6 Hours Earlier Henrik had expected the fight to be over before Alistair even had a chance to react. The last time he had seen him fight Alistair had not been nearly this fast. And he did not have those strange new powers to save him from death last time either. 'This isn't the first time I've seen those. You might want to watch out for-' Henrik leaned back as five blades were shot straight at him. The knives blitzed past Henrik and dug deeply into the wall behind him, having just arced out of the way due to quick usage of his telekinesis. 'That.' Lei finished, sounding amused in Henrik's mind. 'He wasn't even a threat to us before. Strange.' Lei's thoughts were only distracting Henrik as he barely had time to draw Nakah and use the blade to block Alistair's attack with his own sword. Henrik ground his teeth in frustration as he shoved on Nakah to force Alistair away. Once the blades separated Henrik readied himself to strike back when the intruder suddenly turned heel and jumped out of the balcony to the ground below. 'Coward!' Henrik ran towards the window ready to give chase when sirens rung out in the distance. Some passing police must have heard the gunshots. Henrik reached into his coat and placed the last remaining bullet into the chamber, pointing the gun at Alistair's back. Before he could pull the trigger, Alistair managed to get out of Henrik's line of sight. He growled lowly and put the revolver away. "Gottverdammt!" Present Henrik had met up with Brandon after the others had left the country. Things would definitely not be awkward given how antisocial Henrik had been. Definitely not awkward. ...Nope. Not at all...
'You feel that?' 'That's just you speaking again.' Henrik scratched the back of his head as he looked down at the ground. If he continued to pace any longer he would end up carving a hole into the hotel floor. He picked up his coat, still heavy from the firearm within its inner pocket. Having a sword was nice but a gun just felt more... For once, Henrik couldn't think of a word for what was on his mind. Henrik had the chance to go with some of the others to somewhere, once again Henrik's mind was elsewhere, but decided to leave whatever business they had planned to the others rather than join in. 'There it is again.' 'Again, it's just you speaking. That's all I feel.' Henrik growled lowly, wishing he had better control over Lei. There were times when he could get him to shut up but on every other occasion... 'No. Not that. Dammit Henrik, pay atten-' Just as Lei began to speak and before he even cut himself off, Henrik spun around to find someone being thrown through the mist into his room. Henrik was a logical person, being called a genius would be an understatement to him, and it would have taken him not but an instant to figure out who dropped this man off. But Henrik didn't care. He was tired of keeping his cool when everything had just gone wrong. He had spared Alistair before. That had been a mistake. Immediately Henrik drew the revolver from his coat and wasted no time in emptying the entire chamber of the gun. All five very large bullets fired right at Alistair just as the man appeared without wasting any time for thought. Perhaps Henrik really did hid such violent tendencies to react so aggressively or, equally likely, Lei had put more influence on Henrik than he would admit. In either case, Henrik was out for blood.
For being back in Germany, this was not the trip back to the "motherland" Henrik had imagined. Of course, none of what had been happening was something he would have imagined happening. Not while he was sane anyways. Something happened involving recruiting someone else but Henrik could not be bothered to care at all about whether or not it was successful. His thoughts were elsewhere. The hotel the group went to for the night seemed familiar. He figured that maybe he had been in the same one when he was younger but couldn't place his finger on whether or not it was just his imagination. It didn't really matter in the end. The next day would have to be more productive. He still had to find Iris. So then Henrik went to sleep because Arch is too busy to write more than this.
Funding is over. I believe PayPal is still open but so far here are some of the numbers to focus on: Kickstarter Stats: $3,845,170 67,226 Backers (aka, Beckers!) PayPal Total: $186,380 as of 10/1 Grand Total: $4,031,550! This has gained over 100,000 comments on the Kickstarter page and is the third highest funded Kickstarter in the site's history! https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/M9calloutthevote Vote for Call's design here. I'm still torn between E, F, and I. Hm...E looks great, F reminds me of Roll and I really like that design but it's because she looks so much like Roll that I'm hesitant to vote for F, and I looks nice to me. ...Hm... Edit: Voted for E.
RPers represent.
I dunno, a girl who returns calls, doesn't call other girls sluts, is actually down-to-earth, and means it when they say "nothing's wrong" is pretty awesome. Oh and I guess I should say something about the oversexualized bits. ...Bad internet. Bad.
'So your wife's in another country, your children are in Hell, and the Scooby Gang decides to spend their time shopping. Remind me again why-' 'Is it possible for me to kill you?' 'Whoa. Now where'd that come from?' 'Stay quiet or I'll make you. I don't need to be reminded about that.' Henrik paced back and forth in his room, tossing the key to his room up in the air and suspending it in place. Lei made no effort to respond to Henrik's threat which only surprised him. There should have been some sort of witty remark or challenge but Lei simply chose to remain silent. Whatever his reasons were, Henrik was glad to have his mind to himself, at least, just for a moment. Without Lei to give his anger some focus, his thoughts returned to his own family. It took most of the night before Henrik was able to sleep. And Iris was indifferent to Alistair because she had better things to worry about than a manchild making pointless threats to her. Wherever they went for the night, Iris would not sleep. She had enough sleep for this RP. Too much actually so she could stand a few sleepless nights.
Not sure how I feel about them using this music. Though it is in Type-0(if only to make you more depressed about the ending). Oh well, at least this game seems to be much happier than Type-0. At least, for now...
