    'I should have done something.'

Henrik's eyes shifted away from the cracked screen of his phone, still uncharged from the last call that had been taken from it. 'What?'

'Metatron--Enoch--was the last one I respected of this group. We both know I had the power to save-'

'And you didn't. Look, I'm not shrugging off someone's death so easily but I still have more important things to think about. Like getting my wife and children back.'

Lei went silent at Henrik's response. It was strange to see him...mourning? Was that what it really was? Henrik didn't believe Lei had any real sort of compassion given the dozens of times Lei encouraged him to kill the others as if he was some sort of law enforcement despite having been kicked out of Heaven. Henrik would have given it more thought but he still had other things to tend to.

Henrik scratched the back of his head as he counted the hours that had passed since his phone was last used. By now the battery should have settled down to buy him enough time to do a quick search on the number Iris had called from.

'I thought the battery was dead.'

'Chemistry, Lei. Chemistry.' Henrik didn't bother explaining the principles behind batteries to Lei and simply focused on the screen as it turned on. As expected, the display showed him exactly how little charge was left in it. Henrik barely managed to get some results on the number when the phone powered off once more. He only caught one location from it. Russia. That wasn't specific enough, everyone knew Russia was massive, but he could always narrow his search down later.

"My wife's alive," Henrik said to no one in particular. It was the first time he had said it out loud and it felt good. "She found herself in Russia. Temeluchas's doing no doubt." He directed this towards Hana despite the condition she was in. "I'm not going with you guys. I need to find her and my children."

Why are there other options besides Kirk and Picard? All other opinions are wrong. But I'm partial to Captain Data/B-4 myself(which is canon).

Just quoting to say that the only villain Goku killed, from what I remember, is Kid Buu. Even then...does a Spirit Bomb really count as Goku's kill?

The voting for Call's design will be held next Friday on September 27th and the results will be announced on October 1st. Above are just some concepts they have ready(these aren't the final designs that'll be used for the poll).

There will be no new FFXV info at TGS. Sorry, guys. But Nomura will appear "at an interview"! That doesn't really amount to anything right now but it's bound to be better than Square's "stay excited for a new Final Fantasy" at the PS4's reveal.

    Source: Siliconera

Oh and the Type-0 team is working on FFXV. That isn't surprising considering Type-0's director, Tabata, is XV's co-director with Nomura. Considering the fact that Type-0 is easily one of the best Final Fantasy games ever made(in my opinion)...more hype. All the hype actually. All of it.

Iris had not once looked in Alistair's direction nor acknowledged a single word he had said. Her children were in Hell, literally, because of monsters like him. She immediately walked ahead of Alistair, taking the lead as they approached the town. The sooner they ran into people, the better. Once they reached the town, Iris tried walking over towards a lone man going about his business, probably trying to go home. There were so few people out in the cold as the next closest person was at least a hundred feet off in the distance. As she picked up her pace she met resistance, finding that the restrain Lu had placed on herself and Alistair kept her from freely moving farther than about a meter away from Alistair. Now wasn't the time for her patience to be tested. Iris yanked on the bond before calling the man over in Russian.

After a short exchange of words, the man agreed to lend Iris his phone. She had no idea where Henrik was now but at the moment all she needed was to at least speak to him. To let him know she was still alive. If Alistair believed he could stop her from doing this much he would be mistaken.

'Great. More time wasted.' Henrik had long since lost his patience and every push from Lei chipped away at his self-control. Lei's own hatred of the others, save for Metatron, was continuously seeping its way into Henrik's thoughts and even though some of the group had done nothing to frustrate him he could only find himself thinking the worst of them. Henrik had the strength to hold down Lei's own overwhelmingly powerful desire to control his body and keep the angel quiet but emotions ran so much deeper. Because of this, Henrik kept his thoughts away from Iris whenever he could. He would not allow Lei to corrupt those memories. Not if he wanted to retain the humanity Lei so desperately wanted to crush.

    Bzzz!

He raised an eyebrow and dug into his pocket for the source of the sound, drawing his phone out to stare at a cracked screen--possibly broken from an earlier fight--and an unfamiliar number. The only thing that he could tell was that it was not from this country or even from home. He stared at it for a moment as he wondered whether or not he should answer. There was no reason for him to take a call but at the same time, what else was there to do? At least if he told someone off on the fact they called the wrong number, he would have some way of expressing a little emotion. He left the room to take the call in private. As he answered, the voice that came was not one he had expected.

    "Henrik?"

