What you find annoying is pretty subjective and is almost entirely dependent on what you're familiar with. For example, I hate Vietnamese. It sounds like ducks quacking to me. Thai also, but to a lesser extent. But I can guarantee that no native speaker of either language would think they sound like ducks and even if they did they'd probably find the sounds of a duck oddly human or pleasant even. But to me English sounds very neutral and "normal" when spoken with the standard Mid-Atlantic dialect. So if we apply this to anime, people who watch more raws or subs will probably enjoy the sound of Japanese more than people who mostly watch things in English to begin with. So at the end of the day unless you are fluent in a language your interpretation of how annoying it is will always be more your biases against the language as a whole than anything else.
It'd basically give away the entire plot (not that Trigger doesn't already do that (if you ever watch it you'll get what I mean)) to fully explain the scene and even giving it context kind of ruins a certain plot event earlier on so I don't feel like posting it here and now. Also, I feel like watching a show is the same as watching a movie. I do it alone, in the dark, with the volume up high enough to drown out anyone trying to socialize with me. I don't multitask, I don't pause, I don't think about other things. It's motherfucking business time when I watch things which is why it's hard for me to block off time to watch things.
