She felt Nat just cry in her arms. She held her tighter. "Of course you can stay here. We're friends. You're not imposing. We would love to have you here Nat." Estelle smiled. ​

"We care about you Nat." She said. "You should first call your sister that you're going to stay with us for a while, and then go get your things and come back here." Estelle told her. ​

"If Alex comes I'll explain to him Ok?" Estelle told her, still holding her in a hug. ​

"What are we all out here for? I have to get back to work Estelle." A bitter Vega said as the family gathered in the living room.​

"I'm calling you all in here because a friend of mine is going to stay here for a couple of days." She explained to all 3 of her sisters. ​

"Estelle I am busy running the shop and all you're doing is having friends over and sitting around all day." Vega said. ​

"Look, I know you guys are tired, it's been a very very long holiday, and we're all busy doing things for school, but can we please try and get organized?" She told them. "Ok, so, remember, don't ask many questions, she probably is going to be very quiet for the most part, try not to be too loud, too annoying. That means you Vega. As for you guys, just remember we do have a guest over and try not to complain about working a little extra at the shop, since I won't be." Estelle told them. ​

"I think it will be so nice to have her here." Stella said quietly. They all nodded, and went back to doing their things. ​

"Here, let me help you with that." Estelle said, carrying one of Nat's bags to her room. "It's not much, but it's home."She said, putting her bag down by the bed and sitting on it, motioning for her to sit beside her. ​

"I'm glad you decided to stay with us... I would be so worried about you." Estelle said, looking out one of the windows. ​

Message: Sure, I'm at the park right now if you want to meet up.​

Seraphina was looking through a book when she felt her phone beep. She looked at her text and she smiled, heading out the door. She called her driver to take her and she headed off. She walked through the winter snow, in her shawl. ​

She was blushing so much she felt too warm for a bigger coat. "Hey." She smiled, sitting close to him, so they're arms were touching. "I was so happy when I got your text" Seraphina told him.​

​

​

"I didn't realize that you had walked all the way to my house the other day. It's really dangerous to be walking that late at night, please, let one of my drivers take you home next time." She told him. "It's not trouble, and I would feel better about it then having you walk all the way, it's so cold out here on days like this." Seraphina said, but she wasn't cold at all. ​

She felt her heart's beat in her ears and she moved her hair from her face, she smiled at him again, feeling her face blush brighter. ​

"So, how are you?" She asked him. She thought about what she could say, what she was going to say. It seemed to be so hard to think of normal conversation. ​

​

"Oh, I forgot to ask, do you have any interests in Gaming Shane? I play a lot of Video Games, so we have a giant room full of... a lot of stuff, Computers, systems games you name it. My father, he works as a CEO for a lot of companies that made games, so he got some gifts of course. He's also working part time as an actor, and he also is making his own games on the side. He's very busy all the time I'm not sure how he gets so much done. Oh sorry, I'm rambling again..." ​

She said, blushing and then looking away. "It's just that, no one has ever let me talk for this long before. Normally, when we used to have bigger parties, my parents said I couldn't say anything unless an adult had talked to me, and even then I wasn't allowed to say very much." She told him laughing. ​

Estelle had put some tea on the kettle, and then joined Nat in the living room. "Nat... if you want to talk about it... I'm here... but if you want to just get your mind off things, I could talk about something else." Estelle asked, putting the tea on the table. ​

"Umm... well... erg... I'm sorry Nat, I don't know what to say, but I know how the loss... of a parent feels. I lost my dad when I was a kid, and it torn my family apart... but you just, you got to remember to stay strong. Even though it's so hard, it's so hard you have to." Estelle said, on the verge of tears. ​

"Strength of Heart, can help you through the hardest of trials. You have to keep fighting it, because you have friends that are here for you, we'll always be here for you." Estelle said, putting her arms around her in a hug. ​

​

​

"I'm sorry this had to happen, but just know that they're looking down on you, ok? And they don't want you to be sad, they want you to move on, and they want you to be happy. Trust me." Estelle said, still having her in a hug. ​

​

"If you want, you can stay with us for a while." Estelle told her. "If you just want to get away from home for a bit, you can stay here for as long as you want. You should also talk to Alex, tell him what happened, cause if anyone can help you I'm sure it's him." She said. ​

Seraphina woke up, rising out of her bed as the sunlight shone into the room, bouncing off of the chandelier and filling the room with Sparkles. She sat at the mirror and brushed out her hair. ​