"I-Iris..? No...This is some kind of sick joke isn't-"

"It's not! Henrik, they have our children."

"I thought you were dead...I lost you..."

"I'm alive. Please, you have to focus. There's nothing I can do to get them back but you have those powers don't you?"

    "I'm not strong enough to-"

    "Henrik! Get them back!"

    "I'll find a way. I swear."

    "I know you will."

"I'm sorry, Iris. I will make this right. I love you."

    "I lo-"

'What? No. NO! Goddammit!' The line was cut off as the last of Henrik's battery drained out. Being away from home several days did that to a phone. He hadn't even asked Iris where she was. He shoved the phone in his pocket, recalling the digits of the number that Iris had used to call him. Henrik knew he would have a general location of where she was just from that phone number. She was alive. That was all he needed to push forward. He reached a hand up towards his face, touching the wet stain on his cheek before wiping it away. He hadn't gotten any sleep in several days and it would not do him any good to leave when it was dark and he was tired. He would be able to work more efficiently if he had some rest though he was unsure he would be able to sleep anyways.

And Henrik tried to sleep...somewhere. Meanwhile over in Siberia, Iris did not sleep because she had enough sleep for a lifetime.

"But a fight for equality made... sense to me. No side likes to be held down while another is praised. And I thought about the situation... on Hell's side, everyone is fighting and willing to help. Is Paradise helping you?"

Lei wanted to answer this in Henrik's stead and he could feel the angel pushing on his consciousness wanting to strike out towards Adam. 'Relax. If we need to stab him you'll be the first person I'll come to.' Henrik cleared his throat and, since no one else seemed to step up to respond to Adam, he chose to do so. "The problem with that kind of thinking is the assumption that Fallen, or even Dark Angels, deserve equality. They don't." He narrowed his eyes towards Adam. "Paradise, has helped enough. The less intervention we have from those who haven't fallen, the better. It's not their fight."

Henrik pulled out the obsidian knife though he did not point it towards Adam, not yet at least. "If they want equality, they can have it in death."

'Finally, something we can agree on. Now kill him. That's Semyaza you know. We don't need his kind here. He's already on their side.'

'And if I threaten him now that hardly guarantees us his trust.'

'I didn't ask you to threaten him. I told you to kill him. He's one of the worst there is. We'd be doing everyone a favor by finishing him off now. Even without my help you should have the power to-'

Henrik silenced Lei with a bit of willpower, something that he had been working on to get control over his own mind, and stuffed the knife back in his coat pocket. If Adam, or Semyaza, refused to join them that only made him their enemy and the less they had, the better. Henrik pulled his hand away from his pocket but kept his mind focused on where the blade was in case things went south. "No need to be so selfish. There's more to fight for than just yourself. Unless, of course, you'd prefer the Earth to look like a wasteland."

'How long has it been since you slept?'

'Two, three, maybe four days. I don't remember.'

'So suddenly someone with your mental capacity can't remember something so simple? You're dragging your feet already. Go a few days without sleep and suddenly you humans are weak and slow as children. Just let me take over and-'

'No. While you were human I saw you kill your own wife, you'd have no reservations on killing the others the moment I give you control. What the hell's your problem anyways? You're Fallen too.'

'If I was going to kill them, don't you think I would have let those weaklings die back at Norway? They deserve to die. Don't you dare lump me in the same group as--wait...'

'What? No witty comeback? Getting soft?'

'How did you know that woman I killed was my wife?'

    'I just...knew.'

'Digging through my memories isn't something you should be doing.'

'Like you haven't done the same to me. Is killing anyone who gets close to us something you get your kicks out of? You killed your wife and you were ready to kill mine too!'

'Goddammit Henrik, just shut up. NOW. You're just a human you wouldn't-'

'What? Did I piss you off? I thought you were above petty human emotions. Is this a touchy subject? IS IT?'

'This isn't the first time we've made nephilim, okay!?'

    'What. Are. You. Saying?'

'The further we go in our reincarnations, the more memories and powers we lose. Two lifetimes ago...I don't know how, but...I couldn't let it come into this world. I wouldn't. Not when I knew what kind of attention could be drawn.'

    'So you-'

Henrik crossed his arms once they arrived, having kept silent the entire trip. A recent argument, if it could really be called that, with Lei left him unsettled. His thoughts returned to that of Iris and his unborn, or possibly already-born, children. Every moment they wasted here was a moment he was away from his family. Did they really need anyone else to add to their group? Last time he checked, Shane had done nothing other than stop a blade with his chest. If their battle plan was to march straight into Hell and use all of the weaker members as fodder, then maybe he would have agreed with such an idea but given that there was still only a handful of them that hardly seemed logical.

