Lol, I don't know why everyone hates borders so much. I'm not in love with the border, but I don't think it's awful...per se.

I do think you are right about the text, but I like greens. I do have a borderless version, but it's a meh thing.

Here's mine. I made it a while ago. Focused more on colors. I also had to mess with the colors a lot. Also, it was a magazine scan.

Lol, I eased up on the darker colors, and removed most of those that created too much shadows and details. Also, the border makes it bigger than the size, but the border is an add-on.

It doesn't have to be exact 400x100 if you add a border, btw.

Guys, today is the last day for entries.

I agree with misty. It's a fabulous concept, and I had no real CnC to give. The only thing I'm wondering is that V1 and V2 are almost the same, with some saturation, or vibrance changes.

Also, I heard the song, and it's great. I love his version of Don't stop the music.

I am afraid of octopi. They simply seem disgusting, and just by thinking of them, I get the shivers, their eyes, their tentacles...ugh. Those huge heads...

Sure thing. You can go about this whichever way you like. Just pick up any file you'd like and start tweaking with each other. It's going pretty well so far, I think a bit of mixing would be even better.

I'm thinking everyone is doing their best, but so far none has that ultimate "it" factor.

Laplace, yours is good, but the problem is, that it's not transparent, and I'm not sure it would work on any of the site's skins. Also, the Logo has to look good on both skins.

Beezygee, that could be classified like the misty', maybe too girly? I wouldn't use that and call myself a guy. I can clearly see it working for something girl exclusive, though.

Amethyst, the only thing I'd say that's a problem with it, because it's not bad. That I don't think it could work as a logo. The effects and gradient are nice, but I don't think it can work as a logo, is all.

These are quite vivid. I'm not recognizing the guy in the second row, though. The only thing I can say is too ease up on white soft-brush. But these are sexy.

Also, I will be placing the end date on each assignment from now on. This particular one will end on friday, or when every member does the assignment. So, that way there's no need to wait, if everyone obviously partook.

The problem with this, is the quality of the stock used. It's not a bad concept, but it's not executed as good as it could.

I'd suggest you get a better stock, the text thing was a pretty nice move, but placing another stock, lightened doesn't do it for me. Plus the blending needs better work. The focal point doesn't have lighting on it.

And that's a problem. You need to work on many things. But don't be discouraged. Just continue, and you'll get better.

Well, it can be made on Photoshop too. But it's far easier on a gradient text generator.

I asked Misty to help me organize everything. So there will be assignment threads made where the entries can be made, and we can comment on them. The main clan thread will now be used for talking about more casual stuff rather than assignments, though you can still talk about it over there.

I'll keep the assignment open until friday. And in the weekend new activities will be issued, and also new assignments. I'm sure we'll all learn from this. And we may also have battles...but, who knows

I really like the simplicity in Spunk's one. I love the positioning and cleanliness in Wolfie's one, and I like the text in Jade's one, even when the guidelines for the assignment mentioned it not to be banner-like. xD

Misty's seems like the mouth is speaking suggestively. Like it's moaning in a sexual voice xD "We are the resistance" xD
