Hmm...well, I suggest you try to use gradients too. Not gradient maps, gradients. Which yield different results. I'll also recommend you work a bit with textures and with other adjustments other than just gradient maps. Like the exposure, the channel mixer, and whatever you think you can experiment with in Adjustments.
Any kind of texture will do. You can always resize the bigger ones, and just put two 100x100 together, that's what I do. I could direct you to some nice textures too, I guess.
The text is whacky bad. Yeah, it'd be best if you didn't use that text. Text is very peculiar, because it can be really hit or miss. Try simpler fonts and effects on the text, and then move up from there. The negative space(the black parts) look somewhat strange due to the effects you've got going on, they seem just a teensy bit slapped on. You have a flow there, so it may be good to smooth out the effects and make them flow a but more into the whole composition of the tag. I like how you tried to put some depth in there, and the light looks really nice. Except for the fact that there's also some light in other parts of the picture, so you may want to play with dodge and burn tools to get a more consistent lighting. It may also be good to gradually give depth to effects by blurring from front to back, the intensity of the blur diminishing as you go. I recommend you get a few more fractals and C4D resources to work with, and also mess a bit more with the depth, light and flow(If you're going to have flow)
Yeah, that's pretty much it. There are some pretty amazing light and film textures floating around Deviantart. They can really be useful in some situations.

Where would that leave the 3DS then? I've been wondering about that for a bit. Mainly because the WiiU control looks like some handheld. Wouldn't it be confusing to get two handhelds from nintendo?How would it work? This isn't the exact case of "a better one coming out" because they're pretty much contemporary. In which case, wouldn't the PS3 + Vita be better, since the Vita is going to be full-fledged platform that can work like a controller/handheld console? Whereas the WiiU control is the other way around? The price of a handheld + Console, should be less than handheld + console + expensive controller(that could work like a handheld?)

I think it was stated to mean "The distance you fall in your dreams" Which ties in a bit with KHI, since it was kind of significant by that time. Not so much with the new releases, though. Birth by Sleep being an exception.
