    DAY 3 3/4DATE JUNE 17THLOCATION ISLAND INN / ROOM
    MOOD WORN❤!! NOTHINGWEARING
    OOC . . .

    . . . .

The sudden water all over her after the dive had been unpleasant, unplanned, and a little nerve wracking. Sophie had never had a fondness of boats, but it was sure a convenient thing that she had an affinity for swimming.

It was a pleasant surprise that Quentin was able to swim as well, like the rest who were dipped in the too-cold water. How that the boat . . . flipped, anyway? Something like that wasn't just a spontaneous happening -- there was no way it could have been just an accident. In fact, Sophie didn't think she could have planned anything better herself.

Sophie scanned around to see who had and had not made it. Some of them were probably dead. What a surreal thought . . . She wasn't scared of death, maybe some of dying, but the concept of someone actually being dead was just . . . that. A concept. No one really died in Sophie's book. They all just moved on to a different plane of reality, maybe. Swimming around, Sophie found some of her luggage floating about and sighed, wondering if her blacklist had made it okay.

A strange squawking sound caught her attention, and things sort of just passed with the wind rippling over the water. When Sophie was next paying attention She was laying on the deck of the somewhat-cramped boat, relishing the feel of the warm sun drying her sopped body and clothing.

The refuge they had come to was really . . . something. Fairly nice, Sophie had to admit, and the help was much appreciated. When they got into the car, Sophie stopped paying attention again. After some long time of not paying attention, they arrived at a welcoming-looking inn that she smiled at, despite being a little cold still. Some of the others went to the clinic, but Sophie felt . . . relatively okay. Her only aftermath injury would probably be some bruises and her shoulders would be really sore from hanging on to that railing . . .

The woman, Cane, was . . . okay. After the girl grumbled about something, they were given room keys. Truth be told, Sophie didn't trust any of these people -- for all she knew, they were psychopaths. And it hadn't escaped her notice that there weren't many others around besides the group that had come. Everything around her screamed red alert, but she moved on and settled in the room she was given.

Everything about the room screamed some sort of 'DANGER, BE WARY!' but she settled her things down and stripped, then wrapping a towel around her frame and falling on the bed, taking a breather. Her stomach grumbled and she sighed. She was hungry, but that meant she would have to get dressed. Of course, she could just go down stairs with a towel.

The only that could have been worse would be if there were an oil leak and the sea caught fire. Quentin's expression was bitter as he sat at the inn. It had been a long boat and car ride, especially since he waited for Sophie. He would never have forgiven himself himself if he had left either of his girls behind. The entire boat had been totaled, semingly without cause, and no officials had showed up. Instead, it took multiple trips by a single private owner to get them all to safety. Well . . . Everyone I care about.

The car and boat ride to the place had been long. Quentin grew suspicious as no officials showed up even after everyone was accounted for. Watching Sophie was the only thing that kept him from getting stir crazy. She kept him focused. He started noticing her penchant for jewelry and wondered where it came from.

When they got there, the rescued were split up--injured to the clinic, uninjured to the inn. He and Sophie were sent to the former. A girl named Cane gave them their keys. Noëlle was there. He was glad to see her alive, so glad he almost forgot who he was with. He gave Sophie a once-over and asked her, "Are you alright?"

"A little worse for the wear, but I'm alive." She seemed genuine.

"Good. I'll be back." He went over to the pink-haired girl and examined her up and down like worried parent. She wasn't visibly hurt, but she looked miserable. He sighed with relief, but enquired to make sure. "Are you okay? I was worried . . ."

For her father's sake, she remains calm and a little secluded from others so that she doesn't flip on them. Hay Sun isn't known for her understanding nature, either, because there'll be none of that shit going on while she's living in that body. DAY 5 1/4DATE JUNE 19THLOCATION TRAIN STATION
    MOOD IRRITABLE❤!! NOTHINGWEARING
    OOC . . .

It seemed that they weren't moving very fast, so Sophie slowed down and looked around. Quentin, it seemed, was tagging along with her. How cute. She wasn't in the mood, though.

"We could make our third risky escape. What do you think will happen this time?" he asked her and she gave a short, tired laugh.

"If we go out, we might get eaten by something. If we stay here, someone might find us and kill us." she explained tiredly, "Either way, I do think we're a bit screwed. I'd like some rest, so staying here in the station is preferable, to me."

