Exactly. When games don't have official soundtracks released(happened all the time with older games), fans of said game just rip the audio files out of the game and upload them. It's a shame but sometimes it's the only way you get those songs out on the internet.

From about the :20 mark to the 2:15 mark seems about right. Not exactly at those places but if someone were to loop it, I'd guess they'd start around those bits. First time hearing the song of course so...yeah...

Actually, if you go digging through a game's files and find its music(try doing that with a PS1 disc for instance), the song won't loop if you rip it and play it. My guess is within the game's programming are markers where the song would repeat from. Something like, Intro, marker A, marker B, repeat to marker A, and so on. Of course, on official soundtracks there are songs that have an outro that aren't in the game but the reason it's not played ingame is the same reason why the intro is never in the loop.

As a composer, I know it's a bad idea to include the intro to a song in a loop because it breaks the pace of the song. There are only a handful of songs I can think of that include the intro in the loop. Intros are often slower or faster paced than the rest of the song so you can't just stick it in the middle with no thought like a loop.

Soren blinked at Mali as she poked him shaking his head before turning towards Cal. "Unless you've had more practice than me there aren't any better ideas." He squeezed Cal's hand. "It'll be okay. Just trust me." Soren glanced over at his sister and caught her gaze. She nervously scooted closer to Mali and hung onto her before nodding in approval at her brother.

He swallowed and took a deep breath, hesitant to begin. "Alright...just hang on tight." Once everyone was settled, Soren closed his eyes and tuned out of his surroundings leaving nothing but the picture of their destination in his mind. It was easier said than done as once his eyes were closed all he could hear were the others breathing too loudly. Soon even those sounds faded away as the image in his head became clearer with each second. Mist rose up around his legs and began to spread to the others and envelop them.

The next thing he felt was a sudden drop in his strength as if he had just had the wind knocked out of him. Soren's eyes snapped open only to be nearly blinded by a light he had never seen before. He squinted at the ground, realizing that he had fallen to his knees and heaved heavily only to cough immediately afterwards. The air was fresh, painfully brisk, and it felt like some heavy weight was lifted off his chest. Once his eyes adjusted he noticed that his hands were touching cold real grass. His heart skipped a beat.

    "Soren!"

Just as he was coming to fear the worst, that he had let go, his sister called out to him and ran over to his side. He looked up, seeing the others. That was all that mattered for now. "I'm fine..." He blinked several times but made no effort to stand up. Soren found that just catching his breath was difficult for him. Anna, Cal, Caius, Mali, and himself. That made four--no five--or six...five...? Yes, five that he had just pulled from Hell. If he had the strength for it he would have given himself a pat on the back and jumped for joy.

    "Are you okay?"

Soren looked up at his sister and laughed only to stop because it hurt. "We're out. We're finally out." His eyes shifted towards their surroundings to find that they were surrounded by trees. He had planned for them to be closer to some small town but it seemed his thoughts strayed. They were up north but Soren was thankful it wasn't freezing outside, just a little chilly. "I think...we're in...Ont...Ont-something..." His panted slowed but as he tried to stand Soren only managed to push himself to sit up. "Told you I could do it." He looked up at Cal and laughed again, clutching his chest in pain. He didn't care if it hurt, as long as they were out it didn't matter.

Oh. I get what you mean. Usually that's just a choice made by someone(maybe Yoko Shimomura or whoever decides how long a track should be on a soundtrack). I wouldn't know what the pattern to it is though. You'd be better off asking whoever makes that decision...so you're probably never going to get a very good answer.

I don't really know what you mean. How do they not loop like other soundtracks?

In the original KH games, before the HD Remixes, the music wasn't done with a full orchestra so that makes it pretty easy to loop a track. They're designed specifically so they can be looped. When orchestras and real musicians are involved...well I don't have to explain to you how and why looping is done if you say you've done it.

And as for your question, without really knowing what you mean by how it's different I don't know the answer. It's probably just how it was mixed or composed or you're just hearing things.

"Mmn...five more minutes..." Anna whined but as Cal insisted, got up anyways. She frowned as she sat up in her bed rubbing her eyes before looking up towards the others and getting ready to get out of there. Anna hoped wherever they were going had a soft bed so she could go right back to sleep.

