Namine saw Roxas' nod out of the corner of her eye before she lowered her gaze to her lap again, seeing her free hand sitting there. Without thought, she brought up the hand and tucked back a strand of blond hair. She was trying to avoid thinking over everything for the millionth time, but unfortunately for her, she had a great eye for detail. And every time she thought about any of it, she remembered something new and painful about it.
It's okay, I'll just have to try to get together with her another time. It'll be hard since she has a busy summer, but we'll find a way. =)
"It's okay," Namine said quietly, finally finding her voice. She had told Roxas that it was alright before he passed out, and she had meant that. Just because she was forced to stay in reality and be haunted by her thoughts didn't mean that Roxas had to suffer that same way. That was why she was glad in a way what he had fallen asleep.
My friend never called me back about it, so I'm gonna say no. Besides, I caught that cold I was so desperately trying to avoid. Dx
Namine looked down at her lap, nodding faintly. At the mere thought of Jeff pointing the gun at her and pulling the trigger, she felt herself at a loss for words. That had to have been the scariest thing she had ever experienced, and she had gone through a lot of terrifying things in her life.
Namine opened her mouth to say that she was fine, but when she first tried to speak, no sound was made. She realized immediately that it was because she couldn't bring herself to lie, not about this. So instead, she shrugged slightly, sure Roxas felt the motion, since she was still holding his hand.
When Roxas looked away, Namine did as well, looking down at Ty on Roxas' feet simply because it was something to look at. The dog looked at peace, and she was jealous. Why couldn't her life be that simple?

Namine looked down slightly, though her eyes flicked back up to Roxas' face a moment later. "A few hours," she said softly, hearing the grogginess still present in his voice. She would have asked how he was feeling, but he didn't appear to feel too well, so that was answer enough for her.

Namine blinked once more, Roxas' voice bringing her away from her thoughts. She brought her head off the side of the couch and turned her head to face Roxas, her eyes landing on his ocean blue orbs. "Mmm?" she hummed softly, that being the only response she could come up with on a moment's notice.
Alrighty. xD I don't know why, but I'm really out of it today. Maybe I stayed up too late, hmmm??? xP
Namine blinked, keeping her eyes on the ground. Out of the corner of her eye, she could see Ty laying on Roxas' feet, just as he had been for the past few hours. Obviously Roxas needed more attention than she had, so that was why her loyal companion was with Roxas. Strangely, though, it made her feel more alone to not have Ty lying on her feet like he usually did.
"Gotcha"? xD I don't get it...
Namine ran her thumb over Roxas' hand once more before she stopped, her eyes staying forward but dropping down to the ground. It had been a boring few hours just sitting on the couch, and of course, she had been given no other choice but to keep reliving what had happened in the alley in her mind. It was torturous, and now she was just tired from it all. But she wouldn't allow herself to keep her eyes shut for more than a few seconds, fearing that nightmares would arrive the moment she fell asleep.

Namine opened her eyes halfway, hearing Roxas' murmur but not understanding whatever it was he said. He was really out of it, and though Namine knew he was always groggy when waking up, this time felt different. She couldn't put into words how she felt, but the air was getting heavier as Roxas came out of unconsciousness.

Namine glanced at Roxas when she noticed movement, but she decided to look away again right away, not wanting Roxas to feel awkward if he saw her looking at him. She lightly ran her thumb over the skin of his hand again as she leaned her shoulder against the side of the couch, moving her head so that it also was leaning there as well. She shut her eyes for a few seconds, inhaling a soft breath.
