DAY 77 Sunday, December 8th, 2013 "Henrik?" "Huh? What?" Henrik suddenly stirred and opened his eyes, looking up at Iris before quickly checking to make sure Mali had not just up and vanished. The girl was still there and looked so much less violent when she was sleeping. "I must have dosed off." "More like passed out." Henrik rubbed his cheek feeling a stinging sensation coming from it. "Did you hit me?" "You wouldn't wake up. So..." She shrugged. Sitting up in his chair, Henrik reached to scratch his arm once more but was soon stopped by Iris grabbing his hand. She pulled up his sleeve to reveal stained bandages that must have been wrapped while he was asleep. She sighed and shook her head at him. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to worry you." "It seems like that's all I can do lately." "You don't have to wait around here. This girl's not going to be in a good mood when she wakes up." He looked up at Iris who refused to move from her spot. "It'll be alright. Maybe having this girl here might bring us one step closer to getting our children back." He was too tired to think of a logical series of events that would lead to that outcome but had to believe in something. Iris was unconvinced but nodded and left.

Henrik walked over towards the girl and knelt beside the unconscious blonde. Araquiel continued to pressure him into finishing her off and the thought even crossed his mind yet he refused to follow through with it. Mali was just a misguided child. Though he was sure to regret helping her, he decided to give it a shot and help the girl out. Rather than let her just bleed out on the floor, Henrik picked her up, tended to her wounds, and left her in a bed. He would then watch over her to make sure she didn't try anything. Henrik wanted to sleep, he was severely tired, but decided that could wait. Maybe the next day could be spent sleeping. Not much detail was left because this was a rushed post. Soren rubbed his chest, pretending as if Cal's jab had hurt him. "It wouldn't tire me out. Not like last time." It was rather stupid of him to travel so far his first time but he had improved since then. He wanted to show her what he could do so she didn't need to worry anymore. Well, that wasn't his only reason. He laughed as he watched Cal react nervously to him. "Feels like just yesterday we were at each others' throats." Soren leaned forward to kiss her cheek. "Tomorrow then. With a little sleep I could take us anywhere." He touched her shoulder and smiled, lingering just a moment before heading back inside to sleep.

I never beat this game. I have it but whenever I tried saving the file got corrupted for some reason. Tried cleaning the disc, the memory card was good for other games, but there might have been some scratches on it...I don't know. It's been awhile since I've played. I remember getting moderately far. I think Toan was my favorite character but there wasn't really any character development for him because he's a silent protagonist. So I don't have much reason other than the fact that he was the main character and I liked his design. I liked Xiao too. This game and Dark Cloud 2(or Chronicle for some) really need HD remakes. And we need Dark Cloud 3.
Conan is the best ever. Unfortunately it seems like you didn't discover him in at his prime. Back when he still had the Walker Lever...
Henrik had been standing back, watching the fight as he tried to gather his strength. The girl was being a little hasty in saying he'd be dead soon. Henrik scratched his arm, wincing as he caused it to bleed again, while he tried to think of some way to help Brandon without draining too much of his own strength. Using the mist was out of the question and caging the girl in stone had proven to be ineffective. He looked down at the trickling blood on his arm remembering he still had one handy trick up his sleeve. Blood bullets. Well, Araquiel did not approve of that name but Henrik couldn't be bothered to actually name attacks. That was just stupid. Henrik used his telekinesis to levitate drops of blood off his arm. Blood continued to gather until there was just four small globules floating about. Suddenly they rapidly accelerated towards Mali, the crimson blurs homing in on the girl at blinding speed.

