Maki-rin, you know most people call those munchkins.
Aliens.
Ghosts are real. They are evil. Aliens.
"Hah. There was nothing to cherry pick; what you said made sense. Let me add a fallacy to the well, if you still don't get it: Poisoning the well - a type of ad hominem where adverse information about a target is presented with the intention of discrediting everything that the target person says. The point I picked was why you said what you said. You were intentionally derisive and attacked a member as well as the video. In fact, there is reason to believe you would have said something good without prodding if this member were not the one who posted it. Do not do it again.
OHMYGOD HE'S CRAB! NO WONDER I THOUGHT MAKI-RIN WAS THE THIRD BEST WAIFU ON KH-V!
"Nigga needsa go on a diet", says the Lord Jesus Christ.
If that's the case, you should get better at displaying your appreciation. Attacking one contradiction while ignoring the rest of the points is cherry picking and it makes you look like an idiot who wants to start trouble.
IT'S THE FAT ROLLS ON YOUR SOUL THAT I'M TALKING ABOUT! LIKE A GODDAMN SOUTHERN PREACHER I FEAR FOR YOUR IMMORTAL SOUL. SUCH GLUTTONY AND SINFULNESS CAN ONLY LEAD TO THE ETERNAL DAMNATION AND HELLFIRE THAT WILL SIZZLE YOUR GREASY SOUL FOR ALL TIME AND USE THE ESCAPING LARD TO FRY THE SOULS OF THE SINFUL. SUCH IS THE REWARD FOR YOUR BEHAVIOR. BUT YOU CAN BE SAVED BY THE POWER OF THE LORD JESUS.[DOUBLEPOST=1402162568][/DOUBLEPOST]AMEN.
Fatty.
Ah, I see. Thanks. Now on to the meat. He's correct about Professor Layton because the object of the game is riddle and word puzzle solving. Individual puzzles in themselves are not games. He is wrong about Professor Layton because there are games that involve riddles, like... a game of riddles. The conceivable problem I notice with considering it a 'game' (by his definition) is this: The difficulty is subjective and the rules change with each puzzle. It's a game, but it's not a strict progression of difficulty and doesn't necessarily increase your skill at a consistent rate. He's trying to be objective about the games he himself likes. You, on the other hand... You are taking 'Not a Game' as an insult. The point of this video was to point out how it is not an insult. Did you miss the part where he doesn't think non-games are worse than true games? He is saying that dividing them into these categories is valuable. He says that he wants these non-games on the market because they are great in their own right. But they are not games. He wants true games to be made, too. He made this video because needs people to recognize what games are for that to happen. If you are just going to insist that it's insulting, why are you in this thread?
Bah, I was agreeing with YOU. I agreed first, I win.
I didn't even have to post again...
You do know they hired Zone because they like his porn, right?
I agree that it's a novelty game, but I don't think that it's shallow game style is its problem. I personally preferred the game when it was just Dive and Kick because it held true to the idea of the game. The additional characters just made it feel like they were trying to add depth where it wasn't and make jokes that really compromise the core of the game. Because at its core Divekick was supposed to just be a joke about how prevalent divekicks were in games (special thanks to Yun) but it was also presented as a pure mind game with no tech and only 2 options. Dive and Kick. The two characters represented that simple dichotomy and highlighted them in their slightly different options. That kept the game simple but kept it from being all mirror matches. But then they added characters who kicked differently dove in different directions and whatever else. It destroyed the whole dive and kick duality by giving people picks and counterpicks and other ways to play the game. Normally that'd be good, but in a game about distilling the purest essence of the whole option selecting, hit confirming, footsying culture into a single binary decision. They even added the third power up gem in as a joke highlighting that you could only pick one. At the end of the day, it was a victim of its own success and as the expectations and hype grew so the game bloated and lost sight of itself.
I genuinely think that Divekick is both a bad game and a betrayal of the highest degree. The two are related.
That finished faster than certain people.
Divekick sucks.
Maybe y'all oughtta warn them or something. Oh wait...
But it's a blowjob.
