Namine kept her gaze on the television, though she wasn't paying attention to the program. She was still thinking about what had happened with her and Roxas. He had hurt her feelings, yes, but she found it hard to be angry at him after all they had been through together. She would put her feelings of hurt behind her and move forward, because that was the only choice that she had if she wanted to be happy in the future.
Okay, hopefully I'll see you later!
Namine felt her resistance melt away, the girl just wanting to be near to Roxas. Keeping her hand in his, she scooted over closer to him, leaning her head lightly on his shoulder as she looked at the screen. Despite the fact that he had hidden something large from her and not believed her when she was telling the truth, she wanted to move forward. After all, holding a grudge would only make things more painful in the long run.
'Kay then. =) I was just thinking that you've been on a while. xD Any idea when you'll be back?
Sora glanced down at Kairi when he noticed her move closer, though he looked away when he noticed her facial expression. He wasn't sure what her expression meant, but he assumed that it had something to do with Roxas and Namine. However, it was none of his business, so he stayed out of it. Namine saw Roxas sit down next to her, and she was glad. It was better to pretend that things were alright, especially since they were guests in Sora's home. She saw Roxas's hand on the couch next to her and she set her hand on his, interlacing their fingers as she looked up at the television screen.
I'm not sure what we should do. =/ Perhaps we can keep improvising for a little while, and if we don't get any inspiration, then we can jump to...
Sora glanced in the direction of the hall, seeing the two blonds returning to the living room. Neither of them looked too thrilled, so Sora looked back at the television to leave them alone. They had been gone for a while, and as curious as Sora was to know what happened, he knew it was none of his business. Namine came into the living room and walked around the couch, sitting in the same spot that she had been in before. She glanced at Kairi, though she didn't look at her for more than a second. Her friend had set her up again, and like the last time that happened, things didn't work out well in the end.
Yeah, I had thought of that after I posted it as well. xP Oh well, we'll have to come up with something else.
Namine saw Roxas' gesture and she wordlessly walked past him, taking a few steps before she exited the kitchen. Opening up to Roxas really hadn't done much good; her feelings were out in the open, but there was nothing either of them could do do make things better. Talking it out had only brought their problems to the surface, which wasn't a good thing since now was a time when they were all supposed to be happy.
Yeah, I don't think so. =/ I just said the first thing on my mind; I wasn't thinking.
"Yeah, sure," Namine said, lowering her hand back to her side. She glanced at the bottle of water on the counter and then reached out and grabbed it, figuring that maybe she would drink a little more of it once they were in the living room.
...Nowhere. xP That's all I had, since last year on Valentine's Day they had a snowball fight in the park.
When Roxas took his hands off her shoulders, Namine brought up a hand and tucked some of her blond hair behind her ear before her eyes shifted to the floor again. She didn't know what to say now...it was awkward.
Actually, it's July 14th. xP But in the RP, yes, it is Valentine's Day. I just got an idea! =o Can you say: Snowball fight in the park??
Namine nodded again, her hands at her side since Roxas had pulled her back from him. However, she felt the need to answer verbally as well, just because she had been quiet for a while. "Okay."
Me neither. xD
Namine forced herself to make eye-contact with Roxas when he distanced himself a little bit by placing his hands on her shoulders. She nodded wordlessly, seeing in his eyes that he meant what he said. But if it wasn't her, then she didn't know what it was. She was confused, just like she had told Kairi earlier. But her heart wasn't confused; she and Roxas loved each other, even if it didn't come across sometimes. She knew that was true even when things weren't perfect, like now.
Yeah. ;3 So, have any ideas for the RP?
Namine opened her moist eyes, looking down at the ground when she heard Roxas's response. He...didn't know? She wasn't sure how to respond to that; she wanted to comprehend what was going on, but if Roxas didn't know, then she couldn't possibly understand it either.
Glad we agree. x3