Once they were out in the hall Soren looked around to make sure they were alone. The demon was nowhere in sight and that was probably not such a bad thing. Going after the demon right now was not the smartest idea and would serve little point. "I saw a demon leave the classroom before you barged in." Soren sighed out. "But it seems like Caius is alright so I won't make a big deal out of it right now. I don't want to go off hunting down a demon or go training for a few days to fight it." He didn't like the thought of just letting a demon get away with whatever it did but the damage was done and nobody was seriously injured. So there wasn't any rush. "I didn't drag you out here to talk about that." Soren took in a deep breath and scratched the back of his head. "I'm...no we..." He crossed his arms and looked away from Cal as he tried to form his next words. It was so much easier when he was training. He could just push all his thoughts to the back of his mind but when he slowed down to process everything it just overwhelmed him. There was too much to say for him to put it in any way that made sense. "I...I don't want to be soft." Soren finally said. "They'd find some kind of weakness and poke at it until we do exactly what they want. But I can't just..." He trailed off and bit his lower lip. It was coming out all wrong. "I'm soft for you. I mean--I care about you. The only reason I got this strong was to protect everyone else but they'd use that against us." Soren rubbed his forehead in frustration. "Sometimes I feel like the only way out of here is by becoming just as cold as they are but I just can't--I won't--turn into someone like Lucifer, Regulus, or Lu just to beat them." Soren laughed quietly and leaned back against the wall, feeling stupid about his rambling. He shook his head and closed his eyes. "I guess, my point is, I've been thinking too much. I know you said I don't have to handle this alone but I wish I could. You don't deserve to be involved in all this Hell business. No one does." He ran a hand through his hair and looked at Cal as he smiled slightly. He had enough of all that depressing talk and it felt good just to put it out in the open. "So um...I've gotten really good at teleporting." Soren suddenly changed subjects. "Do you want a quick trip? I promise we'll be back before anyone notices."

Soren looked back towards the door once more. It couldn't have been nothing. Not when a demon was involved. Soren sighed out and decided to bring it up another time, maybe soon if he got the chance to kill that demon. "Yeah...I bet she is." He nodded in agreement as they walked back to the room. As expected, Anna jumped off her bed an ran over towards them with concern clear on her face. "I heard shouting. Is everything alright?" "Yeah. Caius tripped." He spoke lightly clearly not believing what Cal had said. "Um..." Anna blinked and looked at Caius. "At least you didn't hit your head. I'm sure Soren's done that a few times. It's why he's so grumpy." She stepped closer to ruffle the boy's hair. She would have done that to her brother but she knew how much it annoyed him when she did it. Soren rolled his eyes, choosing not to acknowledge his sister's teasing, and tugged on Cal's arm. "Can we talk?" He spoke lowly. "Outside."

Soren nodded slowly at Cal remembering she had told him this before. It was difficult to accept that they could help too, that it wasn't just him willing to fight. He smiled and rubbed his cheek after she kissed him, the second time now, before she got up. She was right, getting himself killed was not going to do them any good. Before he could speak to her once more she left leaving him to follow after her. Cal vanished into the classroom after having seen someone else walk out. As Soren went after her he paused, looking over at who was walking away. The scent was all too obvious for him. Demon. Whatever Manitos was doing could not have been any good. He entered in behind Cal to find Caius there. "What happened!?" Soren looked off to where the demon had vanished to. Whatever it was, it was cause for concern with how Cal was acting.

Soren eyed the blonde as she stared sadly at him. The best he could do to comfort her was promise to do his best to bring Mali back. If that failed, he could at least be certain he would be able to get them out of Hell. It wasn't fair on her or any of them but spending time brooding was just time wasted. He had to be strong. They had to be strong. He looked down at the sandwich wondering when half of it had already disappeared. Soren figured he must have been more hungry than he thought. As he absentmindedly continued to eat Cal spoke up telling him that she missed spending time with him. To this Soren looked away and scratched his cheek. "I'm sorry. I've missed you too. A lot more than I'd admit to anyone else." Soren looked back at Cal. Considering everything that had happened with Mali, he felt something needed to be said. Not about her but-- "I won't leave you. You, Anna, and Caius are all I have. We're going to get out of here." He faintly smiled. "I wouldn't lie to you. Unless it was about being hungry." Soren glanced down at his empty hand where the sandwich had once been. He looked Cal in the eye. "I'll make everything alright. I promise."

For some reason when Soren read Cal's speech text it was rainbowy but he decided to ignore that because he figured it must have been a girl thing. It hadn't been the first time she had came to see him in there but nonetheless he tried to fix himself up nervously when she walked over to him. Cal made an attempt to straighten out his hair causing Soren to put his hand over it when she was done out of embarrassment. "I'm alright. I can take a break when everyone's out of here." He watched as she pulled out some sandwiches and offered to eat with him. "I'm not hun-" His stomach growled. Betrayed by his own body, Soren gave up and sat down to eat. "I..." He wanted to tell her everything he had been thinking, from the situation with Mali to--well--everything else. "I don't think Mali's going to come back to us. Not even for you." The thought of a sister turning her back on her only sibling disturbed him. He would never leave Anna behind and he knew she would never leave him. "I could try to drag her back but she'd only side with Lu. If we try leaving again there's nothing stopping her from trying to get in our way and..." He swallowed. "I know she's your sister. I'll do whatever it takes so you don't have to lose her but I'm not sure I can even do anything about it in the end." Soren sighed and looked down. "I've spent so long trying to become strong and yet I'm terrified of losing anyone. Even Mali."

