Namine laughed softly a few times, shaking her head slightly. "Yeah, I was surprised to see you two here," she said honestly. "I guess it's a small world." Too small, Sora thought to himself, lowering his hand from the back of his head after a moment. He looked up to Namine and then looked to Roxas. He could see that the smile his friend wore was forced, as was the small one that Sora was wearing.
Namine lightly squeezed Roxas's hand back, able to tell that he was nervous. She hoped that despite that, the two boys could talk things out and come to an understanding. She and Roxas came to a stop in front of Sora and Kairi, and she noticed her two friends stop at the same time so that they didn't run into them. "Hi guys," she said, bringing up a hand and giving a small wave. Sora brought his free hand to the back of his head, running it over his spikes without thought. "Hi," he said back, looking at the two blonds in front of him. He hoped he didn't sound as awkward as he felt; he was a little stunned to see Roxas after what had happened between them.
Sora turned to look forward as well, seeing that Namine and Roxas were only a few steps away now. So, it wasn't a set-up, he thought, having heard the confusion in Kairi's voice. He was glad for that much; he couldn't have handled being manipulated again in such a short period of time.

Sora turned to look at Kairi, his startled-feeling appearing in his eyes. "Namine and Roxas?" he asked softly, his voice reflecting his thoughts. Had he been set up yet again? He didn't think Kairi would pull that kind of stunt on him, considering that he had yelled at her the last time she had manipulated him. But what were the chances that seeing Roxas and Namine here was coincidence?
'Kay, well, I should be free during the afternoon starting around noonish.
Namine saw the look in Roxas's eyes and she lightly squeezed his hand in a comforting way. It was coincidence that they were approaching their friends, but now that the boys were forced to recognize each other, maybe they could patch things up. Sora glanced at Kairi before he looked over the area surrounding them again, his eyes wandering over by the pond, to the two people on the path coming towards them, and to the trees on the other side of the path. Wait a second...He shifted his sight back to the path, his eyes widening slightly when he recognized the people. Roxas and Namine.
When do you think you'll be on tomorrow?
Namine motioned towards Sora and Kairi lightly with her head, her eyes staying on Roxas so that she would see his reaction. She knew things weren't quite right between the two boys, and she wondered how he would react to seeing Sora right now.
Yuppers. xD But I don't think we're going to get to everything tonight; I have to go soon. Sleepy.
Sora smiled faintly when Kairi squeezed his hand, the boy continuing to run his thumb lightly over her skin. The weather was chilly, but he didn't notice cold or warm weather anymore because of the extreme climates he had endured during his mission. Namine looked to Roxas, though she could tell by his facial expression that he hadn't seen Sora and Kairi. She lightly nudged him, keeping her eyes on him with the motion. He would be just as surprised as she was to see their friends here, but Namine wasn't sure if the surprise would be a good one or not.

Namine looked up after a few moments, looking at the path in front of them and around their area at the trees and benches. She did a double-take and looked back at the path, though, when she saw two people she recognized. Sora and Kairi? She blinked, surprised to see her friends here as well. What were the odds they would randomly run into each other here? Sora ran his thumb over Kairi's hand without thought, seeing that there weren't many people in the park today. That, and he saw that there wasn't a threat. No matter where Sora went with Kairi, he was always on the lookout. After being away for so long, he couldn't help but be a little on edge when it came to her safety. He had just gotten her back, and he didn't want to lose her.
xD I'm excited to see how Roxas will react to some of the things Sora will say.
Namine looked down at the ground as she walked, seeing her breath in front of her. It was still February, so it was a little cold out. Still, she was out with Roxas. Since they had spoken in Sora's kitchen, things had started to improve. Namine felt more relaxed around him again, and she could tell he was really trying to make things right again. She appreciated how he didn't give up, and she felt glad that he was holding her hand now as they had a casual walk through the park. Sora held onto Kairi's hand as they walked through the park, the brunet casually looking over the area. Ever since their talk on the couch, Kairi had kept her promise and not brought up the mission again. He was thankful for that, because he had taken the past day or two to cool down so that his sorrow on the subject didn't show on the surface anymore. It was still eating at him, but at least nobody else could see it now. At least, that was what he thought.

Sora allowed himself to enjoy Kairi's presence, the teen relaxing more deeply into the back of the couch. Together, they could overcome anything. They had proven that in the past, and even though things had changed a lot, he had a feeling that their ability to be together and work through problems hadn't. We'll make it through this. I know we will.
Sora took in a soft breath, his gaze going down to the floor. If he wanted to move on, then he needed to have hope and believe that he could make it past this. He was strong enough, as long as Kairi was by his side. He blinked at that thought, surprised at how easily it had popped up. Still, that was the truest thing he had thought in a long time.
Hm, yeah, I had forgotten about that. Perhaps we could lessen the severity of it and say that Roxas was showing Namine that he trusted her and...
