What I've Overcome- Fireflight
x3 Ugh, that stinks. Dx You think you'll be back if that happens?
"I know that their magic attacks heavily affect the mind if the Heartless is given time to cast all its spells," Aerith said with a slight shrug. "But that's about it." However, since she was trained in White Magic, she knew a lot of different healing techniques. And since Merlin was unavailable at the time, that left her as the most capable healer in the room. Sora heard the conversation, but he didn't focus on it, unable to keep it as his center of attention. The pain was overwhelming him, even more so than it had been doing earlier. He recognized that if he didn't get help soon, he would definitely pass out.
You're okay with it too, I'm guessing/hoping? xD
Sora felt Riku set him down on the bed and he leaned forward once he had both his arms available to him, his elbows on his knees. He brought his hands to his head, lightly gripping it. Well, "lightly" compared to how hard he had been holding it earlier. Aerith looked over at Sora, her soft green eyes looking at him as he sat there with his head in his hands. What Riku said confirmed her suspicion that this wasn't a physical wound. Of course, that would have been easier to heal that whatever it was that was torturing Sora. "Illusion Heartless," Leon repeated, frowning. He had encountered those for the first time a few years ago, but he had never seen them deal this much damage. Not even close. He turned to look at Aerith and Yuffie beside him, a question leaving his lips. "You guys know anything more about those things than I do?" And by that question, he really meant "do you know what's happening here?"
It is. xD But it's very dramatic, so I'm okay with that. xP
Leon's eyes immediately went to the door when it was pushed open, the man's instincts telling him that it was serious. He gasped when he saw a familiar silver-haired teen and an even more familiar brunet. "Sora!" Wha-what happened? The teen was obviously in pain, but he didn't see any physical wounds. Sora winced, Leon's loud voice ringing in his ears. He kept his head lowered, noticing even with his eyes on the ground that the room was fairly bright. He was surprised he was still conscious with the pain in his head, especially since it had gotten a bit more intense because of the Gummi Ship ride. Aerith sat beside Leon at the table, as she, Leon, and Yuffie had just been discussing some issues concerning their home. Now, though, the discussion was over, due to the surprise visit of their friend. But obviously this wasn't a casual visit; something was very wrong.
Alrighty, sounds good. ;3
Yuppers, whenever there's a good opportunity to break away from Sora and Riku. I have to say though...this plot is intense.
Sora grunted in response, feeling a little better once they were in the cool air and away from the lights. He took in Riku's words, but he didn't dwell on them, unable to keep focus on one train of thought for more than a few moments. But he knew that last bit would stick with him: he had to stay conscious, or something awful could happen.
I guess that once Sora is recovered, we can have him encounter the Heartless again. And this time, he would overcome it...think that would work?
Sora felt Riku shift his grip on him slightly when he turned, making him grunt softly. He opened his eyes a crack and looked down at the ground, not daring to look up toward the ceiling or walls where the light was coming from. "Where are we going?" he managed to say, speaking through his teeth slightly because of the pain.
Nothing too major; I came up with a way for Aerith to heal him and explaining exactly what's happening. After that, though, I don't have much. Or...
Sora felt a bead of sweat trail down the side of his head, but he didn't bother doing anything about it. He felt like he was overheating in the room with the hot fire; however, he couldn't find the words to speak. All of his energy was going into staying conscious and staying on his feet, hoping that somehow, the pain would be alleviated.
Okie dokie then. =)
Sora winced, hanging his head. Over the ringing in his head, he had heard the conversation between Riku and the elf. Obviously nobody here was going to help with the problem; elves were only factory workers, not ever having experience with Healing Magic. Santa might have been able to help, but since he was unavailable...The brunet groaned softly, realizing that the pain wasn't disappearing any time soon.
'Kay, so how about we go to Hollow Bastion for now, and if we want to, we can decide later to add in the King. How does that sound?
Sora remembered Riku's advice from earlier, about just breathing. He tightened his grasp on his head but forced himself to take in a deep breath, trying to at least dim the sense of pain. He had no clue what kind of attack could keep him in this kind of extreme pain for so long, and he was a bit afraid.
Hmm...perhaps we could combine the two? Go to Hollow Bastion but later have the King turn up? I already thought of Aerith healing Sora (I'd...
Yeah, that show is amazing. 8D Actually, I had an idea that Riku could take Sora to Hollow Bastion. That, or we could take him to the King like...