​

She went to the dressing room to find something to wear. As she tossed outfits on the chair beside the dresser, she thought about last night again. Her Housekeeper had come in to help her with her hair. ​

​

​

She finally found a dress, and changed behind the screen. "Are you going out with that boy tonight?" Lily asked her. "I don't know." She said honestly. "Well, either way, you look stunning as always, Miss. Seraphina." ​

​

​

She said after she had her hair put up, and then left. Seraphina sat down in the room, alone for a few minutes and looked up at the ceiling. She grabbed her phone. ​

Hey Shane, I hope you got home alright last night. Would you like to go out and do something today? Your choice. ​

She sent off the text and went down in the bigger dining room. Going to eat breakfast. The staff seemed to see something had sparked yesterday night, and were hinting it every time they could. ​

​

​

​

The staff here had worked since her Mother was a child, she was born into a rich family. Of course this Mansion had changed a lot over the years, new things being added, taken down, modernized. ​

​

​

But some rooms still had the Medieval castle fell. Her Grandparents, who had passed away recently, told her there were many secrets in the house, passage ways and hidden puzzles. Her Great-Great-Grandfather loved things like that, secrets, so of course her own Grandfather had also, and his father. ​

​

​

This house was filled with discovered and undiscovered places, they had left a journal in the library, but she hadn't found it. She would look around in her spare time, but she had spent most of her time at the house in France, until now, she had until come here a few times month on the weekends. ​

It would be interesting to find some places where the staff didn't know about, although some worked here since they could start working. The staff had their own legacy here. ​

She wondered if maybe any of them knew. But it would be nice to find somewhere, where she could just be alone, even more so now that she wanted to be with Shane without any of them around. She wondered about the passages, and then made her way to the Library. ​

Estelle woke up with her alarm clock blaring. She hit it, and then running around her room, showering quickly, finding an outfit to work in and putting her hair up in a pony tail. ​

She ran down stairs, a piece of toast in one hand and her phone in the other. She sat down at the Cash Desk at the flower shop and took a deep breath. She texted Nat. ​

Way-to-go girl! Sooooo what did you guys talk about, I wanna know all the details. Come by if you have a chance! ​

She sent off the text and sat at the front desk. "You're late." Her sister said with a bitter tone. "I'm sorry, but my alarm wasn't set right." She told her. "If you want to go out Estelle you have to learn to be responsible." Vega said, leaving Estelle opened mouthed. ​

​

She basically did everything around here how dare she?! She sighed, putting her elbows on the desk and then starting to fill out some order forms. ​

​

What a boring life. It would be more fun if she didn't have to work at all, just be some kind of Rich Brat that got everything done for her. ​

​

​

Not filling out order forms for Roses and other flower names she couldn't pronounce. ​

​

At least now she had something to look forward to, hanging out with Nat and maybe Alex. He looked a little bit too old for Nat. ​

​

Ah oh well, she would ask questions later. Ah, at least something kept her going on days like this. She sung to herself as she filled out her forms.​

Estelle smiled. "My work here is done." She said to herself, then winking at Nat and passing through the door. She went back to her house where she texted her friend.​

She sent off her text, still laughing about how loud Alex had confessed to Nat.

She felt like a really really awesome friend for finally bring them together. How awesome what this? She lied down on the couch, thinking she could get in a few episodes of her favorite show before bed, but of course, her sister came into the room. ​

"Where have you been all day?" Vega asked angered, coming from the downstairs of the flower shop, covered in dirt. "I've been out with my friends." She said. "Oh ya, right where were you really?" Vega laughed.​

"I'm telling the truth, I was at the cafe with Alex and Nat but then I ended up making a couple out of them so I came here to leave them alone." She said. Her sister looked shock. "Well, you could've at least said something first, leaving me to work all day."​

Estelle laughed as she stomped out of the door, slamming her bedroom door. Estelle went up to her own room and lied down, fiddling her hair and looking out the window. She was glad to have friends like Nat and Alex. ​

​

Things were finally starting to change. She was thinking about how much fun her and her friends would have on the break, if they weren't doing couple stuff all the time. She laughed. As long as Nat was happy, she didn't really mind being left behind once and a while. With that thought, she fell asleep. ​

Seraphina smiled. That went according to plan she was pretty happy with herself. She put her hand on his. "It's getting late, you should really get home, I'm sure your parents are worried about you." She said. ​

"I'll make sure to text you tomorrow, but you're welcome to drop by any time you like." She said, as she took him to the front foyer. "Goodnight."​

