"You think you could call Namine and tell her to come over?" Sora asked, still looking into Roxas' eyes. "She's probably concerned about Kairi, so maybe I can help answer any questions she could have." Since he had just spent the night and morning at Kairi's house, he thought he could be of help to Namine. And besides, Namine deserved to know what Sora was going to tell Roxas as well.
I did have one idea... Random question (concerning my idea xP)- Have you ever read the Chronicles of Narnia? Any books in the series?
A few minutes later, Sora exited his bedroom, wearing black sweatpants, socks, and a gray long-sleeved shirt. He came out using his crutches, entering his living room and seeing Roxas on the couch. Sora himself went to the love-seat, carefully sitting himself down before he lifted his injured ankle and put it on the couch. Once that was done, he looked forward at Roxas.
He wouldn't go back completely, that's right. Perhaps we could bend your plan a little bit to the King just messing with the darkness and...
Sora nodded, turning his head forward and starting in the direction of his bedroom. The sooner he got out of the dirty clothing, the better. He wasn't excited to speak to Roxas about a serious topic like the Heartless, but his friend had a right to know what Sora heard from Nathaniel.
I'm sorry; I'm disapointed too. =/ I've been thinking about it nonstop since you said it, but I just can't figure out a way that it would work....
Sora stopped a few steps in, looking over his shoulder at Roxas when he spoke. "You mind if I get changed real quick?" he asked, glancing at his clothes, which were battle worn and torn in several places. He would have liked to have gotten a shower, too, but there were some things he needed to talk to Roxas about.
What I've Done- Linkin Park
I know. Dx
Sora nodded, both at Roxas' words and out of appreciation for his friend's actions. He carefully went inside, not used to having crutches. But he knew enough about how they worked so he didn't have much of a problem making it in a few steps, giving Roxas enough room to enter as well.
Have Your Way- Britt Nicole
...It just doesn't seem right, you know? After all the struggling, it seems like the end of the Smith conflict would give Roxas the power to...
"Something tells me I'm going to need that spare key a lot in the future," Sora said, a hint of amusement in his voice. It would take a very long time for him to get used to "normal" living again, that was for sure.
Goodbye For Now- P.O.D.
Yeah. =/ It is a bummer we can't use your idea.
Sora reached out a hand and grabbed the crutches, knowing what Roxas had in mind. Once they were in his grasp, he slipped them under his arms, using them to support him enough that when he lifted his injured foot off the ground, he didn't fall over.
I'm not sure. We could sort of incorporate the idea of being controlled; perhaps the guards that were defeated could get back up on their feet and...
Sora lowered his hand, looking down at the ground as he tried to remember. "Um..." He felt as if there was one, but he didn't know where. "...Either under the mat of that rocking chair--" he nodded to the outdoor chair as he spoke, "--or above the door frame." Those were the only two possibilities he could think of at the moment, so he hoped that one of them was correct.