"Alright, before we do anything, let's check out our options first." Sophie looked around in the dark to find the looming figure of Sir Dashing Patch talking. "The situation isn't the greatest . . . No transportation, nor food or water. It's dark, and yadda yadda stuff, you guys already have figured it out."

At least he was keeping her amused.

She listened to him speak while setting her things on the ground and rubbing at her wrist. It was starting to hurt again. Hopefully the dull ache wouldn't turn into something worse.

Splitting up? Not like she cared where the others went. She was tired, and wanted rest, otherwise these others would regret it.

"I would like to stay," said one of the other girls.

"I'm with the moon goddess," Sophie said with a bit of sarcasm, and then she looked at Quentin, "What are you going to do?" she asked him.

"Follow you, I suppose. What else is there to do?"

"Aren't you just adorable." she said, a little snide, but still tired.

"If it helps, I'd like to stay, too." Bryan called from the payphone.

"La-di-da for you, darling," she called back. "Everyone else?" She honestly didn't care what they did.

Quentin had stopped teasing the boy when he saw he was aroused. Quentin was surprised when Sophie did as well. He didn't know what to think of Richie. The boy was obviously hot for him, which was a first for him. He didn't mind, but it wasn't requited. At least I got some fun with Sophie out of it.

He was lost, but Quentin was uninterested in the events of the moment. They had dodged a bullet and both of his girls were safe, and that was enough for him. Noëlle was still hugging that counselor. Curse his bones. He still had not gotten to talk to her and was saddened by it.

Sophie seemed okay, if miffed about walking. She's more playful than I first thought. I wonder what it takes to get her out of sorts? He tried to think of a prank to pull on her, but all he could think of was Cupid's Brew. That would kill two birds with one stone. It's all I have on me . . . he observed with a frown.

He stayed close to Sophie and heard her mumble about taking the truck. Too late now. She still had bags, at least. Quentin could tell she knew what she was doing, or thought she did. He caught up to her and whispered, "We make our third risky escape. What do you think will happen this time?"

    DAY 51/4DATEJUNE 19THLOCATIONTRAIN STATION
    MOODWARY❤??NOTHINGOOC. . .

As far as Bryan knew, it was probably already past midnight. He honestly couldn't believe the train conductor didn't take them back! They were just a bunch of young people, what were they supposed to do? But Bryan didn't panic. They pretty much had the situation under control . . . for the most part. He was glad that there was someone who was good at reading maps, because he wasn't. Bryan wouldn't admit it, but he kind of got lost in his own backyard!

The train station was pretty creepy, and Bryan didn't want to stay longer than he had to, but since the others were there, there wasn't much to worry about. He couldn't believe their crappy luck! He was still pretty weighed down by . . . by the stuff Noëlle told him earlier that day, but the both of them had kept mum about it and he was glad that his sister was looking better by leaps and bounds.

He remembered that Elisa tried to talk to him earlier, but things started happening and there was no time for conversation at the moment. He wanted to go talk to her now, but she looked a bit stressed out by the situation.

Before he started to walk, Noëlle appeared, taking a deep breath in front of him. He frowned. "I . . . I don't know if we should go. Do you think we could find a way to call mom. I don't know, it just . . . I guess I'm scared. What do you think?"

Bryan patted his sister's shoulder and smiled at her in the dark. He hadn't even thought about mom. She of was probably worried sick! He kind of felt bad for not contacting her before, but there wasn't much to do about that now.

He looked around in the dark, walking up to the station quickly, and finding a payphone. Crap, did he have any change on him? Bryan patted himself down until he reached his back pockets. Aha! Three quarters. He pulled one out and slipped it into the slot, dialing up his mom's cell number.

    After a few long moments, ". . . Hello?" came a woman's hesitant voice.

"Mom?" Bryan asked, feeling a bit of relief and giving a thumbs up to Noëlle, "It's Bry - "

"Bryan, where are you?! Is Noëlle okay?! Are you okay?!"

"M - Mom, mom, calm down!" he said in a hurry, "We're fine. In a bit of a bad situation, though . . ." He scratched the back of his head and sighed.

"I know! First the fire at the camp, then the ferry sinking! I heard about it on the news, and I was afraid . . . Even your father . . ."

