Tristan thought about his dream before answering Eleanor's question. That dream felt so weird. I'm going to bring about the world's destruction? Impossible. Tristan dismissed the dream as being nothing more than that, a dream. Tristan smiled at Eleanor. "I also would have died had you not been here. I am indebted to you. I couldn't have expected better. Don't worry about my wound. I'll live."
"There's no guarantee that they will even open it at dawn. Especially now that Nas has pretty much made it known that I'm still in the town. That's why they closed the gates in the first place. Then again, Nas does seem to have some talent when it comes to jumping onto rooftops. perhaps she could jump us over the wall." "If I may, Master Tristan, now may not be the time to do that." "And why is that?" Nas looked at the ground. "Well you see... I think you may have been robbed of your item of great power." "What item of great power?" "You know.... the um.... well.... the crystal....." Tristan sat up straight. "WHAT!" Tristan searched all his pockets for the box. It was gone. "Why didn't you mention this sooner, Nas?" Nas trembled slightly. "Well, I tried to but..." Nas told Tristan what happened. When she was finished, Tristan released a sigh of exhaustion. "Nas turn back into your ferret form. We can't have you going around like that. First thing is first. We got to buy you some clothes since you seem to lose yours ten times a day. After that.... Well I don't know what we do after that. I can't be seen out there without a full blown riot taking place." Tristan looked in Nas' direction. she had already turned into her other form. Well, that's a relief. Thought Tristan.
Nas finally made it back to her master. Once there, she transformed. "Master, I'm sorry for leaving you. I will accept any punishment you give me." Tristan nearly jumped from hearing Nas' voice. He turned his head to look at her. "It's okay Na-" Tristan's mouth hung open. Once again Nas stood in the alley nude. Tristan quickly looked away. "Seriously Nas? Seriously? What, did hand out your clothes to the homeless this time?" "Hmmm?" Said Nas while examining herself. "Oh.... Whoops.... I think I left them behind." "You left them behind..." Tristan said flatly, "Just please tell me you didn't do anything to attract attention." "Well, actually-" As soon as those two words left Nas' mouth, Tristan felt like banging his head against the wall. Great, he thought as he listened to Nas' story, That's just great.

Nas felt a little less tense just knowing that Rubira's master was not a demon. She glanced down below only to notice the crowd for the first time. "Oh....." she said quietly. Master probably wouldn't want me to cause scene either. Come to think of it, I didn't even ask for master's permission to leave him..... Uh-oh...... Nas transformed into her ferret form, causing her left behind clothes to blow away in the wind. As fast as she could, Nas ran back to her master. Rubira would have to wait.
"I actually do have a new master. He's a shaper and a prince!" Nas exclaimed proudly without realizing that she had attracted a small crowd. Nas glanced once again at the crossbreed. "So then if she is not your new master, then who is she? It's not like you to protect the innocent. And for that matter, who is your new master if not her. Don't tell me you've ended up with another demon, now."
"But it is my concern because, depending on your 'buisssness', I may have to kill you." Nas glanced at the nearby Fairrel. "Is that your new master? She's quite different from your previous one."
Disneyland, huh? Never been there, though I've been to Disney World. That's much closer to me.
Tristan was speechless. He had not expected that in the least. "I.... I don't know.... But somehow I get the feeling that this isn't going to turn out well." -------------- Nas jumped from rooftop to rooftop. The summon's presence was becoming stronger. Nas made one giant leap and stopped on a building not far from the gate. In the distance, Nas could make out her ancient foe, Rubira. "Rubira?! So you have a new master, then. What business do you have here?" ---------------- The guards were still unsure about the boy, but a sudden feeling of tranquility came over them. They felt as though they could trust him. And so they told him what happened. "I see..." Said Zack as the guards finished their story. "Can one of you take me so I can meet this general?" One of the guards nodded before leading Zack off to the secret chamber.
"Outside the town..." Said Nas with her eyes still closed. The owl, that she called, circled the town. Nas looked through it's eyes until finally... Nas' eyes shot open. "Rubira!" She said suddenly. "Who?" Without warning, Nas jumped on to a nearby roof and began making her way towards Rubira. They had done battle with each other several times in the past. They were practically sworn enemies.
"The pain is gone, but not the shivers." said Tristan while glancing over at Nas. "What are you looking at Nas?" "I sense someone.... It's a summon." Nas closed her eyes and called out to the owls. She would use their eyes to see what was up.

Tristan raised an eyebrow. "Must be some pretty powerful stuff you got there." Tristan took the bottle and took a gulp. He nearly spit the stuff out too. "Sweet, huh?" Tristan said with a smile. "Seems a tad bitter to me. Oh well." Tristan quickly drank the rest trying not to think about the taste. Nas appeared from the gem at that moment. "All done!" she said happily. Suddenly she felt a powerful aura from the West. It felt familiar.

"It's all good." Tristan said causally. Tristan stared at the liquid and frowned. "It's not going to taste nasty is it?"
Nas stared down at herself curiously. "Oh, I completely forgot about them. I think I left my clothes inside the gem... Would Master Tristan like me to go and get them?" "Yes, yes! Please do. We can't have you going around like that. What if somebody saw you?" "Well actually, someone did s-" Tristan wanted to smack himself on the forehead. "Nas just get them, please." Nas disappeared into the gem. Tristan chuckled to himself. "I'm beginning to think that I'll never get use to that girl." Tristan said to Eleanor. "So is that where you went? To get first aid supplies? You had me worried when I woke up and found no one around. I was afraid that something might happen to me and I wouldn't be able to do anything about it." --------------------- The guards were taken aback by the kid's rudeness. "Look kid, I don't know who you think you are but-" Zack began to shine brightly as he released a feeling of tranquility in the hall. "Please, sir. It's urgent." ---------------------- Karchit was growing bored of this quickly. The men were complete overwhelmed and they were dropping like flies. "Tsk, Where the heck is that Zuiden?"
Zack quickened his pace, the smell of the Demon was getting closer. He was in for a surprise when he turned the corner. The demon was dead. But who killed it? Surely not humans. But the thing was that the hall smelled of human blood even though there was no body. Zack glanced over at some nearby guards who where discussing what they should do with the body. "Excuse me, but can you tell me What happened here?" The guards looked up. They were surprised to see a child walking the halls. "This isn't a place for a little kid to go wondering around in." Said one of them. Zack ignored the remark. "I asked you people a question. What happened? Who killed this creature?" ------------------ "They look like pieces of crystal." Said Danil Kellington. "How strange."
