This game is coming out August 26th for North America and the 29th for Europe. Didn't think it'd be coming out this year to be honest.

A sleepless night only meant one thing for the boy. Training. Demons were just a waste of his time so most of his effort was spent practicing his control over the mist. Soren had hoped by now he would have gotten better at stopping time but even though he believed he had the strength to do so, his attempts had been met with failure. The one time he thought he had been able to do it might has well have just been a fluke. It would take more than that if they were to leave Hell.

By the time Soren had left the training room...Well, he wasn't sure what had happened since he spent the night away from the others. He just knew he could not stay in that room forever. Unfortunately, trying to get a breath of "fresh air" only meant a slight change of scenery from a training room to the dark and empty hallway that held the same kind of heavy air. He wanted to feel the breeze of the outside world once more but the more he thought over it the more it depressed him. There was still so much to do and still so much that could happen. Mali couldn't be counted on. Leaving Hell would only lead to Lu or someone like her stopping time and dragging them back. And if he could keep himself by being frozen by learning to control that same power, there was no guarantee that he had the strength to fight off whoever came after them. "And if we do get out...what then?" He spoke under his breath as he wandered the halls aimlessly. Even in the best case scenario, Soren could not imagine things going smoothly for them. He knew things would get much worse before they could ever get better.

[/url] Milo stared down his window to watch the busy streets below, checking his watch for the time as he waited for the coming hour. After his last heist several days ago he had been taking the time to clear up loose ends. Getting rid of his coworkers and taking their cut for his own had proven to be more time consuming than he initially anticipated. If it hadn't been for the help of a special friend, he might have had to spend months just trying to track them down. Well, it didn't matter now. They were gone and his was richer because of it.

He moved away from the window and looked down at the pendant hung around his neck. It was a shame that it was worthless to anyone but him. It could have been made to be more practical but his friend had fashioned it just for this sole purpose. He touched his hand to the pentagram and turned it over, feeling its unnatural warmth. If it hadn't been for his curiosity he would have left the country by now in search for a new prize to set his sights on. Instead, now he had to wait in his apartment far atop the city of Chicago. As he went to sit down, he gazed at the empty space before him. It was quite luxurious as Milo had no taste for cheap hotels but, as the complete lack of any personal touch could show, the place had never been meant to house him for more than a few weeks.

It was just supposed to be one job before he had to leave. Just one. He checked his watch one more time and muttered a curse out of impatience as he stood once more and headed back to the window. Milo smirked as he stared down to the building across the street. Its roof had just finished being repaired. To him, there was something so amusing about staying right across the very bank he had just robbed.

The fact that this game exists already implies that the horse is not dead.

Been awhile since anything was posted here but the main characters from Type-0 will be in this game. Machina and Rem. It'll be out in Japan by April 24th.

I don't know if it's just me, but I think I also see Ace(also from Type-0) in one of those screens.

Soren eyed Alistair as he came and went, taking Mali with him for some reason. It was easy to figure out why she was picked. Mali was the only one willing to blindly follow someone like that around. "Your sister doesn't care about us, you know." Soren spoke loud enough for Cal to hear. "She's made it clear that she wants to stick with these people." He stood up and picked the stolen clock off his bed, staring down at the object. Every little speech he had made about sticking together had gone through one ear and out the other. Mali had even been willing to let Caius die at one point. She did not hide the fact that she liked being here. As if she belonged in Hell.

He threw the clock against the wall smashing it into hundreds of pieces. He then walked towards the exit.

    "Soren!"

"I'm done being patient! She's picked her side." Soren shouted back at his sister as he stormed out of the room. He could have stuck around, said why this bothered him so much, but what point was there? In the end, they wouldn't be leaving together. Soren stopped not far from the room and leaned against the wall. He took a deep breath and tried to relax but slowing down did nothing to calm him. "Damn it." He hit his head back against the wall and growled lowly. He ran a hand through this hair and sighed, his imagination filling with thoughts of violence. If Mali really did choose the angels over them, what then? He didn't like her, but she was still Cal's sister, she was still one of them. Running away would never make them safe, fighting was the only option, and if they had to fight... It was either Mali or them. The more he thought about it the worse the situation became in his head. "God damn it..." He slid down against the wall and held his head in his hands, mulling over what would become of them. All of them.

...Meanwhile Henrik and Iris just went back to sleep.

Aero in Chain of Memories was immensely useful because it was the only magic attack that could damage everything reliably. That was really the only time it was that useful as an offensive spell. In BBS there are better area of effect spells than Aero. In KH1, Aero is a lifesaver and it easily makes the difference between a tough boss battle and...well, an easy one.