"Don't worry about it." Soren assured Caius as he turned towards Cal. Once more, Mali was missing. "I'll find h-" Soren looked down at the supplies Mali tossed on the floor as she entered the room having been gathering them before any of them had woken up it seemed. At least she wasn't fighting them on this as hard as he expected her to. He sighed out in relief and took a moment to look through some of the things Mali had brought. Once he was satisfied and unable to think of what else they could bring, he pulled out the mirror shard.

"Soooo, where to?" Anna stood beside her brother and eyed the glass in Soren's hand, watching their own reflections.

He focused on the shard and after a moment's concentration, saw a clear picture of where they could go. "I've got it." Soren looked towards the others and motioned for them to come closer to him. "Gather around." He held his hand out towards Cal. "Hang on tight to each other and try really hard not to move around too much." The last thing they needed was to drop someone on the way from Hell to their destination. Soren couldn't imagine what would happen to someone's body if they were let go midtransport. It probably wasn't pleasant.

Henrik sat up once his eyes were open and immediately looked down to his right palm to take a look at the mild itching he felt. Dried blood covered his fingertips and some of that blood had spilled out onto the ground. His coat felt lighter and, having an idea of what happened, looked at Temeluchas to spot that she had stolen his knife. It wasn't too much of a setback from where they already were but he had grown accustomed to having it on his person.

Both his sword and gun were still there. One of which wouldn't be of too much use at the moment.
"Funny thing about obsidian, Lu." Lei spoke up as Henrik had nothing to say to the woman. "You can do all sorts of neat things with it. Of course, it's easiest to carve the damned thing into a cheap knife. That's why you don't see obsidian swords all over the place. Plus, it's hard to get your hands on the special kind when you're not spending all your time wandering hell." Lei seemed to be making no point out of his words and rather than elaborate he went silent instead.

Finding Cal asleep gave him the urge to tease her about it but as soon as she woke his mind wandered off to other, less childish, things. Soren's eyes followed Cal as she vanished to go change. He rubbed his cheek where she had touched him and smiled, content with knowing he was not alone. After standing up Soren stretched out his arms and rolled his shoulders to shake off his want to go back to sleep. Once Caius felt better it would be time for them to get out of there. Just as Soren began to reach into his pocket to pull out the mirror shard the boy rose out of bed slowly.

Raising an eyebrow, Soren pushed on Caius's shoulder to keep him on his bed. "Relax. You shouldn't be up. By the time we all get ready I'm sure you'll be well enough to travel." Even though the boy was adamant about getting up, Soren was glad he was well enough to try. At least this meant they would not have to wait another day to travel.

While I enjoyed BBS more than most of the KH games, I'd say that was the least balanced. Specifically for Terra since he gets the short end of the stick with an awful dodge(though it looks the coolest). The secret bosses are far from being well designed. But, that being said, I'd actually say KH1, Chain of Memories, or KH2 would be the best balanced. KH2 is pretty easy but it doesn't get cheap if you start at a higher difficulty. KH1...well, it's not as easy but again it doesn't feel so cheap if you're on a higher difficulty. Chain of Memories, with all its options with deck building, just leaves room for more strategy if you're going to up the difficulty.

That being said, the KH series overall isn't the best when it comes to balance. All it does in higher difficulties is modify stats. So all you need to do in all cases is either grind more or dodge more.

After a long yawn, Soren sat up in his bed and rubbed his eyes before looking at Cal. He had never expected her to act so bossy last night. The way she looked at him was...well, he couldn't explain it. Just before they slept, Anna asked if Soren liked it, but Soren only denied this. He stretched out his arms and rubbed his shoulder, blinking a few times as he tried to remember a dream he had that night. When the memory didn't come he simply stopped trying figuring that it could not have been anything important. Nothing ever good came out of his dreams anyways. Just a mess of voices he could do without hearing.

He pulled himself out of bed and walked over towards Cal, giving the girl a slight nudge. "Hey." He spoke in a whisper, kneeling beside her. He hoped she wouldn't be upset at him for waking up early as it was a force of habit by now. "You were pretty pushy last night." Soren smiled faintly as he said it. "You're scarier than any demon when you want to be. I...I like that." He turned his attention towards Caius.

