No, haha. I don't think that's correct. Emblem heartless only have an emblem because they were created unnaturally. Their shapes are different and more varied, as Marluxia912 said. But no, Purebloods do not turn into Emblem. I'm not sure why Emblems release hearts and Purebloods don't, but I'm guessing it has to do with the fact that their process of creation is different somehow.
While that could be true, we have Sora. And he turned into a mere shadow heartless. So it's also possible that they're just run-of- the mill heartless. As for their methods, as stated above, you'd need a Keyblade to do it. But then you have to wonder why they couldn't just use the Keyblade wielders to hunt heartless until they obtained the right one. But you have to realize that being "killed off" and just disappearing wouldn't be pleasant. Even if you knew that you'd come back; there's no guarantee you'd have your memories as a Nobody. We have Roxas, who became whole, but not in the way you'd think. He became a whole Sora, not Roxas with a heart. If that makes any sense.

This was pretty awesome. I still haven't played Birth By Sleep. I'm hoping I can get it for the Vita or as a PS3 remaster. I already spoiled myself and saw it all, though. It's really on par with the console games. All of this just makes me excited for the future games! Thanks for this xD
The Avatar one is a bit dark. Also kind of lacking in overall shades of color. I suggest you work a bit with more color balance, brightness/contrast and Exposure. It really helps for those dark images. As for the Rei background. I like that you tried to experiment with blending modes. But it isn't exactly doing it for me. It feels as though there's no flow and the effects seem as if they were tacked on. But overall, really great. Keep it up!

These are pretty wonderful. Baby Alphonse is so cute. The only ones I'm not exactly liking are the Rei ones. It's just...very strange. Like you set the blending mode to darken or something. The second background is love.
