"Then what is it?" Namine forced herself to say, swallowing afterward so that she could get rid of the lump that had appeared in her throat. She wanted to know that Roxas trusted her, and believed that she wouldn't lie to him. But she also wanted to believe that he wouldn't lie to her.
Ninjas rock. xD Ninjas are better than pirates.
Namine shut her eyes a little more tightly, feeling her eyes become moist. What if she and Roxas didn't have the relationship she thought they had? If he didn't trust her or believe her when she said something important, what did that say about them? "Do you not trust me?" Namine asked before she could stop herself, her voice sounding choked-up.
'Kay. xP Wow, very nice. xD
Namine nodded against Roxas's shoulder a little bit, though she disagreed. She didn't know why she was having a hard time dropping this; she accepted his apology, but she was still sad that he had doubted her in the first place. She felt lied to, in a way, because she had thought she and Roxas had a pretty open relationship again. Apparently she was misled.
...Yeah. xP That's scary. xD How'd you avoid getting caught?
"Sorry," Namine said softly, feeling as if Roxas deserved an apology. "I'm just...being over sensitive. That's all." She was probably over reacting to everything, and she didn't want that to be the case. Yes, Roxas had been wrong for doubting her, but he apologized. Now it was time to move on.
That's good. xD
Namine shut her eyes, holding herself closely to Roxas. There were so many things that she wanted, but she couldn't have put it into words at that moment. Instead, she realized that she just wanted Roxas to hold her for a little while. That was why she was in his embrace now, hoping that she could gain some peace of mind from being held by the person she loved.
Stalling is good. xD
Namine bit her lip lightly, realizing that she wasn't doing a good job of putting this behind her. She wanted to move forward, even if it would take some time. For now, though, she could at least do something to show she wasn't upset enough to walk away with a frown on her face. She pushed herself up from the stool and stood in front of Roxas, taking a small step forward before she wrapped her arms around him and allowed her head to rest on his shoulder.
Yeah. =/ But hey, we're both here again! =) And hopefully you can stay on, eh? ;3
Namine felt Roxas's reassuring hand on her shoulder, hearing the words that went along with the gesture. Again, she nodded, lifting her eyes and looking up at her boyfriend. She believed that he loved her, but it still hurt that he had doubted her before.
It's alright. It's lucky that I stayed on, though; I almost got off for good. xP Hope you can get out of it!
Namine nodded a little before she looked down, refolding her hands in her lap. She had an urge to reach up a hand and tuck back some of her blond hair, but she fought against it, knowing that was something she always did when she felt shy, nervous, or uncomfortable.
Awesome. xD But after that, will you be spending the whole day with him?
Namine finally looked up, hearing Roxas' apology. "Next time you're unsure about something, please talk to me," she pleaded softly, shaking her head a little bit. "I don't like it when you keep things a secret from me, Roxas..." He said this was haunting him for a while, and Namine didn't like thinking that he he was keeping something this big from her for that long. It made her uncomfortable to know that there had been at least one large secret between them.
Namine kept her head lowered, not sure what to say. She had seen how Roxas acted a differently when he was a part of the Organization, but she always believed that they were the ones who gave him a "new personality". After spending so much time with Roxas and eventually getting into a relationship with him, she found it heart to believe that his natural personality was the darker one she had seen since he returned home from his mission.
Very nice. xD Is his train running late or something?
Namine bit her lip lightly, looking down at the ground. By "new personality", Roxas must have meant how he was during his time in Twilight Town, when he believed that he was a regular teenager. "I knew who you were before, yes," she said softly. She had actually seen him a few times, though she never let anybody know that. She wanted to see who Sora's...Nobody, was. But not because she had romantic interest in Sora; she was curious as to what his other half would be like.
