Sora looked to Kairi, trying to decide what to do. But he knew he didn't have enough time to take her frozen form out of the building; she would have to find her own way out. Sora ran, limping a little bit because of his ankle but sprinting nevertheless. He then jumped on Nathaniel's tail and ran up his back, stopping when he was by his neck. Using what was left of his magic, Sora's Keyblade tip began to glow, the teen shutting his eyes as he slashed at least ten times in the span of one second. And then, time began again.
Yeah. xD Oh well, in the end, Sora wins. ;3
Got it! Sora thought, coming up with something. He shut his eyes tightly, using most of his magic for what he was about to do next. The Kingdom Key appeared in his grasp, and then he did what he saw as his only option. Stop! he mentally cried, freezing time. When he saw the spell worked, he used what was left of his strength to shove the rock off his ankle, the teen having only needed a few more seconds to get it off of him.
Well, I had said earlier was that Sora would have been injured when the floor fell and he was protecting Kairi. I wasn't sure how to work that in...
Sora summoned away his Keyblades, moving both hands to the rubble that was on top of his ankle. He grunted and tried to push it off his foot, but he was at an awkward angle; he couldn't get under it. His eyes widened when he looked in front of him, seeing Nathaniel getting dangerously close. Get out of this, Sora! he told himself, burying his panic so it didn't cloud his judgment. There had to be a way out of this.
Yup, that's right.
The moment Kairi answered, Sora prepared himself to charge forward. But he heard an awful rumbling sound and he lifted his eyes just in time to see something coming crashing down on him. He jumped to the side, but it caught his foot, pinning him to the ground underneath the rubble's large weight. A cry of pain left his lips, feeling as if his ankle were broken.
Teehee. xDD
Sora looked up at Nathaniel, furrowing his eyebrows. He was obviously angry that Sora was so close to Kairi, but he had just saved her life. You're welcome, he thought absently, anger appearing in his eyes as he kept an arm around Kairi's shoulders for a second longer. But after a moment, he released her, summoning his Keyblades and taking two steps forward to block her from Nathaniel. "If you have a chance, you get out of here. Understand?" he asked, speaking over his shoulder but still keeping his gaze on the dragon.
Glad you liked it. ;3
Sora, still focusing on the battle that needed to be fought, didn't pay attention to the emotions that holding Kairi brought up. He bent down a little bit, his arm coming out from under her knees as her feet touched the ground. He kept his arm around her back, though, just in case she was a little unsteady. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw her, but he then looked to the side, seeing if there was an exit that Kairi could use to get out of the building. It was too dangerous now that the floor had crumbled; there was no telling when the rest of the building would collapse.
Yeah, this. It's pure epicness!
Sora exhaled a silent breath of relief, feeling himself and Kairi move downward, getting closer to the ground. He could only hover for so long over nothing; he was much better at gliding. But there was no need for that now, so he brought himself and Kairi to the ground on the first floor, his feet touching while he still held her close to him.
I'll be sad when it's over. Dx
Sora picked himself up off the ground, moving a little more slowly because of how powerful that blow had been. But when he heard the dragon's cry and saw him fall to the next floor, he knew that he was in serious trouble. Well, he wasn't, but Kairi was. He turned his head toward her and ran over immediately, moving much more quickly than she had ever seen him move before. And then he summoned his Keyblades away and held swept Kairi off her feet, holding her close to his chest when the floor crumbled beneath them. However, they didn't fall. He held her firmly against him and hovered above it all, the brunet looking down and seeing the floor completely gone from beneath him.
Yuppers. ;3 I'm excited.
Sora's eyes widened, the teen surprised that a beast that large could move so quickly. The tail impacted him before he could form any kind of defense, the power sending the teen flying and into a wall. A cry left his lips at the impact, the teen sliding onto the ground. There was fire near him, but fortunately, he landed in an area that wasn't burning.
I have an idea, so don't worry. ;3 All you have to do is have Kairi stay where she is when the floor crumbles.
Sora realized that he was in a bad position, stuck between the dragon's lowered head and his front arms. However, since there was no way out, he just kept attacking, hoping that the pain would overwhelm Nathaniel long enough to lift his head to allow Sora to get out.
I figured it would. xD