Bryan went solemn at the mention of dad, and looked at Noëlle, "Do you wanna talk to mom, sis?" he asked her, holding out the phone, "Don't. Mention. Dad." he whispered into the receiver before passing it on. He slipped a second quarter into the phone for good measure.

    DAY 5 1/4DATE JUNE 19THLOCATION TRAIN STATION
    MOOD IRRITABLE❤!! NOTHINGWEARING
    OOC . . .

After a strange series of events, the group of campers found themselves stranded and Sophie was not in a good mood. She would have fought the man, rather than apologized, would have taken the truck, rather than turned it down. Sure, the driver wasn't in a good state to drive, but that was an easily solved issue; knock out the man and drive themselves.

As a bonus, they could have left him on the side of the road and not gave any shits.

Unfortunately, none of what she would have done was the case and Sophie was feeling very grumpy.

"Sean . . . Are we gonna die?" Sophie looked out of the corner of her eye to see a small blonde girl standing next to Sean.

"Not you. Hero. remember?" he replied, and she looked at his face. She had to admit he was a decent physical specimen, but having never interacted with him, and hearing what a tool he was made her laugh.

"No one is going to die." Sophie's sharpened gaze fell on Erik. She was completely loathing him at the moment, but kept a neutral expression. "We're all going to be just fine. Things may look bleak right now, but I honestly think this is better than chancing it with another stranger and ending up somewhere else we shouldn't be, or worse."

"We could have just knocked the drunk out and taken his truck," Sophie said with an exasperated sigh.

As she listened to the conversation about the map, Sophie sat her bag down. She didn't mind walking, especially since the weather wasn't so bad at the moment, if a little cold. After shrugging on a coat, she walked over to the map a gauged the directions in her mind, committing them to memory. Out in a far open like this, they could get lost easily, but if they kept going the right way, they should be fine.

She shouldered one of her bags and began to walk into the night with the others. This was going to be a long night.

". . . I just find that so pointless. Pitying yourself for situations that you had no control of." Quentin nodded. The attitude sounded familiar, albeit a little too fatalistic for his liking. "I agree. It's better to know how to steer than to know where you're going." At that moment, he caught something out of the corner of his eye and looked up. Ah, Sophie. Great timing.

"You know, I'm not sure how well you'll be able to seduce Quentin here with your lollipops." She was talking to Richie. What a way to break the ice. He looked at her smirking face and back at Richie to see his reaction. He blushed and crossed his legs, not denying anything. Aha.

Richie addressed her shortly. "W-what's your n-name?" He was obviously trying to deflect attention from himself.

Sophie thought of things to reply with. She didn't really care for telling him her name, but it was a little silly not to. She was absolutely relishing that she had made the Richie squirm. "Sophie," she replied, "Nice to meet you, Richie."

Hmm, should I make him squirm a little more? It was too early for mercy, she thought, so . . . just a little more. "Quentin," she started with a genuine, sweet smile, "What do you think of Richie's lollipops?"

Quentin's smirk returned. He didn't see Sophie was prankster before, but it made sense. I'll play. "That depends. What part of him are you referring to?" He stared at Richie as he replied.

She was silently delighted that Quentin was going to play along for just a bit. Her face contorted into feigning horror, "The lollipops on his towel, of course!" she said, playing scandalous, "Gosh, Quentin, get your mind out of the gutter! Richie, isn't he just the worst?" She giggled.

A thought clicked in her mind and she leaned in to whisper something to Richie, "Between you and me, Quentin is really one of the most lewd homosexuals I've ever come across. Makes guys wanton." Knowing that Quentin didn't hear her, she slipped him a mischievous grin.

Quentin wanted to know what she told him. He leaned forward slightly, but she was too quiet. "Oh! Those. I didn't see them." He wasn't lying. He had been too focused on everything else to notice the pattern.

He decided to play a bit more. He spoke to Richie directly. "So, you want to seduce me?"

Sophie almost laughed at the forwardness of the question, and then leaned into whisper to Richie again, "Don't give in to him, he likes the chase. Play hard to get?"

The advice was completely bogus, but Sophie had to admit she was enjoying the hell out of this.

    DAY 4 3/4DATE JUNE 18THLOCATION TRAIN
    MOOD SIGH.❤!! NOTHINGWEARING
    OOC . . .

