I've been wondering this as well, I'm kind of confused with how Hated works to be perfectly honest.

I was also thinking about the Announcer post: Maybe they're trying to throw the Mafia off as to who they are? The comment itself seems a little bit rash. I think it's more of a decoy move then an actual theory about what's happening, but that's just me tbh. I haven't seen Announcer in play before so take that with a grain of salt.

My top 3 would have to be the same as Al's. There are a few other players that I'm sort of suspect on, but I don't have very built up cases for them: It's more like gut feelings that I won't act on until these 3 are cleared. I think our best bet is to wait on Spike/Key, because KeytoTruth could bring something new to the table that is potentially a game changer. Best bet might be to go for Hyuge today. If Hyuge is Mafia she's trying to use Marushi as lynch bait so she isn't in danger and use her as a "decoy", but it could also be the other way around. I don't know why the Mafia would target one another when both are equally likely to be lynched. It could be used as an act but it's really risky and I don't think Hyuge or Marushi would play the game like that. That being said I don't think they can both be Mafia since they're using each other as their top leads.

Oh ok xD I didn't realize that you weren't told if you were Jailed or not

I actually thought this was going to happen, so I was thinking about this the other night, if this were to happen there's a few things we could take from it:

1. The Jailor jailed the person that was going to be killed: Obviously this is one of the more likely ones. If so we can potentially confirm another townie depending on who was jailed (Unless Makaze was jailed, then well, that's not as helpful because we know he's town.)
2. The Mafia are people who are or have been not-so-active. This could mean we could narrow down the Mafia to people who haven't been so active lately. So of course I was thinking Spike (Now replaced with KeytoTruth) but Spike's inactivity did not stop the Mafia from killing the last time, so I'm a bit iffy on this.
3. The Mafia couldn't decide on who to kill.
4. Not killing anyone could be part of a plan of some sort. I don't think this is very likely because obviously the Mafia need to kill in order to win. Not killing anyone just puts them at a disadvantage unless I'm not seeing something.

Well, if we're just going to sit around why exactly aren't we just doing a hard lynch?

I've read over the posts, and Cat tends to say a lot of stuff that are either one of two things: Jokes, or just stuff that is common sense. It looks like it's helping the town, while it actually doesn't accomplish anything. They are just "Filler posts" if you will.

If you want I'll quote some actual posts later, it's just that I'm on my phone and I'm struggling.

Last month my friend and her boyfriend were doing the test of courage in the storage room in the gym, and they've been seeing a bunch of weird shadows ever since. Her boyfriend even swears he sees ghosts. During class, can you believe it?! It's like he all of a sudden couldn't move, and it felt like someone was touching his stomach. When he looked down to see..." She paused for dramatic effect. "HE SAW A WHITE HAND."

I think the case against Mish is fairly strong, but the one against Trigger is a lot stronger. I'd go for Trigger, just because I think there's more of a steady case against him. The developments with Mish are fairly new, while Trigger has been acting a suspicious from the beginning of the game.

You hear people say that the spirit of their family is haunting them right? But do you think a spirit would be horrific to their own family? Just because Leon was nice when he was alive, doesn't mean he'll be now." Johanna explained. "Now let's get down to business, who wants to be the one to exorcise him?"

I don't really agree with what Makaze is saying about Maru. I don't see anything that calls out "Mafia" to me, especially since she has claimed Hated. If someone else were to be like "Um, that's not true because I'm hated" then I'd be a bit suspicious. Since that hasn't happened yet I don't see why Makaze is even putting her on the chopping block. We all second guess ourselves, and don't think every last detail through. I think some of the things Makaze was pointing out (Can't quote because I'm on my phone, but I'll be sure quote actual pieces of what Mak said later) weren't Mafia flags but just Townie mistakes. I think it was just a case of Maru trying to get all her theories and ideas out, rather then trying to contradict herself.

I also could be a bit bias because I agree with a lot of what Maru is saying and has said, but in short, I don't think she's Mafia.

I'm really sorry I was at D&D yesterday all day and I meant to post but like, in the end it went really badly so I didn't.

Sorry, I was at a D&D session that went horribly wrong yesterday and though I was planning on posting when I got home it just didn't happen..

Reading everything over, I'm starting to think that it is very possible that Trigger and Mish are Mafias.

Trigger: For his suspicious behavior from the other day

Mish: For not finding said suspicious behavior odd & not commenting about it

As for Hyuge and Spike

Spike: I think he just got the short end of the stick to be used as kind of, a distraction. The way Mish said she "Thought he was suspicious" could be something she's using to take attention away off her. It didn't quite work though from what I can tell.

Hyuge: Aside from my first impressions of her being Mafia, I think that she is most likely a townie. Hyuge hasn't done anything really suspicious like Trigger Or Mish (And to be honest I don't really remember why I thought she was Mafia, so it probably wasn't that important of a reason)

Sorry this is a short post, but it gets everything out that I've been thinking for now. It is early so sorry for any mistakes XD

What Trigger did seemed very suspicious, but I agree with Hyuge in the sense that I don't feel a Mafia Member would be that careless.

Even his reply now is questionable. He could either have been a Mafia Member making a mistake or a Townie under pressure. I did say in another post I thought Trigger was a little suspicious at the start of the game, this only adds to my suspicion.