"Is he alright?" His eyes went back to Cal, thinking over what had been said last night. She was right to have lost her temper at them. "I'm glad you're here. I was being stupid. Even after all this training I shouldn't be trying to do everything by myself...right? I just want to keep everyone safe. Caius, my sister..." There was a moment's hesitation but he added in, "Even Mali, I guess...And you. That's why I've been trying to get stronger." Once more, Soren looked to Caius. All that training and that's what he had to show for it. A boy near death and no place to go.

"I think I could do it myself. Even if I can't, I wouldn't need to borrow much from anyone else. I'm plenty strong." Even so, Cal had a point. Traveling that great of a distance could still kill Caius. Soren eyed Mali's finger as she continued to prod the boy's injury until he finally lost his patience and grabbed her hand and growled at the girl. "I know she's your sister, Cal, but I'm having a hard time right now keeping myself from breaking her hand." If it wasn't for that, Soren would have gotten violent long ago.

"Go to your bed, sit down, and stay there until we're able to leave." Soren was having none of Mali's shit. Soren stared hard at the blonde, standing close in front of her and looking down at the shorter nephilim. He released Mali's hand and without breaking eye contact with her, spoke to Cal. "I'll stay up and make sure nothing and no one comes crawling in. I'll keep an eye on Caius. He got hurt on my watch."

"Soren, you should get some sleep t-"

"This isn't up for discussion. I'll wake you up if something comes up." Soren looked over at Caius, hoping they had done enough to save the boy. Even if he was injured, they still couldn't stay there for much longer. He wished he could have done something more for him but healing was not one of his powers and no matter how strong he became he knew he would never be unable to undo the damage others might do to harm those around him. He reached into his pocket and pulled out the shard of glass. "It's from the mirror room...I think we could use this to find some place to go to."

Henrik narrowed his eyes at the woman, looking around to stare at their surroundings. Sacrifices? Pagan gods didn't even exist. Lu was going to kill them over nothing. Surely Lucifer couldn't care for sacrifices. Henrik opened his mouth but he was not the one to speak to the Dark Angel.

"Long time, no see." His eyes glanced over at Alistair. "I see you've replaced me with a new running buddy. Angel of Death, huh? I wouldn't say that's too much of a downgrade, but he's hardly-" He sniffed the air and coughed in disgust. "Slutting it up with him, have you? Ugh, I smell him all over you." He rolled his eyes. "Come, Lu, just because you nabbed Henrik's children doesn't mean I hold a grudge against you." He tugged at the bonds of mist like they were a minor annoyance.

"Old friends should stick together." Lei was not the type to bargain, nothing in his voice sounded desperate. Instead, he was entirely calm, even slightly amused, by the situation.

Soren stayed near Cal and Caius as she patched the boy up, avoiding any eye contact with the blonde. He stared over at Mali, still angry over her damn attitude. It took a good deal of self-control to keep himself from picking a fight with her. If Cal hadn't been there, he would have thrown the first punch. Then there was Regulus, the man responsible for this mess. Soren clenched his fist and cursed under his breath. He couldn't even kill the man in that little fight. As he thought over the possibility of going after him, Soren rejected the plan immediately. Even if he did finish off Regulus, that wouldn't undo the damage he had already wrought. The sooner they got out of this place, the better.

"Anna, get some blankets. If it's cold where we're going we can't have anyone freezing. His sister nodded and left Caius's bedside, giving a cold glare to Mali. "We still have to leave tonight, Cal. I don't know what Regulus is up to and we can't stick around to find out." He took out a shard of glass that he had kept with him from the mirror room. He wanted to use it to find a place for them to go to. Soren looked over at Caius, putting the shard away, before aiding Cal with patching him up though he really only followed Cal's lead.

Soren narrowed his eyes at the blonde, staring hard at the girl until she finally changed her mind and decided to make herself useful. He had no idea what her problem was. She was so willing to turn her back on them when it was so apparent that they had to get out. Still, at least she was going to help. He couldn't understand how Cal and Mali could even be related.