Of course, they could train...but that too would take too much time. He sighed out and raised a hand to rub his eyes to shake off the weariness he was feeling. The longer they waited, the more appealing storming the gates of Hell with the much more powerful Lei in control seemed to be. The only reason why he hadn't tried that was Lei's own attitude towards nephilim. If Lei somehow managed to survive and even triumph over any resistance he found, if he ran across Henrik's own children... That in mind, Henrik tried to keep his anger in check.

'How adorable. That kid is acting like he's in charge. Why don't we just introduce him to our pointy obsidian friend and-' Henrik shook his head as Lei spoke up.

'No point. Besides, he's done nothing but state the obvious. A five year old could make the same suggestions.' Henrik lowered his gaze towards his hand, taking notice of the obsidian dagger he was holding. He raised an eyebrow, wondering how it got there as he was sure during the course of the night he had placed it in his coat pocket. Lei must have been behind this to make his point clear. Henrik put the knife away once more and straightened out his coat before pushing himself away from the wall.

"We can't go anywhere without knowing where to go first. Besides, if Harbonah is going to be around this Adam then we're going to have to just deal with her as soon as possible."

'What do you mean we? Have you seen how incompetent this lot is? They've gotten by on nothing but luck.' Henrik could do nothing but ignore Lei though he could not help but agree with him. The more Lei spoke, the more it made it seem that humanity would be nothing but a weakness at the end of the day. Several of them lost their tempers far too easily, others were too eager for battle, and the rest...well their chances of surviving did not look so great. Of course, looking at it the other way around, the Dark Angels were far too egotistical for their own good. Harbonah got stabbed because of it and she would likely die soon. There was always the chance that Danel and Temeluchas would be just as foolish. Well, perhaps not Danel. He seemed to be a tad bit smarter than the other two. 'Smarter? Maybe. He's an odd one. I don't know why he puts up with Lu and miss "I got stabbed because I was stupid". I would have killed both if I was in his shoes.'

"I'm guessing we have a way to track Adam, don't we?"

Henrik turned over the knife in his hands, surprisingly the obsidian blade did not stain with the boy's blood and as he continued to examine it, could not help but wonder if it had some special properties. 'This obsidian doesn't come from Earth. Let's just say getting stabbed with something made out of this stuff is the last thing you want. Poor Ambriel. He shouldn't have tried blocking with his chest. Oh well.' Henrik shook his head towards Lei's comment and looked over the new, but ugly, place they were spending the night at. It was a rotted barn that barely looked able to stand on its own.

At least they didn't have to deal with a rotting corpse. The others made sure of that by cremating Shane. It was difficult to feel sympathy for something he had not recalled ever speaking. Lei obviously felt nothing for his fellow Fallen and in fact seemed to be glad of having seen one die by the blade Henrik now held. Even so, Henrik knew it was unlike him to feel this way about death. Perhaps his apathy was the result of Lei's own influence and his own distrust of the others. For now, he decided that he would hold onto this blade, just in case. Henrik closed his eyes as he leaned against one of the barn's walls that looked sturdy enough to support his weight, making sure to keep his distance from the others. Once again, Henrik found himself unable to sleep. Not until he found Iris, whatever her fate may be would he be able to find some kind of closure...or hopefully just Iris alive and well, a fate which Lei did not believe would be possible. Through the night his awareness of the surroundings came and went due to exhaustion.

Henrik walked over towards Shane, looking at his lifeless body before stopping beside Richard. He showed no signs of paying attention towards the younger man and knelt down, immediately yanking the blade out of Shane with no regard to sentiment. Lei was silent, perhaps mourning his deceased-A mental scoff came from Lei. Well, so much for sympathy.

Try and read the interview above before making your judgments on this. I'm not a fan of the new style but I could get used to this. Besides, more Cyborg 009 is great news. Maybe there's hope for this adaption.

So a new Harry Potter film series! Woo. I encourage anyone who hasn't read the book(same title as the film) to actually read it. It's small but fun. Of course, the only relationship to Harry Potter this thing has is the fact that it takes place in the same world. That's all. I'm excited though.

So apparently the story seems to be...in an earlier cycle than Type-0's story(a translation I found implies that this is the first cycle). It looks like Ace is the only character in Class 0 while everyone else is in other classes. (Machina and Nine are in Class 2, Rem and Seven are in Class 7, etc)

    Oh and...

    *sigh*
