I dislike this idea, to be honest.

We already have a theme thing, and it's pretty consistent, if only somewhat deserted. I don't think doing a monthly theme thing will work, considering how it hasn't worked before. If we are to focus on participating in a monthly theme, it should be the one that's already in the Creativity Corner.

As long as we have slow activity and the CC is also on that receiving end of the slow traffic, then I suggest we place our efforts on the Creativity Corner instead of just staying inside. If we are to get new members and all, that is.

    I do have one idea...

It works out in a similar fashion to a collaboration, and it's pretty simple and easy. One person starts a story, and the next person continues it. Not only does this provide insight into the different styles, it can also create some interesting mixes, as well.

It could be a first person story with different characters, or a third person story. It can have POV per person, too. It's all up to the person. How does that sound?

I'm kinda late. I always try to ignore the departure lobby, since goodbyes are kinda sad.

To be honest, I knew that you were very emotionally driven, and that you've had your ups and downs, but now that you seem free, and happy, it makes me happy for you. You deserve being happy.

You're such a talented writer, and a talented person overall. I'm kinda hoping to read more of you, or that you at least check around here once in a while. It's not like we won't miss you. I'm sure that you're pretty happy now, so as long as it stays that way, you can go enjoy your life.

    Best wishes.

Hello Family, I've been on vacation. But I'm still here.

I'd like to say that I'm beginning to return to writing, but it's been a slow process. I had a major block, or something to that effect. I'm just here to add some suggestions.

More than anything, I haven't been the most active one around, but it's not like I haven't thought of anything. In fact, I'd like you guys to contribute to the guide that's in the Creativity Corner. If you have anything, or you think of a section that could be added or upgraded, then I'd like your feedback.

I'm still trying to remove the rust, but I'll think of something.

I really like this. It's so simple looking, yet the text to me seems to fit there perfectly. I also like what Megahtraun mentioned. Was that done by smudging? If so, I quite like it, and am interested to know how you did it. I also like that the light source is coming from under, and surrounding the focal point.

It's really nice, and I really enjoy that text.

Well, it all can't be rose-colored and beautiful.

Jayn, I really like your music, and I will be following it from youtube, I guess. It's sad to see a good member like you go, but you must have your legit reasons. The site has been on a certain decline lately, but hopefully it will get better.

I wish you the best of luck with everything, with the hope that things will get better.

    Cllct

I went in and at first kinda gave up looking, since I highly disliked what I heard. But then I found this:

Like a Villain Holland Andrews, a simple, yet strange girl(In my opinion) that currently lives in Portland, Oregon. In 2008 she began a solo project, which is her current, and sole, album.

In my opinion this is really good. Not only does she use her skill with the wood instruments-the alto sax and the Clarinet-to convey a relaxing sound, she also has a great harmonizing ability. Her voice is very peculiar, and also very experienced, since she can harmonize in a complete way to create a haunting and eerie, yet beautiful sound.

Aside from that, the mixing is remarkable, when you put your headphones on, you'll hear how the strange sounding harmonies can be heard from left to right to create an explosion of sound. The only downside is that the songs in themselves aren't that long. There's also some variety lacking in the harmonizing, which I'm hoping is expanded upon her next release. We get a lot of haunting sounds, but very little cheery sounds in her works. I'd love to hear more of that.

One thing I do like is that she released a whole album, and not just a small amount of songs. I skimmed through cllct, and saw that most artists have more than one album, yet they only contain a few songs. Still, I checked last.fm, and it had more songs that cllct didn't have. I'm still confused about all that.
Overall, this is a strange mixture. If you're too accustomed to pop songs and clean songs, then this might not be for you. But it's definitely worth the check. Here's the Official Art

Made Unofficial Album art, just for the sake of having a good picture in my iPod. While it's nothing out of this world, it serves the purpose. I do not own the picture, nor the texture used, which Sanami276, from deviant deserves credit for. The unofficial art is only for personal use.

C4D's are like brushes, though far more elaborate, as they are created in Cinema 4D.

Just check it out, any website where you can find renders probably has some, or you could check at planetrenders. They have some.

Well, the color isn't very good. It seems too solid. I think the sig in itself needs a lot more work. The text isn't the best, but it's not the thing that drags down the sig.

I really don't want to keep commenting on that, because you probably put quite a bit of effort in it. But I do suggest you start with something basic, like C4D, which should boost the look of most of your creations.

I also suggest you check some tutorials.

I'm liking everything you've done thus far, aside from the border on top, which I'm guessing is the same picture, bigger, only showing her lips. It seems a bit out of place there. The thing you did on her left side seems good, but in my opinion, shouldn't really look that strong, maybe a bit more subtle? Just a bit, methinks.

It feels somewhat empty, like it could have text or something more. Plus, the focal point doesn't seem to stand out, at least that's what I'm seeing. Overall, it has some nice effects, but I believe it's in need of tweaking. it feels like a WIP, and could do with something more.

It's been pretty fun. Today we all turned into Jellybeing, and we talked about a lot of stuff, actually.

Those who can join, really should. If you have a mic, even better, since we don't have much of those all the time.