Aero is almost rendered useless by Reflect but Reflect does only last for a short while(but I guess that's all anyone ever needs). So defensive Aero is superior by far because it's basically useless outside of Chain of Memories where there are better(and cooler) spells.

    Keep it appropriate? Damn.

Quidditch would be interesting to see as an Olympic sport. Chess maybe? I mean, if video games are starting to be considered sports(though non-Olympic) then why not Chess?

Once the praying was done Henrik and Iris left to head to bed. As his wife got herself situated Henrik turned to look over his shoulder, feeling as if someone was watching them. Nothing. When he turned around the bed he had just been standing next to, along with Iris, had vanished. In its place now stood an empty crib. Henrik rubbed his eyes and called out mentally to Araquiel to stop playing games. No response came from the angel. This must have been some kind of sick joke. Henrik blinked trying to will the apparition to leave his sight but when he opened his eyes the nightmare only worsened. Blood began to drip down its sides.

Henrik fell to his knees, feeling as if he had just lost most of his blood. His head was spinning and as he looked up from the floor, the bed had returned with Iris kneeling by his side speaking to him in an attempt to snap him out of his daze. Henrik took a deep breath and nodded slowly at Iris as he lacked the concentration to tell her he was alright. Henrik eyed his hands, the ashen color of his damaged skin had begun to spread. Once he caught his breath he took a moment to reassure Iris that he was not doing as badly as she feared but only failed to convince her. After speaking to her about what had just happened, the two soon fell asleep.

Prayer? That's cute. Are we going to start singing too?

    Shut it.

I don't see you or wifey praying. So you two must be with me on this.

Pray? With what faith? Henrik's eyes met with Iris's for a moment as thought back to everything they had already been through. With all that he knew now, why would he put his faith in some higher power to protect them? As much as he hated Araquiel, the angel had done the best to be honest with him no matter how cold or brutal were the truths he spoke. Both Soren and Anna were out of their reach and no higher power had been there to stop their abduction or bring them back from perdition. Even if his children did survive what was to come Araquiel was quick to remind him that they were nephilim who had grown up in Hell. Whether they grew up good or not, Heaven would only see them as threats needing to be exterminated. He couldn't bring himself to care about the damage Araquiel's constant possessions and the mist had done to his body, only the thought that his children would be on the losing side of the conflict no matter who won.

Once more Henrik looked over at his wife. Even if he hated both sides for dragging his family into this mess, there was still one person he had yet to lose. If muttering some damn prayer meant improving their chances to keep them--to keep her--alive, then he had no other choice than to bring himself to do it.
"Pater, da mihi, qui conantur, ut spiritus et tutela contra me. Ut tegere sim defensus est."

Hey look! It's the actual alpha(not exactly the same alpha us Westerners would call an alpha since this is earlier than what we'd call an alpha) footage played by Inafune!

So there's a dash and air dash. Both of which are used to steal weapons/abilities from stunned enemies. Shot, dash, grab. So happy this is taking one of the best elements of Megaman X. Dashing was so much better than sliding. And now it serves for another use! It was only until X8 that dashing in the air became a standard. Now we get to start with it here! So excited.

Adding onto what Hayato said, it's silly to call Terra gullible. Eraqus let Xehanort come back and push what kind of Mark of Mastery Exam Terra and Aqua would have despite the fact that he went all darkside on his face years ago. The man Terra saw as his father put his trust into Xehanort. Why wouldn't Terra do the same?

Anyways, despite everything that happened to Terra and everything he did, I think he's worthy by now to be called a Keyblade Master by the others. In terms of skill, power, and ability, he is a Keyblade Master. He defeated both Eraqus and Master Xehanort single-handedly and preformed the right of succession(or whatever it's called) to Riku which was something only Keyblade Masters are supposed to be able to do.

To demonstrate the difference here between Terra and someone like Sora, plenty of people have touched Sora's keyblade but have not gained a keyblade as a result. Kairi touched Aqua's keyblade and even without any official business, Kairi became a keyblade wielder. By this logic, if Sora had been a keyblade master, everyone who ever touched his keyblade, or at least Jack Sparrow should have a keyblade. Going off of this, Terra was able to successfully pass on the keyblade to Riku. So he definitely has what it takes to be a Keyblade Master and would have passed that exam if Xehanort had not been around.

It doesn't help Terra's case that Aqua only showed doubt to Terra and pushed him throughout BBS instead of being supportive like Sora had been for Riku. Ven would have been able to get through to Terra but, unfortunately, Xehanort did everything he could to keep anyone from reaching through to Terra. Xehanort's plot got Eraqus to attack Ven, which lead to Terra having a hand in Eraqus's death. That only widened the gap between Terra and Aqua.

