Um, dare, if it's something I can do quickly and without having to work too hard or do anything like moving from my seat. But truth otherwise.
Honestly, I like to think my first instinct would to be to go hero mode on their ass, but that's unrealistic. I would try to stop it, obviously, but not myself. In this situation, if we're so close to help, I would get help, quickly. Perhaps just grab a kid or two from the hall, perhaps a nearby teacher. I would help, but not alone.

@Jayn; Wow. You're good at this. I think I would try to evaluate my situation. Get closer, see if I had even the smallest chance. Even if I thought I had a chance, I wouldn't be all "Ahoit rush the vehicle", though. I would probably yell at him, or just yell, draw him away from the girl. If attacking or protecting the girl would have put us both in danger, frankly, I think I would, despite how awful I think this sounds, I would have to leave. Yes. It is awful. But I can't let two people be killed.
