Kairi nodded, then asked unsurely. "Hey, Geryl...do you know something you're not telling me? Because when I asked about Sora, you seemed like you hestiated..."
"Well, let's hope it's not another guard. They're getting annoying."
Zexion thought for a moment. "I might be able to temporarily throw them off. It'd only last a short time, but if we move quickly, we might be able to get to the resort."
"That's an interesting theory. I'm never heard anyone think that before." Kairi replied. SHe supposed the name was fitting. After all, Sora, Riku, and her had played a big role in the destiny of the world.
Olette had been relaxing on her bed when she realized something. "Class starts soon, doesn't it?" Looking over at the clock, she paled. "Shoot. Five minutes!" She quickly brushed her hair, grabbed her books, and took off, not wanting to be late. OOC: ...what class are they going to anyway? :P
"Yeah...I grew up without knowing where I was born. Sora and Riku found me washed up on the Destiny Islands. My first memory was opening my eyes and seeing Sora standing there." Kairi smiled at the setting sun. "It is really beautiful here."
"Sounds ok to me." Zexion replied, watching for more guards.
Noticing Angel's incident, Zexion said, "Give her cover. The shot's going to slow her down."
Kairi smiled faintly as she looked out at the water. "It feels so weird being back here on the Islands."
OOC: 0.o ....that was a lot of reading to catch up on. *collapses* "Well, excuse me for not moving at hyperspeed, Xigbar. I'll have to try that." Zexion muttered sarcastically, covering up the bodies with an illusion before catching up with the group.
"Nice to meet you, Geryl. I'm Kairi."
"Oh...okay." For some reason, Kairi had this feeling that there was something that the guy didn't want to, or wasn't, telling her. "I never asked for your name, did I?"
Namine sprinted off to get her stuff, in too much of a hurry to notice she'd dropped her sketchbook in the hallway. OOC: Ow. I got one of those on another thread earlier. :/
OOC: Either that, or they're really late for class... Namine suddenly stood up. "Oh shoot! My next class is on the other side of the building, and I still have to stop and get my stuff..." OOC: No clue why, but I couldn't see your post for a while. 0.o
"You know Sora?" Kairi asked. "Do you know where he is? I have to go see him right away." So even Sora and Riku thought she was dead...what a mess. She should've never left.
Kairi's eyes glimmered with shock. "Um...yes, I left, but you have to be mistaken. I didn't die." Did everyone else think she'd died? "When was this reported?"
"I unpacked earlier." Namine replied. OOC: Datebase errors can be quite annoying.
"Someone died?" Kairi asked in disbelief. She sure had missed a lot while she was gone...
Kairi turned around, surprised. "Hi. I don't think I've ever met you before."
Kairi walked along the edge of the beach, looking out at the ocean. "I can't believe I'm back here after so long..." she whispered softly, her voice carrying. Kairi had never thought she would find herself back on the Destiny Islands again, but here she was, waiting on the beach. She couldn't wait to see Sora and Riku and... She sighed, hoping with all her heart that nothing had changed, and that Sora and Riku would be standing there waiting for her, welcoming her back to the Destiny Islands with open arms. OOC: Sorry I didn't post sooner...I've been at school all day. :/
