Sora leaned a shoulder against the wall, taking the pressure off his injured ankle. He would have gone to get ice for it, but he couldn't take his eyes off of Kairi. She seemed so...broken. Shattered. His eyes were soft as he gazed at her, concerned for her. She wasn't taking this well at all, not that he expected her to in the first place.
xP Way to leave me hanging! I have an idea, but I really can't put it into words. =/ I need more time.
No Matter What- Kerrie Roberts
Sora noticed by the way that Kairi walked in that she had left room for him, and that was his silent invitation to enter her home. He stepped inside, taking two steps in and then shutting the door so that the cold air wouldn't come into Kairi's home any longer. He stepped on his injured foot and he winced, setting a hand against the wall so that he didn't fall to his knees in pain.
Light Up- Newsboys
How did you picture it? xD
Sora noticed Kairi's trembling hand, and he felt his concern for her grow. He kept his hand on her upper back, gently wanting to lead her inside. She needed to sit down, or better yet, sleep. Sometimes, it was better to get away from reality than face it head on.
I just was thinking of how to get it started. ;3 We can sorta connect it to the "Smith" plot. When Riku returns and asks Sora and Roxas to come...
As they approached Kairi's front door, Sora was aware that it was probably locked. But he assumed that Kairi had a key on her, so he stayed silent, figuring that she would open the door. If she acted as if she were in too much of a daze, then he would get her spare key from under the mat and use that.
I'm so excited! 8DD
Yes, time gap. 8D Oh my word, him having a brother would be epic. ;3 I also pictured the King being involved, and Riku. Perhaps Leon and Co. as...
What are they? xD
Sora was glad that Kairi didn't flinch away from his touch; that meant she wasn't afraid of him. Or she was too shaken up to react to him. He exhaled a silent breath and gently led her forward, taking her in the direction of her home.
Give me a day and some free time to think about it; I'll get something together. 8D
Sora was aware that he was holding his breath as he took one step closer, lifting a hand and setting it on Kairi's upper back. He hoped that it didn't hurt emotionally in any way; he needed to keep a hand on her back to lead her in the right direction. It was getting dark outside, so it was time to leave.
I haven't had a chance to think it all through. xD You go ahead; I'm gonna think over it.
Sora's eyes softened at the look on Kairi's face, his anger fading away. For now. He cautiously approached her, not moving too close because she may have been afraid of him. "I'm taking you home," he declared softly. Whether Kairi wanted him to or not, she was too shaken up to walk by herself. He would stay with her to make sure that she got home.
So does mine. xD Your post sparked an idea for me.
Sora summoned his Keyblade away, his hand becoming a fist as he stared at the ground where Nathaniel had been laying. He knew that he was gone for good; the darkness lingering in the air was gone. Sora winced at the pain he felt in his aching body, adrenaline starting to fade away. He felt as if he was going to collapse, but he knew that wasn't an option. He shifted the focus to Kairi instead, turning his head to look at her.
Yes, seriously. xD Does your idea involve his father?
