yes PS1 games are compatible (depending on which model you get, same for ps2 games)
you can create virtual memory cards (as many as you want) to save the games

and you can play imported and back up copies of PS1 and PS2 games with swap magic and breaker pro, but the process of getting it to work is very annoying (you have to open the system up)

i recommend you to get a 60gig model if you can find one ;D

the only emulator avalible running in linux (that im aware of) is a SNES emulator
as of right now till hackers can open the processor up thats about as far as well get =/

think of it this way
to make your forum more popular than others you need something they don't have. KH-vids went and collected alot of KH media and even translated some cutscenes. name a forum that can top that

good strategy for really strong party:
as stupid, useless, and what seems like a "time consuming" job isn't actually that bad.
just ...
1) never run from any battle
2) always put all your characters in every battle (have them guard or something like that)

by the time you get to sin, your party = true beasts ;P
