I think it's a combation of both. If u think about it deeply, we're technically fighting over land. Since war is between opposing forces, if one was to lose, they would eventually relinquish their power to their opponent which allows them to go on their land. This kinda goes with human nature because we tend to strive and succeed. So if we see something wrong, we might want to go fix it or in this case, take over some kind of government the initiate what we think is "rite" All in all, I think it's a combination of both...
I dunno, maybe... He mite b the final boss or wat not...

Well since it's a PS2 game, I don c y they shouldn't amplify effects. Even though they 'died' unnecessary and gruesome deaths, I still think it's pretty kool. Maybe not a necessity, but definately something neat to add in.

I dunno. From wat I heard, PS3 makes the PS2 graphics look crappy. I saw a youtube vid comparing FFX-2 played on the PS3 and PS2 and the PS3 graphics looks very blurry. But that mite b a hoax so don trust me...(i've never played an Xbox360 or a PS3 so don ask me)
