Moonrise Kingdom is Wes Anderson's newest movie, and is pretty great. It's a perfect example of intelligent film making with actual results. Anyway, it's an exceptional movie from a technical standpoint. I really recommend it. It isn't for everyone, and it has shallow acting performances by children and adults alike, but Wes saved it. So, has anyone else seen it, and thoughts?

It's a good show with good actors that falls victim to shoddy storytelling techniques. The first season is great, but season 2 is a continuous decline of actual writing and it becomes less of a smart soap opera and more of a fantasy. It initially seems they're trying to darken the series, but that quickly goes out the window. I loved season 1, and disliked season 2. Not enough to keep me from watching the third, but, fair warning. But Maggie Smith doesnt even care and it's great