Soren hurried into their room, finding Cal and Anna still there. At least they had listened. He didn't say anything at first, quickly moving to Caius's bed to lay the boy on it while Mali gathered supplies. He had no idea what to tell them. "Regulus...got away. I had to bring him back." Soren shook his head and looked at the two girls, lowering his voice. "Caius attacked me too but I don't think it was his fault." He couldn't lie to them. What if Caius lost control again? Then whoever Caius might hurt would be on his hands.

"What?! Are you sure...? Are you okay?"

His sister seemed more worried about their condition than what had happened. Soren nodded for both questions and rubbed his forehead. "I should have been there sooner." He paused before adding, "Mali's getting some things from the operating room." His eyes turned towards Cal, unsure of what more could be said.

Wisps of mist faded from Soren's hands once just he and the wounded Caius remained. Soren breathed deeply and knelt beside the boy as he looked over Caius's injuries. He had no power to heal him. "This wasn't your fault." He assured Caius. "I'm going to get you out of here. We're gonna patch you up and then we're all leaving. Don't worry." He had no idea how to mend injuries, let alone fix anything that looked this bad. Soren shook as he slowly picked up Caius off the stained floor.

He couldn't let him die. Not here, not now. "I-It'll be alright." He said it more for himself than Caius. "Just let me do all the worrying here." He swallowed the knot in his throat and stumbled forth with Caius, slowly picking up his pace as he made his way to the stairway all the while cursing himself for letting any of this happen in the first place. His legs felt heavy but it wasn't out of exhaustion as the fight had done little to tire him. Soren opened his mouth to call out for the others' help but nothing came. As he ascended the stairway his eyes first caught a glimpse of Mali waiting there despite what he had told her to do. There wasn't any time to argue with her for being so stubborn. "Get some supplies from the operating room! I'll bring him back to our room. Hurry up!" Soren barked out in an order. They would worry about what they could do afterwards.

Soren's second blade rematerialized in his hand once Caius was being held back by the demons. The growling only grew behind Soren and as he turned back to see what was going on, he saw Caius already beginning to get overwhelmed. He had overestimated the boy's strength. "Hang in there!" Immediately several demons were severed in two. Soren had hoped he would be able to free Caius before Regulus could attack but the man started to walk away, having some of his own odd-looking demons begin to kill the others that had been summoned earlier. Soren growled lowly and hacked away at the beasts that clawed at Caius.

"Coward!" Soren shouted at Regulus. He had no idea what the man meant by bringing up Cal at all or that "he would do" but it didn't matter. The man deserved to die for doing this to his son but as much as Soren wanted to put all his effort into killing the man, getting Caius out was still more important. Even if the boy had attacked him it wasn't his fault. Without any discrimination, Soren began to cut down the humanoid things Regulus had summoned, not stopping until nothing was left between himself and Caius. The only good demon was a dead demon.

Well I'm glad he still wants to do it. Sometimes you hear actors getting tired of their roles but it doesn't seem Haley has. By saying summer, that's probably just his guess and hardly anything official. I mean, KH3 is going to be really ambitious and it's in very early stages of development. Not to mention the team is also working on II.5 as well. But still, maybe development might go really fast just because next gen is easier to develop for. ...I'd be amazed if recording starts in the summer.

Seeing that his attack had failed, Soren sighed out. He knew he should have put more effort into the first strike. With Regulus's warning, Soren turned to stop Caius's claw with his sword. He raised an eyebrow and looked into the boy's crazed eyes, finding that Caius was not all there. He had lost his temper in a way that Soren only would have if he had never learned to control himself. He was disappointed that his talk with Caius had not prevented this but hardly surprised. It was easy to sense the bloodlust of the boy. "Cal's not going to be happy if I bring you back all bruised up." Soren spoke calmly. "I'd love to talk things out with you, but we don't have time for this." The second blade began to collapse as the mist started to swirl around his hand. He had no reservations about killing Regulus, but Caius was a different story.

He swung his fist, wrapped in the mist, at Caius's gut with blinding speed before stepping away from the boy and swinging his blade at Regulus. A sharp wave of mist followed from the sword, even stronger than the first attack, and sped towards the man before Soren returned his attention to Caius and with a quick motion, flung one of the remaining demons telekinetically towards the boy's back. As strong as he was, he didn't want to fight Caius, Regulus, and the demons at once. Better to let the fodder slow Caius down before Soren would get the opportunity to knock him out.
