xD, I get what you mean, I wanted to partake, but this resolution was killing me.

Anyways, I think you should work on blending and flow. It's good that you go your own style, but you need to better the blending. I take it you don't smudge? Try that. Liquify? Try that too. Try everything as long as it helps you improve. There are many ways to create wonderful tags without smudging too, but it's up to you to find something good, and that you feel comfortable with.

...This just gave me an idea for the next SoTW...xDD. It would definitely be a toughie for Misty and Laplace...xD

Darn, I'm still getting used to this huge 1680x1050 resolution. It's so different, but I couldn't enter while I wasn't used to the whole thing. I did want to enter, though. I was confident this time.

Jade: I love your flow, and whole overall look. It's amazing what you did with the resources given. This is my first vote.

Laplace:Your smudging is godly. I love it. I'm thinking there's a bit of liquify too, but overall your style is great. I'm not liking the lack of color variety in this tag, plus I still don't like the blending. Amazing use of circles in the background. Second choice.

Danny Phantom:I don't like this too much. It all seems pretty slapped on. I do give props for the straightforward use of the fractal. But, I can't really go with a tag that seems unappealing. I like your simplicity, but you need to expand, because right now it seems like you're stuck in a rut.

Yeah, do post the other one. I want see what colors it originally had. Overall, I still think the edges need to be softened. I do enjoy the concept here, and it seems you're really good at this kinds of tags.

I do agree with others, though the circles are somewhat like an extension of the stock, that's what I think, at least.

Okay, well...

Most have too much going on, or too little. Most have poor blending, and smudging or brushes. And the colors seem too contrasted and explosive in some. I suggest you read some better tutorials, because you've got potential, but you need to keep practicing.

I like these. I do like V2 better, because it has less edges, which I think you should soften up, around the headphones, and in the lines behind her.

I do think it's quite good, though if it were me, I'd add more colors. That's just something personal, though.

Where is Nova? I know he's been busy with college stuff and what not, but that doesn't mean that the rest of us have to let this die. If we do, then they'll be no point for the family, and it'll die again.

I think this thread can be locked with the answer DPwolf gave. I saw the little charade in the Spam Zone, and I must say it was quite distasteful.

Regardless of the person joking or not, we cannot take chances in those kinds of situations, and they must be treated with precaution. It's bad enough the thread starter posted it in the Spam Zone, so it's better not to add to that.

There have been instances in which this has happened. And even worse, on video sites and what not. It's really unpleasant. It would definitely be better if we add as a rule not to flame suicide threads. That would be a good solution.

I like the green. I don't think you should remove it.

I do think the image is a bit sharp in some areas. A little blurring & blending of the stock (slightly) would make this a winner. BTW, Smudging = godly. I so want to smudge like that. I also like the flow.

You've developed a strong vocabulary. That is magnificent. I like your poems, and it seems like you've taken a huge step in improvement. I'd just look out for the rhyme, it feels too similar. Would be good to experiment a bit more.

I want to partake in this, I've just recently returned to using PS and with more people around, I think this is better.

I do have one problem. I changed my resolution because it became blurry all of the sudden, and now everything looks more panoramic. I don't even know how to fix it, since every other resolution looks blurred or too sharp. Had to return to default 1600x1050 resolution. Not loving it.

Comment: The first one was written a few months back, before the huge blockade. The second was a few days ago. A way to express my feelings. Right now, I feel so unusual.

Evanescence is somewhat like within temptation, yet Amy lee's voice isn't so...I don't know, I like Amy Lee's voice better. It has more flair, and power. The only problem with Evanescence right now, is the whole Fandom beginning to split and wage war in the whole band war thing against Ben Moody.

I personally think that this new lead singer isn't... her voice and ring are merely an Amy Lee impersonation right now. While it is true that the band actually is reminiscent of what it was with the album "Fallen" , the lead singer doesn't have a unique quality. Amy's voice is far superior and melodiously haunting, it could send chills down your spine, and make the dark songs created by the former band far stronger, and certainly enjoyable. This new singer is just...not Amy Lee, and this isn't her forte.

I certainly do like the "Open Door" Album, it shows more skill in her vocals, even though it is a bit different. I hope she does great in the future.
