cole phelps from l.a. noire...i mean he has a gun but he's a cop so that's self explanatory.

(l.a. noire is a good game btw)

Loved this so much! And I also loved Tron Legacy: Reconfigured which had remixes of all of the songs on the original soundtrack by Daft Punk. They really picked the perfect duo to make that score because honestly I don't know if anyone could have made it better. Their cameo was pretty nice too at the End of Line club.

i've honestly got to give hans zimmer a pat on the back because i really like the soundtracks for the movies he composes. inception's music was really very good and dramatic and i think some of the compositions fit the situations of a dream and reality. he also did prince of egypt if i do recall and i really liked that soundtrack as well.

also alan menken is just so iconic to me since he composes so many pieces for walt disney animation studios.

if i were to go the route of video games, especially jrpgs since they are so heavily based on story i would say yoko shimomura and nobuo uematsu for obvious reasons and their works in games such as kingdom hearts and final fantasy. as for more western rpgs, shooters, etc. i liked andrew and simon hale's work in l.a. noire for their 1940's esque music which i absolutely loved as well as normand corbeil for heavy rain which i thought was an emotional game with music that fit.

also i second the fuk?'s book of eli reference, it was a really good soundtrack.

well i really love old movies like singin in the rain and casablanca, etc. which are classics in both sense of the word (made in the first half of the 20th century and also unforgettable cinematic works). but other than that i love every disney "classic" film but my favorite will always be hercules. it was the first movie i saw in theaters when i was a little so i will always love that one the most.
