Namine agreed with Kairi's question, though she didn't say anything verbally. She turned her head when she saw Roxas's movement, keeping her eyes on him as a thought from earlier entered her mind again. Was he leaving her again? Sora exhaled a breath, looking down at the ground. I guess I'll say it, he thought, though he wasn't happy about that. "There's...another threat," he finally said, glancing up at Kairi beside him. "The three of us need to take care of it, and quickly."
Don't be; now I have nothing to eat! That is ironic. xD
Sora had a hold on Kairi's hand, the silence in the room heavy now. He looked from Roxas to Riku, his facial expression showing his question: Who was going to break the news to the girls? He would, if he had to, but he didn't know if either of his friends had planned on saying it or not.
Nope, I ate all the yummy food already. xD
Namine nodded slightly, turning around and walking in the direction of the living room. She went through the doorway and saw Sora and Kairi next to each other, and Roxas on a separate sofa. She wordlessly sat down next to him, wanting to be close to him because of her uncertainty. What exactly was going on?
I have to find some food as well. xD
Namine felt Riku's light embrace, one that came from a dear friend. She felt her soft smile grow a little bit, glad that she had the opportunity to have this moment with him. After a few seconds, though, she pulled back, looking back up at him. "They're all waiting," she said softly. As glad as she was to see Riku, she was curious as to what was going on here.
Not sure. I'm actually more awake now than I was earlier. xD I think I can last a little while longer. You?
Namine smiled softly, glad to see that Riku shared the same feelings that she did. She took a step towards him and wrapped her arms around him, truly glad to see her old friend again. "It's good to see you too," she said, meaning it with all her heart. Even if she felt like he wasn't here for casual reasons, it was good to see him.
Okie dokie. xD
Namine stopped when Riku called, the girl turning around at the voice. "Mm?" she hummed automatically, looking up at Riku's taller height. She caught the look in his aquamarine eyes, though she didn't know what exactly it meant.
Doesn't matter to me. xD You decide.
Sora glanced at Riku before he turned his gaze towards the doorway, the brunet walking in the direction that Kairi had gone in. This conversation needed to be done, and the sooner the better. There was a threat out there that needed to be taken care of. Namine started forward, seeing that Sora and Kairi already had started towards the living room. She was the furthest away, though, since she had opened the door. She walked past Riku a step, glancing at him as she passed him.
I just got something. xD Right now, in what I'm about to post, Namine can walk past Riku, but Riku calls her name and stops her. When he has her...
Then we'll keep going. xD If either of us come up with something, we can work it into the "goodbye".
Yeah, I didn't really have anything in mind. Unless, did you?
Yuppers. xD And no, I don't care. =) We can keep moving forward.
Sora nodded, seeing Roxas looking to him. "And we should sit down," he added. He could tell that Kairi was starting to feel the shock that had initially kept Namine from speaking, and he didn't want to risk either of them feeling faint from the news.
xD I know how that feels. I have "Hero" by Skillet, and it starts at a very loud part of the chorus.
Namine nodded faintly at the question, her eyes finding the pair that she hadn't seen in what felt like an eternity. "Yeah, I'm doing okay," she said. She was especially better now that Sora and Roxas were home, and their lives were normal. She feared that Riku was going to change that, but she wouldn't let that spoil her reuniting with an old friend.
