Ah, this is lovely. It seems like you're very good at making things meshed up in this kind of style.

My only nitpick, is that maybe the spark textures should have been a bit less round, and a bit more hectic looking, and the stock with the woman's head looks a bit too sharp. Also...

Could I use this? For my background, I mean?

Pretty nice song, I must say. I think you may have overloaded the thing with too many transition effects. I suggest a simple fade sometimes, since it seems to work very fine to change from scene to scene.

    Overall, very good.

    Well, that sucks...

But we may get in touch with each other there, in Florida. Well, hopefully everything goes well, and that you learn a lot from this new internship.

    Good luck.

I think we are in the post-CTR era, but I don't know what other names to give it.

As it stands, KHV has had its share of events that can be considered the end of an era. Not many forums can say that.

Anyways. I don't really think one's family should go over beliefs. Those are the individual's beliefs, and if they aren't affecting things negatively in any way, then I don't see why the person should even have to choose. Say the person believes that his jersey hat is a god. Does it affect anyone else? No. Is it weird? Yeah, but it's not affecting anyone but him.

I also don't believe family to be a short-term "pleasure" as some would point out.

Finally back from summer, and can update. I've updated with a slight intervention. Chapter 10 will be posted tomorrow. Wait for it, because right now there's only a few chapters left until the end of part I.

    Update

As promised, here's chapter 10. It's a little longer than others, and I still had to divide it. Hopefully I'll get the next part done soon. If you have any critique, then I'm open to receive it.

Meh, nobody sees this, but whatever...I'll just continue on.

I think the main problem is that the system, as structured as is, still doesn't benefit completely the immigrants who do wish to become legal and work hard to earn their keep. Sometimes said system fails, and it is deplorable when an honest person has to resort to vile methods in order to get enough resources.

Imagine being illegal because you haven't received the citizenship. It would certainly cut short most of employment opportunities.

And yes, integration is key. You can't go to the live at the neighbors house, and ravage his belongings; you are careful to maintain the house clean, and aport what you can to it. Same is with the immigration.

Wrong, I said nothing of the sort, but you must realize that there are many ways to interpret it. All I said was that the some artists rendered the Aura(if it exists) as a halo, perhaps they thought, as you said, they saw the sun, or something similar.

Buddha also has a halo in many depictions. I'll merely quote:

Many deities have an halo surrounding them, even heroes, etc. No one can say for certain if this is an artist's rendition of an aura or not.

Actually, yes. It is a form of Halo, but some do believe that many of the important or holy figures had an aura of that color(golden), which I think represents enlightenment and well...mainly what holy figures are considered to be. Some say that the inspiration of the halo in the paintings, comes from the aura the person exuded, so the artist painted a halo.

That's why Mvalentine said that, which is correct. Another interesting detail is that the subject of auras has many to do with "indigo children", I believe the term was called.

If I remember correctly, the head is the easiest part to locate aura. But that's just what I've heard. I can't say anything out of personal experience