At one point or another, Sophie found that she really missed her music. She sat in a private cabin near the back of the train, but the only sound was the rumbling and growling of the train that moved along with speed. Trains and other vehicles were all dangerous; that thought only intensified after the ferry had sunk. She half-expected this thing to crash, with their recent luck.

Sophie sighed and stood, securing what was left of her luggage under the seat, and then leaving the cabin in search of amusement. She didn't have to look hard for it, that was for sure, because not long after she had left her cabin, she saw Quentin, and the boy Richie ( who was only wearing a towel around his waist and a pair of slippers ) talking to each other. What an unlikely pair, she thought to herself.

She decided to sit with them. She had never talked to Richie before, but this would be a fun first little bit. "You know," she began wholesomely, "I'm sure how well you'll be able to seduce Quentin here with your lollipops." She smiled, motioning to the little designs on his towel.

    DAY 43/4DATEJUNE 18THLOCATIONCABIN
    MOODSIGH❤??NOTHINGOOC. . .

The embrace was held for about as long as Bryan expected it, and he let Noëlle cry as much as she wanted to until she calmed down. In the situation, his shirt was the only victim, but he didn't mind so much.

He he had to admit, though, this was a pretty big secret, and she could get in some serious trouble for this if anyone ever found out -- but if it was just the two of them knowing, then there shouldn't be any worries. And who knew, maybe one day they would tell everyone, together. Bryan, of course, would take half of the fall because that was what big brothers did.

Bryan knew that this was turning out to be one heck of a summer.

The food cart was passing, and on sound, Noëlle pulled herself away from him, wearing a small smile on her face while sniffling. "Thank you," she said, "I'll be back, I want to see if there's a bathroom."

"Alright then," he said with a smile, "Go get yourself cleaned up." He watched her walk to the door, but she paused and seem to think about something. Was she going to cry again? Bryan prepared to comfort her. He didn't blame her for being so shaken up.

"My shirt is kind of . . . Ick, now, too." she explained after a long pause at the door, and then continued, "You don't have to stay. Richie really did want to talk to you." After shrugging and a smile, she left the cabin, and then Bryan leaned back into the cushioned chair.

He wondered why Richie wanted to talk to him or what about? Bryan didn't mind, and if the situation weren't so . . . What was the word for it? Stretched? Eh . . . He would go, but Noëlle was his top priority at the moment . . . besides changing his shirt. He reached for his bag and striped off the dark gray polo, trading it for a dark green v-neck, and then shoving the polo into his bag.

With a sigh, Bryan sat back down and leaned his head back, waiting for his sister to return. Richie could wait -- they hadn't been spending as much time together as he wanted anyway, and Noëlle looked like she could use the company.

"Richie, nice to meet you." Quentin didn't like the name, so he didn't really register it compared to the boy's face as he said it. He was definitely blushing and his voice was unstable, but that could have been the way he was dressed.

He wondered where Sophie was, and what Bryan and Noëlle were talking about. He still didn't know how close the two of them were. At least she was safe. He wasn't sure about Sophie since he had caught her at a bad time. Quentin was about to turn away to look down the hall when the boy spoke again.

"H-hey . . . um, you don't seem very . . . happy. Is something the matter . . . ?" Sigh. I should learn to hide my feelings. He tried to brighten his expression, but he was not sure how effective it was. "No, I'm just bored." That meant something was the matter to him, but others tended to disagree.

"You, on the other hand, seem untroubled despite our fortunes and state of dress. What has you in such high spirits?" The boy had even less than Quentin did, yet he was smiling. Maybe it was because he was attractive. Or it could have something to do with why he was so focused on me. In any case, he would find out.

    DAY 43/4DATEJUNE 18THLOCATIONCABIN
    MOODSTUNNED❤??NOTHINGOOC. . .

It always made Bryan feel good to think about his relationship with his sister because he knew it wasn't a typical one. That strange, ridiculous phase where siblings went though this 'I hate you for no reason' stage never happened to them, and he was pretty happy for that.

It was never really a worry his that they were closer than normal, even though there had been more than one person to say that they thought it was strange -- including their mom. Bryan couldn't do anything to change their minds, but ignore them and let it be. He loved Noëlle, she loved him , and they would always be there for each other just like a good brother and sister would.

He had never really thought about what would happen when they got older. Would they grow apart? That felt like a bit of a minor worry. Noëlle would eventually fall in love with someone, settle down and maybe have some kids . . . Then she might forget about him. But that was alright with Bryan -- really. As long as she was happy, he would be, too.