To be honest, the only good thing she really did for Terra was keep Xehanort from plunging Terranort into darkness...which didn't work for long.

tl;dr: Blame Aqua for not being a very good friend and Xehanort for getting in the way of Ven and Terra's bromance.

    Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock.

The longer he stared the longer each second felt. Soren narrowed his eyes at the clock and folded his arms across his chest.

    Tick.

He took in a deep breath. This had not been as easy to get the hang of as teleporting was.

    Tock.

Soren growled in frustration. Two days of trying had been enough for him. Instead spending his time in the training room he had been wasting effort for a whole lot of nothing. He picked up the clock ready to throw it against the wall. He stopped listened closer for something he began to hear. Or, rather, what he didn't hear. The clock had stopped ticking. Soren turned it over curiously, checking to see if he had done something to break it. Nothing seemed wrong with it. Just as he began to wonder about taking it apart the clock began working again. He stared at the object in confusion as he turned it over in his hands absentmindedly.

"Where did you get that anyways?" The bed shifted as his sister sat beside him, looking at what he held. "Is it a present for-"

"No." Soren sighed. "I stole it from somewhere. Easier to know if it's working when I have something like this."

"When what's working?" Anna raised her eyebrow. Her brother had been spending more time in their room recently but he was just as detached as ever.

"Danel could stop time. Lu can too. I need to be able to do the same." Soren put the clock down and placed a hand to his forehead. "Sometimes I wonder if we'll never be safe until every angel is dead."

Anna frowned. "I'm sure not all of them are bad."

    "Name one that isn't."

Anna looked down and swung her legs as she tried to think of an answer. "Well...at least one of our parents is an angel."

"Who's to say they aren't as bad as Regulus?" He looked over at his sister. She kept her eyes to the floor, sighing heavily, unable to give him any kind of response. The last thing he wanted to do was get her depressed over something like this but being soft would only lead to disappointment and could even get them killed.
"Don't worry. One way or another, we're leaving this place."

Because Arch had been sick for a week and had spent most of his free time sleeping or drugged up, Henrik and the missus went to sleep with nothing else to add. At least they were married. So they totally wouldn't be looked down upon by a bunch of nuns.

    New colors

Considering that humans can't see most of the light spectrum, there's billions upon billions of colors we can't see. Problem solved. Want a new color? Try gamma radiation.

Good question. I've been RPing around here longer than everyone most people so...

Years ago the only people who were really any good at writing/RPing made longer posts than others. Short posts often had little of value in an RP and could be easily skipped over because, again, it wasn't important. Making a longer post usually means painting a picture with your words to make the RP immersive. Short posts just don't have that kind of quality but they do allow for quicker interaction between characters.

Sometimes you don't need more than five lines to respond to another RPer because you're really just adding useless fluff, which I see all the time, and when you're reading a long post it can be easy to miss or forget the message that the RPer is trying to convey.

All that being said, long posts are requested by more advanced RPers because we don't want to end up going back to the dark ages where nearly all posts were one-liners and we were taken less seriously than the Spamzone.

Yes, he had all but forgotten about the two talking demons Regulus had brought with him and in his haste had neglected to watch his back. Slaughtering demons had given him little real experience in battle but even when he was pushed down, wounded and bloody he had not lost the smug look on his face. He still had been recovering and though he could admit now that he had been expecting greater results it was hardly a failure. Being this way, not human nor angel, allowed him to learn many times faster. Regulus just did not understand what he meant by using him as a stepping stone.

The intention had never been to kill him. Though he did wish to do so if Caius could not do it himself, Soren only wanted to grow stronger and gain more experience. Soren spat in one of the demon's faces. "Lucifer wouldn't be happy if you killed the strongest nephilim around here." Soren rolled his eyes and looked over at one of his wounds. They weren't too deep but they looked worse than they really were. Pain wasn't an issue nor was it new to him, as he had been doing this for a long time now, but the complaints he would receive from his sister was something he was not looking forward to.

Mist wrapped around the boy's body and vanished as quickly as it came leaving the demons threatening a harmless floor. Soren was standing close to the stairway now, checking a wound on his leg that was deeper than the other scratches he had received. "Soon you won't have anything else to hide behind." Soren's eyes glanced over towards the heap of dead demons. He was backing off for now, but at least he was not the one with a mess to clean up. Soren turned his back on Regulus and casually waved without showing absolutely no signs of weakness. Once he was upstairs and out of sight though, Soren walked with a slight limp and cursed under his breath at his own carelessness. Something Regulus had said stuck with him. He would have told the man that no, he placed little value in his own life. Touching his bloodied arm, Soren sighed as he walked back to the nephilim's room.
