Ugh. Dx Well, pop on and let me know what's going on if you can, okay?
Namine brought her head off her hand, turning her head to see the person who had just entered the room. "Roxas?" she said without thought, surprised. She was expecting Kairi to return, not Roxas. After all, Kairi had gone out to give Sora his water...right? Or had she been set up once again? Namine figured that it was the latter.
I'm not gonna stay on much longer; I'm tired. Tomorrow I should be on...whenever I wake up. xD
Sora lowered the water and looked at Kairi, his eyes showing curiosity. He wasn't sure what was going on, but he wasn't going to question it. After all, whatever was going on between Roxas and Namine was none of his business. Namine looked at the water bottle in front of her, her sky blue eyes staying on the item simply because it was there. As much as she tried to convince herself that she was over analyzing everything, she couldn't do it completely. Perhaps she was being too hard on herself, like Kairi had said.
Sora gently took the bottle of water out of Kairi's grasp, the teen staying silent as Kairi spoke to Roxas. He wasn't sure what was happening, but Namine was nowhere to be seen. He ignored it to the best of his ability and opened his water, lifting it to his lips and taking a few sips.
Namine put the cap of the bottle back on after a moment, the girl staring at the water for a moment before a soft sigh left her lips. She set her elbow on the counter and rested her cheek against her hand again, looking down at the table as she sat in the silence. Sora sensed the movement out of the corner of his eye and turned his head immediately, seeing that Kairi was coming with two bottles of water. He offered her a soft smile as she approached, the brunet unable to keep his eyes off her.
Namine glanced over at her friend, giving her a soft nod. "Okay," she said quietly, looking down at the water bottle in front of her. She wasn't too thirsty, but she brought her hand off her cheek and used it to help her open the bottle anyway, the girl taking a sip of water once it was opened.
Namine glanced at Kairi before she looked forward again, having seen the concern in her best friend's eyes. A soft breath left her lips, the girl lifting a hand and setting her chin in her palm. Kairi could read her like an open book, and Namine wasn't sure if she liked that or not. In this case, though, she supposed it was for the best.
Yuppers. =)
"Um, no," Namine said, opening her eyes and shaking her head. Since she was acting this way because of him, she didn't think that it would be wise to talk to him about it. Besides, he had given her his apology; why was she still dwelling on this?
A Day Late- Anberlin
I think so. ;3
"I..." Namine looked out in front of her, her instincts telling her to say that she didn't want to talk about it. But she didn't want to keep it bottled up inside, either. "...I don't know," she said quietly, a sigh leaving her lips. "I'm just...confused, about a lot." Confused and hurt by Roxas' odd behavior, she thought to herself frowning and shutting her eyes in sadness.
Easier To Run- Linkin Park
It depends for me; sometimes forced is good. It gets me to do a basic outline, and then I can go back and edit it to make it good.
Namine looked back at her water bottle, running her fingers over it without thought. "Maybe," she said softly, partially agreeing with Kairi. Maybe she was over-thinking a little bit, but maybe she was right to think about some things. She honestly didn't know.
Yup. xD I really gotta motivate myself to write; I want to get a lot done with the rest of my summer.
"It's nothing," Namine said immediatly, lifting her eyes and looking over at Kairi. "I'm probably just over analyzing everything, like I always do." She was thinking about things that she would rather forget, though she didn't see herself losing the memories any time soon.
It does. xD Except then I feel lazy and I don't write any more chapters until I'm almost out of ones I can post on a moment's notice.
Namine shook her head softly, a small smile on her lips as she gazed down at the counter. "Probably," she said in agreement. She and Kari were connected by friendship, but they had a deeper connection as well because she was Kairi's Nobody.