After Shane had left, Seraphina went to her Bedroom. The other one she slept in the night before, was her room for when guest come over to stay the night, so they're all on the same floor. This room was on the 4rd floor, it was also designed specifically for her, having a medieval castle theme. ​

After brushing out her hair, she lied down on her bed, and took a deep breath. She was so glad that was over with. It was had been stressing her out all morning, when the right time to ask was and then what to say. ​

​

She had never been rejected before, she didn't think she could handle it, it would just put her brain in overload and she would faint from the shock. Lucky that didn't happen. ​

​

She danced around her room, skipping and jumping and twirling until she plopped on her bed. ​

​

​

Now she could just sleep, and hope that tomorrow would be an easy day. ​

​

She wondered if he had just said yes because he was in her house, or because he really meant it. It seemed genuine to her. He seemed like an honest guy, someone she could trust if she ever needed anything. He didn't always say very much, but he was always so nice. She hoped this would last. ​

​

She took another deep breath, and then lied down in her bed, after her mind stopped wondering she fell asleep peacefully. ​

"Uh...no." ​

"Oh... I see." She said. She could see the faint blush on his face, and she started to get one herself. ​

'Well you want to ask if out don't you? So just do it. You have never gotten like this before what gives Seraphina?' She thought to herself. ​

'This is different though I don't want to scare him off, I had the whole school doing my will back in France if I did get rejected, which I never did first of all, there would be a bunch of other boys, and I wouldn't lose any friends because I basically had unlimited supply. But this is different he's standing right there and he's the only person I got right now I don't want to mess things up.' She argued. ​

'What do you got to lose? Come on you have to at least try, you'll find someone else if he says no, big deal.' She thought. 'But I DO have a lot to lose this time.' She told herself. Fighting with herself was getting her nowhere. ​

"I know we kind of are still getting to know each other... and... um..." She took another breath. "I just, already am starting to like you, a lot." She told him. "Do you think... that maybe we could go out sometime?" She asked, making sure to keep eye contact. That had to be one of the hardest things she's ever had to say. She took a deep breath. She just needed to trust herself with stuff like this. ​

Estelle smiled. It looked like maybe Alex liked Nat. She felt content with herself. She looked over at Nat who looked a bit unsteady. As she down, he elbowed Alex slightly. "Say something to her..." She whispered to him. "If you like her, this is your chance, to tell her. I'm going to get a Hot chocolate, so when I go, say something." She told him. ​

"Oh Hey Nat I'm just going to go get a Hot Chocolate ok? I'll be right back." She said getting up from the table. ​

She looked at Nat, She mouthed to her "Don't leave. Say Something." And then she walked to the counter, and watched them from a far. She waited for her Hot chocolate. ​

"Come on Nat, you can do this. Come on Alex say something to her. Please." She hoped, as she watched the 2. ​

Far enough to not look like she was paying attention to the conversation, but close enough to faintly hear them over the busyness of the Cafe. "Don't mess it up guys. You have 1 job, 1 freaking job. You can do this." ​

Seraphina listened to him play. She couldn't help but smile. He played so beautifully. Emotion seemed to take over her, it was so nice, but then, it sounded so sad at the same time. After he finished she smiled. "That was beautiful Shane." She said to him, with a small smile. "You're very talented." She told him. ​

"Shane...?" She asked him. "Umm... do you have a girlfriend?" She asked him, moving her hair out of her face and then sitting a bit closer to him. She had no idea why she said that. It was the first thing that came into her mind. ​

​

How stupid not to act without thinking. She felt her face blush and did a mental facepalm. Out of all the questions she had to pick that one. She normally didn't do that, but she didn't know how to make very good small talk to begin with.. "Erg....Um... what I mean is..." ​

She sighed. "No, that is what I mean, I'm sorry... I'm not very good at making conversation."​

Sunshine was coming through the windows of the Music room, dancing on her hair and filling the room with sparkles because of the gold and chandeliers on the ceiling. The curtains blew slightly in the wind, cooling down the blush on her face.​

Estelle smiled at him. "Hey Alex." She said, motioning for him to sit down. "Nat will be back in a sec." She told him. "Ummm... Alex." She twiddled her thumbs. ​

"Well... um...." She started. "You know, Nat really likes you... and stuff... but she's just like... really really shy... and she thinks you're the sweetest and most thoughtful guy she knows." She explained.​