Soren glanced down at his bloodied hands and took in a deep breath. Spending both night and day in the training room had done more good than he initially thought it would. It seemed like he still had room to grow in the depths of Hell. With a short nap whenever he grew too tired to stand he managed to keep from overexerting himself and losing his powers again. Drops of blood gathered at his knuckles before levitating off the already healed skin and falling to the ground. He drew the mirror shard from his pocket. Mali had not returned and he was beginning to wonder if she had been killed. In moments an image appeared. Mali was in an old--damaged--building of some kind with two other people. They seemed to be fighting. One of them was a boy and another was an older man. Well, the man wasn't old but...he seemed weak. Soren blinked, wondering who the man was. He seemed familiar somehow...and the more Soren looked at him, the more he saw a little resemblance between himself and the man. He shook it off and returned his attention to Mali. She had better control over the mist than he thought. Not as good as me. Soren smirked but even his lighthearted thought quickly turned dark. She was fighting angels under Lu's command no doubt. That only meant he would have to fight Mali if she ever tried stopping them from running. All he wanted was for them, the nephilim, to stay together. He would fight Lucifer himself it it meant keeping his promise but if Mali still chose to abandon them... They were his family and by letting everything come to this made it his fault. "If I can't keep us together how can I protect them?"

Henrik had not expected Mali to come bursting back inside the church anytime soon...but she did seem like the type to not give up. The short burst of mist she shot out of her hand was easily sidestepped by Henrik though he was unsure if she was really aiming at him. It seemed to be more of a display of power than anything. He drew his sword but did not attempt to fight the eager child just yet. Henrik tightened his grip on Nakah to regain the feeling of his arm. Where's Brandon? I'm not going to get myself killed just because I chose to fight at my worst. True, he had the power to fight this girl and more than enough to beat her down, but that mattered little when he had trouble keeping himself standing still. "That barrier wasn't for me to hide behind. It was to keep you from getting yourself killed." He eyed the pillars of mist Mali had risen in some vain attempt at making herself seem powerful. Despite how she looked and how vicious she seemed, her actions only showed how childish she really was. "Cute." Henrik plainly stated as he gestured to the girl's display. "But you're wasting your strength by making a show of this." Araquiel scratched at the back of his mind to remind him to not get them killed. All he had to do was stall until Brandon came running in. Nephilim or not, she couldn't fight them both.

It isn't new. I remember seeing this interview live several days ago. Anderson is great. I really don't think there's anything I could add that Anderson didn't already say better.
New gameplay trailer. It's still looking nice.
Unfortunately for you, Niki isn't going to come back. Ever. Unless you mean the actress...in which case it might be possible.
Somewhere around 24 hours for me. I went at...a moderate pace. I don't like grinding out points for Dream Eaters' abilities. Even in Birth by Sleep grinding wasn't this bad. I don't really see much incentive to get 100% honestly. I should probably get around to actually trying to beat Julius though.
There will be an entirely new cast. There's a very good possibility for other existing characters to return but it will focus on new characters. Presumably this will be on the aftermath of: Spoiler Claire showing the world that people with powers exist. So it might be a few years after that event.
Source: Siliconera So it's a free-to-play iOS and Android game. Unfortunate but apparently the game features several composers who have worked on the Mana series before. The main highlight of which is Hiroki Kikuta who worked on Secret of Mana's godly soundtrack. Oh and Yoko Shimomura, Kenji Ito, and Tsuyoshi Sekito are also working on the soundtrack. I can't find a good source for this so take it with a grain of salt. No info on a release outside of Japan. Maybe this game might not be too bad. I don't like the character design but the game looks...not terrible.
It disturbs me to no end that there's so many comments about killing Godzilla. Atom Bombs don't do shit against Godzilla. Why would bombs or missiles with millions of times less firepower be able to kill him? And then there are the Pacific Rim fans. Godzilla would eat Jaegers for breakfast and still be hungry for Japan. That being said, all the excite. All of it.
Soren blinked as he watched Joslyn break down in front of them despite Caius's refusal to listen to him. Soon the weeping angel was off running away back to her room. It was strange to see an angel act that way after everything he had seen by now. It almost made him feel sorry for her. He looked towards Caius, giving a disappointed glance, before turning around and walking away. He did not feel like going back to the room to sleep, instead he wanted to train. Sleep was not going to do him any good.