Still, he hadn't thought that far ahead, and he wondered if she hadn't either. It was a bit weird, thinking about growing up like that and leaving each other. She just seemed like . . . something that was always there.

She would always be okay on her own, without him. He was never too worried about her becoming dependent on him because she was a social butterfly, and he always thought she was good at making friends. Noëlle liked talking to people, and people liked her -- and at the end of the day, if they all left her, at least Bryan would be there still, right?

His green eyes peered up, looking at her face. She looked a bit feverish -- ack, she wasn't sick, was she?

"Mm . . . Well," she began with a soft voice, and the moving along of the train filled the brief void before she continued, "The other night, during the scavenger hunt, I . . . Well, Alice got sick. I offered to take her back to the camp circle, and . . ." For a small moment, Bryan was internally horrified that his sister might be confessing to killing Alice. He frowned and felt a little heavy when she trailed off.

"I took us to a clearing, to have a smoke . . . I dropped the match I was using and . . . Everyone went up in flames s - so quickly . . . ! I hadn't meant to, I swear. I just." Bryan tried to not externally bite his lip. ". . . I went to go tell Alice we had to go, but there was a bear and I ended up running and the fire . . ."

That was one of the people he hadn't seen on the ferry. Alice. He definitely would have recognized her because she was so pale and . . . a bit tall. The bear, he remembered hearing that frightening roar. It killed Alice, didn't it? Bryan didn't know which he was more horrified by, the fact that Noëlle had started the forest fire, or the fact that a bear showed up and killed Alice.

"I don't know what to do, now. I'm scared of everyone finding out. I'm scared of everyone blaming me. I'm scared of confronting Alice's family, and I -- I'm really afraid of what you'll think. I've been feeling so distant from you lately and I wanted to tell you the night it happened but we didn't share a room. I ju - just don't know what to do."

"I told you to stop smoking . . ." he mumbled, so stunned that he couldn't say anything else to her. He had to think. "Don't smoke again." he continued after a long moment's silence.

    "I need help . . . Please don't hate me, please. I know it's my fault I just . . ."

Eventually, Bryan registered that she was crying, and found that he couldn't be mad at her because of the series of unfortunate events. The bear . . . was not her fault. Just a bit of bad luck. But the fire. It was her fault. God. He didn't know what to do. He couldn't betray his sister, he couldn't say anything to anyone about it. It was an accident. He moved to the other bench to comfort her, pulling her into a tight hug and stroking her soft pink hair.

"Shh, everything will be alright . . ." he murmured gently, shoving out all stunned emotions. Still, Bryan wasn't sure what else he was supposed to tell her. "I don't hate you . . . You just got a bad bit of luck, y'know? It happens. You're not a bad person, you're not a killer. I'm sorry we've been distant. Guess that's mostly my fault. Just keep this between us, okay? You won't get in trouble. I won't tell anyone. Everything will be alright, mmkay?" He pulled back from the hug and wiped the tears from her face.

Bryan loved his sister, but this . . . this was a bit much. For once, he was at a loss for a solution.

I don't know you. "Quentin." He wanted to talk to Noëlle, but if this boy could distract him, he would welcome it.

The boy's demeanor was still friendly, his vibe cheerful. He was pretty, the type who could get what he wanted from women if he made an effort. The boy's clothes were . . . not there. He was wearing nothing but a towel. What have we here? Quentin smirked.

"Will you sit with me? You can leave later, if you'd like, but I think we should talk while we can." Yeah. While they could.

"'Course," he told her with a smile, not feeling any sense of awkwardness. She suddenly took his hand and led him into a cabin where they sat across from each other.

". . . Sorry. I know I was a little pushy, maybe, but . . ." The train had started moving before she continued. She looked a little fidgety and Bryan wondered why, ". . . Hear me out, okay?"

All of his big brother protective instinct alarms started going off at once, and he tensed up, worrying that something might be wrong with her that she was reluctant to tell him. He took a moment to relax and smoothed out his pants, "Sure, what's up? Is everything okay?" He just couldn't refrain from asking.

Quentin's clothes came back a while later. He had been getting very impatient with nothing to do. He had tried to get his MP3 player working to no avail, and had balanced his coins on the nightstand several times. He couldn't use his potion. He couldn't even leave without wearing something. I want my sketchpad. The arrival of the clothes was something. He got dressed in a huff and made his way downstairs, just in time to be told to leave with the others.