"Umm... Well..." She sighed. ​

"What I'm trying to say is, Nat really likes you, like... she has a really big crush on you. And I reason I brought you over here is, that I wanted to ask if you are interested in her. She doesn't know, about any of this. So even if you like, don't have any feelings for her, don't ignore her or something like that cause trust me she's waaaay to shy to even think about saying anything to you."​

Estelle explained. "Sorry to be so blunt about it, but I really couldn't watch her just stand there and do nothing so I did it for her." Estelle took a deep breath.​

"She's a really sweet girl, and if I were you, I would feel very very lucky." Estelle told him, still smiling kindly. ​

"Uh sure, that'd be fine."​

Seraphina smiled. "Ok, follow me." She said, going back into the front foyer. She looked around for a minute. "Hmm..." She sighed. "Oh yes. Right this way." She said, going up the stair case on the left. ​

She turned the corner and went down at the very very end of the hall. She opened the door gently, opening to a grand room filled with instruments of all different kinds, but in a grand space of it's own, a beautiful Piano. It was her own personal Music room ​

She turned around and smiled at him playfully. "This is the Music Room. Normally for my own personal use." She told him, walking up the small steps onto the platform where the Piano was. ​

​

"If you come over unexpectedly, and you're welcome to do so, You can always find me in here, or in my room." She explained. She sat down and motioned for him to sit closely beside her. ​

​

"See... there's something about this room. But I am never able to enjoy myself without someone else here listening, and I've only imagine what it would be like to hear someone else play, or play along side them. What good is a room that fills the heart with such lovely melodies.. if it can only be experience by 1, and not shared with 2." She looked at him. ​

​

"That's why I was so excited to hear you could play, because I wanted someone to share this room with." She told him. "Sorry... I've rambled enough." She laughed. "Whatever you're ready." ​

Estelle started to laugh a little bit, then a lot. Until she broke out into full laughter. "Oh my gosh you should've saw the look on your face." She said through laughing. "Why didn't you just tell me you were interested in him." ​

She said laughing. "Nothing gets pasted me, your reaction was hilarious though." She laughed. She didn't even wait for her to respond, she went right to her phone. "Tell you what, I'll ask him to hang out, and do you a few favors ok?" She said.​

She sent the text. "Trust me, I've got this." She winked. "You might want to drink something cold before he comes though, cause your face is soooo red." She laughed. "Awww you guys would be such a cute couple." ​

Seraphina smiled and brought him into the Dining room. She sat down, motioning for him to sit across for her. As she looked at the breakfast on her plate. She made sure she didn't talk while she had food in her mouth. ​

"I'm very glad you decided to stay with us last night. It's very exciting to have someone over. Since most of the staff here have only be to serve during the day. My parents and sister are out of town." She explained. "They will be very pleased to know that you've been so nice to me these past few days." She smiled. "I'm very glad also." She smiled. ​

"No one has been very nice to me, since I've gotten here. So I was very happy when you agreed to come over... Well... I hope we can do it again sometime. You're unlike anyone I've met so far." She explained. ​

"Umm... I was thinking that after Breakfast, that maybe I could show you the music room. You did say you knew how to play, I would love it if I could hear something." She told him. After she was finished, she would wait until he did also. ​

"Anyway, about me and Alex... Not much to tell really. We met at Camp 2 years ago, and found each other again before the Christmas play. He's honestly the sweetest and most thoughtful guy I know."

She was so happy she had gone out with Nat today. Now she could totally grill her about Alex. Her plan to do that of course, was a tiny bit... sneaky. But it would get to her admit that she did like him, and then she could help her. ​

​

She took the direct approach last time and got no where. Now she had to try to go for something else instead. She couldn't wait to see the look on her face. She laughed to herself. It was all in good fun. ​

​

"Is that so? He seemed like a pretty cool guy to me. It's nice that you've known each other for a long time." She said. Now, it was time. ​

​

Estelle nodded her head, trying to hide a smirk. "Soooo are you interested in him?" She asked, "It seems like you are, because of how you talk about him." She said to her. "But since you INSIST you aren't..." She looked her straight in the eye. "Is it ok if, I ask him out?" She said, keeping her face as serious as possible. ​

​

Of course she wasn't serious, but it was a good plan. If she did like him, she would get a bit jealous and say so. Even if she would try to hide it, she would still be a bit upset. ​

​

This is what she learned from years of serving her sister's friends when they came over. But that was a long time ago. Oh she was so mean. She couldn't even start to imagine what Nat was thinking. She tried to keep her laughter contained. ​
