Namine couldn't bring her arms around to hug Roxas back, the boy holding her tightly enough that she couldn't move. Her hands were in fists against his chest before she fully realized that she was in his arms. She trembled in his embrace, much like she had been trembling earlier that day after everything was over. She sobbed into his shirt, her emotions being unleashed because of that unfortunate reminder.

A sob left Namine's lips, the sound muffled behind her hands. She heard the noises of a fight going on in the movie, keeping her shaking despite the fact that Roxas' hand was on her knee. The gun went off again and she clenched her eyes shut tightly, tears already falling from her eyes.

Namine watched, feeling proud of Micheal when he stood up to a bully. But the bully gave him a warning, flashing an item that was hidden by his shirt. Wait, Namine thought, tensing. Was that--? A few moments later, her question was answered, the boy pulling out a weapon and firing it. She whimpered and turned her head away, lifting her hands to her face as she automatically began to tremble, the sight of the gun reminding her of her experience with one earlier that day.

Namine had forgotten that the movie was about two hours long, but she was fine with the length of it. It was a humorous movie, even if it wasn't a comedy. Surprisingly, she found herself smiling and chuckling every once in a while at the scenes. At this point in the movie, though, things were darker. Micheal, the main character, was in his dangerous old home along with a bunch of creeps who considered themselves to be his "friends". The blond furrowed her brows slightly, into the movie.

Namine felt Roxas' gaze on her and she turned her head to look at him. When she saw the small smile on his lips, a weak one appeared on hers as well. She nodded slightly and then glanced at the TV, seeing that the movie was automatically starting. She faced forward again, her eyes on the screen as the film began.

"Mmhmm," Namine hummed, letting the previews play on the television for now, since she and Roxas were talking. "Football is a big part of it." She could tell by his voice that he seemed interested, and she was glad for that. It was a good movie, and it certainly wasn't aimed for one gender or the other.

Namine glanced over at Roxas, folding her hands in her lap. "A teenage homeless boy is adopted into a family and lives with them until he graduates and goes to college," she explained. "He gets into football because of his family and that's what he ends up doing with his life. It's based off a true story." That's what makes it especially sweet and inspirational, she thought, keeping that part to herself.

Namine glanced over at the endtable, seeing that the television remote and the DVD remote sat there. That'd be important to know at the end of the movie, or if the volume was too loud. Though she hadn't seen the movie for a long time, she remembered loving it for being so genuine and realistic. And she had a feeling Roxas would like it, too, since it involved quite a bit of football.

Namine opened up the DVD case and then pulled out the disk, holding it in one hand while her other pushed a button on the DVD player, opening the disk drive. Once the movie was in, she closed the drive and turned on her television, changing the channel from where she was to the correct one. When all that was sorted out, she turned around and walked back over to the couch, sitting next to Roxas.

Namine tilted her head slightly, looking through her movies. She and Roxas both enjoyed movies, so they had already seen some of the ones that she had multiple times. And she would be sure not to pick a sad movie; she was emotional as it was. Ah, here's a good one, she thought, picking out The Blindside. She had seen it in a movie theater, and she remembered that it was a heartwarming movie.
