I'm not going to be sad, because Moffat's a great big picture writer but every one of his characters, he spoils. For example! Amy seems cool, then bam romance subplot. NO. I can't say much more without spoilers but Amy, River, and even The Doctor's individual plot is turned into something fanfictiony. Amy's entire role in the series is sexist. Matt Smith, who I love, is such a drastically less interesting doctor in the worst series so far that I sincerely hope Moffat takes some hints from Sherlock's first series and pulls this show together.