He threw his key toward the counter without breaking his stride. He had something to do. Finally. I have to catch Noëlle . . . and Sophie. He wasn't sure how he felt about travelling by train, but he figured it was just as safe as the boat. Hah, isn't saying much. Ah, well. I've survived two disasters already. He still felt silly about the whole thing. He ambled out the door and toward their exit strategy with a devil-may-care confidence.

He couldn't find Sophie, but he found Noëlle talking to the same counselor from that morning. He was happy to see that she had a cheerful expression on her face. I'm glad she's feeling better. I wonder if he told her . . . He smiled wide. She was adorable. He moved to approach them, but they stepped into a private cabin, stopping him in his tracks. Bu-but . . . His shoulders slumped in disappointment. Now what?

He took the seat nearest to him, across from an Aryan boy from Bryan's cabin. The boy looked friendly. Quentin managed a hello before going back to sulking.

    DAY 42/4DATEJUNE 18THLOCATIONCLINIC / TRAIN
    MOODCONCERNED❤??NOTHINGOOC. . .

Noëlle had kind of left him standing in the hallway, which didn't make Bryan feel the best, but he didn't really think he could do anything about that. All that was left was for him to follow Tucker to the clinic.

He walked out of the inn just in time to see Erik walking into the clinic and wondered why he was going there. "What happenened?" he heard Erik asked, and one of the physicians replied. Erik looked and maybe felt more worried than Bryan did. Bryan didn't know Maria that well, but maybe he did. He listened to the reply from the older man and looked anxiously towards the room Maria was in.

He sure hoped she was okay. Bryan didn't even know what was wrong with her to begin with, but he thought it couldn't have been anything good. He listened in on the conversation, taking a seat next to Tucker and was glad to hear that it wasn't anything serious. Oh . . . Amnesia? Right, right -- she didn't remember the ferry sinking.

Ack, a mild concussion . . . Bryan thought with a bit of worry, It wouldn't be very good for her to sleep, then?

Bryan stood on attention when the woman in the pink scrubs came, and next to her came Maria, looking mostly okay. Bryan sighed with relief. The nurse whispered something to her, and then she came to them.

After a bit of conversation, Bryan knew they had to hurry or they would miss the trolley and train. Cane seemed really happy to have them all out of her hair. Bryan split from the group, grabbed . . . Well, was left of his stuff, and then jet downstairs and to the trolley just in time for it to go. Some of the girls around him giggled at his slightly dramatic entrance, but he looked around for Noëlle, not haven't any real success finding her until they boarded the train.

"Noëlle," he called, worming his way through the crowd to get to her. He saw Richie talking to her and tried to get his attention too, but he ended up walking away before Bryan reached his sister."H - Hey," he began a bit breathless, "Sorry, got caught up at the clinic. Looks like Maria is gonna be alright!" he commented, "I didn't know you were friends with Richie -- he was in my cabin, y'know."

    DAY 4 2/4DATE JUNE 18THLOCATION TROLLEY
    MOOD AMUSED / ANNOYED❤!! NOTHINGWEARING
    OOC . . .

As Sophie barely paid mind to the others in the trolley, she came to realize that she was a bit disappointed they were leaving the island. Sure, it was definitely suspicious, but how interesting it was didn't escape her notice.

Hah, wouldn't it be something if the trolley had some sort of strange accident as well? She half-expected something like that to happen -- was that a bad thing? Perspective was a misunderstood concept in many ways.

Cane had seemed pleased to see them all go, which was a bit of a breather from the rest of the kooks of the island who only seemed too happy to have there. She was maybe going to miss her snappy and snarky attitude. Sophie was going to have to make a note to write about Cane later.

A huffing and puffing voice joined the crowd on the trolley and Sophie looked up with some intrest to see a flushed-face Bryan looking like he'd just had the run of his life.

She wondered if Quentin had gotten on the trolley yet. The Trolley Song ( "'Clang, clang, clang' went the trolley." ) began to play in her mind as she visualized Meet Me in St. Louis. Judy Garland could really sing, couldn't she?

With everyone else, Sophie made her transition to the train and found a secluded seat ( luckily ) by a window, listening to the incessant chatting around her.
