded her hands in her lap and looked over slightly at Roxas' hands on the keys, seeing that he was about to play a song. She wasn't sure what he was thinking of; she had heard a few of his piano songs in the past, but he probably played some that she didn't know about.
It totally would. xD I'm so jealous of people who are talented with music or art, because I'm pretty bad with both of those. Okay, not as bad with...
Namine smiled softly, seeing the request in Roxas' eyes. She silently gave her approval by sliding over to the opposite edge of the bench, giving Roxas enough room to sit down and play the instrument.
*Sigh* I wish I was naturally gifted with music. It would make my life so much easier, since I'm obsessed with music these days and I always wanna...
Namine stopped her light movement when she felt Roxas squeeze her shoulder again, the girl taking it as a signal that she could stop now. She lifted her head and gazed up at Roxas, her sky blue eyes immediately finding his ocean blue orbs.
Mmm. Philip Wesley has to be my favorite pianist. I'm in love with his music. It's so simple and yet so moving.
Namine exhaled a soft breath and looked down at the bench she was on, though she continued the light stroking. Things were more peaceful, yes, but there was a certain sadness lingering in the air. She felt it was from her, because of all the emotions playing the song had unleashed.
Good choice. =) It's one of my favorites too.
Namine lightly ran her thumb over his fingers, silent as she performed the gentle rubbing. She couldn't say why for sure she was doing what she was doing, but it felt natural, so she continued. It had felt like things hadn't been flowing naturally earlier, and she felt better now that things were more peaceful.
I'll look it up. x3 I see the dilemma. xD
Namine smiled weakly, understanding what Roxas' nod meant. She looked down at his hand on her shoulder and her hand on top of it as she lightly ran a finger over his skin, her soft blue eyes following the motion.
I never get sick of listening to the piano version of that one. xD It's so pretty somehow. Just got done listening to "Not Alone." That's a good...
Namine waited until the moistness in her eyes disappeared before she opened her eyes, her gaze landing on the piano keys in front of her. After a moment, though, she turned her head and gazed up at Roxas, feeling that he had been watching her for a while.
