Okie dokie then. xD I try to stay away from scary/horror movies anyway, even though they don't really affect me.
"You experienced more than betrayal," Sora said softly, opening his eyes after he said that sentence. "You were a victim of deep deception and the plots of wicked men; they manipulated you, and me." He locked his jaw at this, looking forward with hardened eyes. Those Heartless had been summoned to get him away from Kairi, and it worked. He couldn't believe that it had happened, but he had been the victim of manipulation once again. After finding out what the Organization did to him at Castle Oblivion, he really hated people who manipulated others.
These Days- Rascal Flatts
Same at my grandparents'. xD But still, I have a hard enough time napping as it is, even in my own bedroom. I have this weird fear of people...
Sora nodded softly, though Kairi's apology didn't shock him. He had seen her guilt in her eyes the very first time he saw her after returning home, when Nathan had answered the door. "I know you regret it," he said quietly, shutting his eyes when he felt pain. It was a combination of physical pain and emotional pain, which he wasn't used to any more. Physical pain wasn't unusual, but he had buried his emotions pretty deep, so that was something strange to experience.
Every Day- Rascal Flatts
Eh, I'm just not good at taking naps. xD Besides, I was at my grandparent's house, so I wasn't comfortable enough to fall asleep.
Sora shook his head softly, holding Kairi's gaze when she looked at him. "That's where you're incorrect," he said quietly. "I wouldn't wish any pain on you, Kairi, even if you did run into another person's arms." It was true that the betrayal had been rough and unexpected, but he wasn't angry at her. Like he had said earlier, four months was a long time to wait for him to return.
I bet. xD I almost took a nap today, but I couldn't.
Sora shut his eyes, trying to think of a way to voice his reasoning. Honestly, he didn't have it completely sorted out himself. Kairi asked a logical question; any normal boy would have rejected her after finding out she cheated on them. Sora, though, was far from normal. "Because, no matter how badly you messed up, you still don't deserve to feel the brokenness you feel," he said softly, opening his eyes again and looking down at Kairi.
Woo! That's a crazy day. xD
Sora brought his cheek off Kairi's head, the brunet lifting it so that he could see Kairi a little better as he looked down at her. "Yes, Kairi?" he said softly, his voice level matching hers. He wasn't sure what she wanted to say, but no matter what it was, he would listen.
Extremely boring. xD How was yours?
Sora opened his eyes after hearing only silence for a few minutes, looking at the wall in front of him. The silence was...odd. He couldn't judge what aura was hanging around him and Kairi, or if it was good or bad. It bothered him slightly, but he tried to ignore it, focusing on the girl in his arms.
That stinks. Dx But it's okay; it couldn't have been helped.
Sora kept Kairi in his arms, feeling her tears against his shirt. As much as he hated that she was so upset that she was crying, he didn't try to stop her. Unfortunately, she had a lot of emotions that she needed to release. Sora understood that, and he wouldn't make the mistake of hurting her by telling her not to cry. Keeping everything bottled up inside would have only made things worse.
I'm not sure if you'll check the site at all before tonight, but I should be on earlier than expected. xP Turns out I don't have plans tonight...
Sora closed his eyes, keeping his cheek lightly on top of Kairi's head. Even though things weren't what they used to be, Sora had the urge to protect her from what she was going through. He would gladly take her pain and bear it for her; her betrayal hadn't changed his feelings for her, at all. She had been alone, and deceived by somebody with wicked intentions. He felt so awful that he wasn't there to prevent any of that from happening.
Sora suddenly felt the urge to give Kairi a kiss on the top of her red hair, but he knew that it was far too early to do that. Actually, this could have been the last time he would hold her in his arms...The thought saddened him, the teen holding her more closely without thought.