Contrary to what Alistair believed, Iris had not been knocked out (because Alistair hits like a girl) but the blow to her gut did cause her to lose her breath. By the time she regained control Alistair had treated her like a human backpack. She had been through enough crap to be treated like this. Luckily for her, she knew how to get out of a situation like this. The reason how she learned would remain secret between herself and Henrik. Once her feet touched the ground she pulled back on the invisible bond between Alistair and herself to slow the man down. She would not be following him in this. 'Are you going to say anything?' 'No. Scooby Gang's got it covered anyways. Besides, aren't you going to tell me to kill this one too?' '...So?' Henrik folded his arms, watching as one of them revealed their weapons in front of the male they were trying to persuade to "tag along". That was easy. Henrik wondered how things would have played out if the current group tried persuading him while he was still back in Norway. The most...unpersuasive of the bunch were the ones Henrik had first met but Hana and the others might have proven better at such a task. Too late now. Henrik did not really have a choice. After Lei forced him to save some of them, just to stick it to the Dark Angels, Henrik hardly had any other option but to stick with them.
It's 1/8-1/2. Not the other way around.
Remember that "new" trailer we got? Someone made a video of what new footage we got from it. Apparently it was only about 10 seconds of new stuff.
Looky, a real trailer: And apparently, I was right. According to an interview(which I forgot where it was) with Tabata, this really is the first cycle. Of course, this means very little to the people who don't understand the story of Type-0. Basically, this game both is and isn't a prequel to Type-0.
'So what's the plan? You're not letting them push you around are you?' 'What do angels have against Nephilim? You've killed some before including your own. My question is why?' 'They're powerful. They can be corrupted. They pose a threat to the mortal world.' 'The same could be said about angels. You're proof of that.' 'But I'm not some half-breed that wasn't meant to exist in the first place.' Henrik clenched his fists. 'Angels are all hypocrites then, aren't they? Spare the ones that betray them, kill their children when they've done nothing, just as long as they can keep up a holier-than-thou image.' He looked out towards the window of his room, cursing himself for deciding to stay even one more night with the group. One side would turn the Earth into a second Hell and tear down the gates of Paradise while the other would go out and kill his children without a second thought and his only option was to side with the latter just because the Dark Angels had acted first against his family. Before going to sleep, Henrik could only wonder how things would have turned out if events happened just a little differently.
Henrik ignored Adam, he had no reason to take his anger out on a mere boy. As for Brandon, his words were actually sensible. This had not been the first time he had demonstrated himself to not be an idiot. For a brief instant, Henrik considered what Brandon had said until Sam spoke up. Henrik laughed for the first time in a long while. How stupid could someone be? Well, it was hard to fully blame the young man. After all, Sam did not know who Henrik was. "Those are pretty strong words for someone with barely enough intelligence to swing a sword around. Out of everyone here, you're the only one here who never ceases to surprise me with your stupidity." Henrik shrugged. "Of course I knew that Temeluchas kept my wife alive for some unknown purpose. Of course I know I could be walking into a trap. I knew from the very instant I found out she was alive. All you've done by stating the obvious is demonstrate that you have the mental capability of a toddler. Then again, I suppose that's giving someone like you too much credit, cabrón. You wouldn't be standing here if I hadn't saved you. Or maybe you've forgotten? I wouldn't be surprised."
New interview from Nomura: Source: Gematsu I love how Nomura doesn't even acknowledge the X1.
Already they were acting as if he was a child when he was the oldest of the bunch. He did not know where Iris was right now, but tracking her down would come down to picking out where the number she called from was registered. That was something he could do en route to Russia. "You realize that we aren't in the Dark Ages anymore, right? Finding her won't be as hard as you make it seem. I'll work from the number she called me from and if she's moved since then it will only take some more digging to catch up with her. I could do this kind of thing in my sleep." Henrik narrowed his eyes towards Hana. "Of course I know my wife doesn't have our children with her. Killing Temeluchas isn't going to be a problem. I'm both smarter and stronger than her." 'Correction. I'm stronger than Lu.' 'And if we run into her, I'm letting you take care of her. Even if my body breaks, I want you to put an end to her.' No answer came from Lei. Henrik could only wonder if he was hesitant in allowing them both to die through the use of their full power. It didn't matter, Lei would listen when the time came. "My children are alive. I don't need your opinion on that. You can spend your time gathering more misfits to die for you. If I die on my own you can be certain I'll be taking one of those Dark Angels with me." He glanced at the others. "And considering the score they've set, that'd be a step ahead of any kind of progress you all have made." Henrik was referring to the death count of the group compared to that of the Dark Angels they had slain. A ratio of 3 to 1, not including those that had died before Henrik had even met them. "I've been to Russia before. I won't get lost. And if any of you are concerned for my well-being then, by all means, come and join me." Of course, he did not expect anyone to follow him. He didn't need them to. Though... 'The more the merrier.' Iris staggered forward as Alistair attacked the man, her only instinct being to yank hard on the bonds that kept them together to keep Alistair from killing the other man. The enemy of her enemy was her friend...or so they said. Of course she had no time to react to the ability Alistair just demonstrated. She had only seen Henrik's telekinesis and had no idea other abilities existed but at the same time, it didn't leave her entirely stunned. Just as Alistair charged Leon, a flash was emitted from the man's pendant.
Wondering why I didn't see this topic earlier. Anyways, Next Gen is my favorite Star Trek like many others and while the new Star Trek movies aren't as great as Next Gen's movies, they're still better than TOS's movies. And I love those too(though nothing matches the hilarity of TOS's animated series). I don't get what's with all the talk about race though. Well, this is the internet and people just can't resist whining about things that have no significance.
Excited for this. Gravity Daze was one of the best Vita games.
