I've always wondered about that. Maybe Sora didn't actually have a better name for the raft. Yes, there's Excalibur already written out to imply it might have been Sora's real choice but I think he just wanted to be the one to name the raft even if he didn't have a better name. So regardless of the outcome, the raft gets named Highwind because Sora realizes his name wasn't better than Riku's.

Or it's just a coincidence that the Gummi Ship is named Highwind because it wasn't Sora's ship to begin with. Why would Mickey's ship be named by Sora? The only reason it happens in the game is ...well, for the sake of customization I guess but the point still stands, it's not Sora's ship. It's Mickey's. Mickey is probably the one who named it. Guess Highwind is a pretty popular name. (Isn't that right Cid?)

"You lost once to two angels. One of which is hardly in fighting condition and other..." Henrik didn't wish to insult Brandon. He was a nice kid who could hold his own on a fight but given Brandon's abilities--"is predictable. You already saw what abilities he had before and some of what I could do and still you lost. Face it, kid. You're not as strong as you think you are."

Henrik slowly stood up to walk after Mali and that was when the others started barging in, having come back from their trip. Took them long enough. Henrik laughed realizing there was nothing he needed to do to keep the girl from causing trouble. "Well now that you're hopelessly outmatched, do you mind getting back in bed and sleeping? Or am I going to have to call the others to put you in a corner? You're not even a year old. I wouldn't be out of line by punishing you like a child."


Soren nodded in agreement with Cal, though slightly disappointed she refused to go with him right then and there, he understood what she was trying to say. Teleporting from place to place was different than going from Hell to above. Even now he remembered how different it felt as if Hell itself was trying to keep them down there by clinging on with everything it had. Then again, Hell was meant to keep things in. It wasn't supposed to be easy to get out. "I'm sure I could make the trip without exerting myself like last time. It's not teleporting I'm worried about."

He stared at the folding wall as Cal changed. "Danel was able to stop time. Even if we were at full strength nothing could have stopped him." Soren clenched his fists. He would not be that powerless again. "If something like that happens again, I think...I think I could do something about it this time around."

When she started to talk about people they had seen in the mirror, his first thoughts were of Mali and the man she had been with. It definitely was not the same man Cal had brought up but his thoughts continued to linger. Even if Mali changed sides he did not want to give up on her so easily. He was angry but she was still one of them even if she didn't want to be. It was until Cal mentioned angels that she had Soren willing to go along with what she said.

"Some guy she tried to kill? Wouldn't he hold a grudge against our kind?" He did not want to believe that there were angels they could trust but after the recent run-in with that girl angel who cried so genuinely...he was willing to accept the possibility that not all of them were deserving of an obsidian knife to the throat. Why the throat? It seemed like a good place to stab. "You're right, we can't go out in the open but," Soren stared at Cal, pausing for a long moment as his eyes fixed on her's. He looked away, remembering he had something to say. "I-I don't know. I'll talk to Anna about it tomorrow." Soren looked over towards his sister's bed to find that she was still asleep and sprawled out on her bed. Soren let out an amused chuckle and turned back to Cal. "I'm glad that you don't sleep like that."

Henrik blinked, watching as Mali jumped up and readied herself to fight yet again despite her injuries. He leaned back in his chair and folded his arms, looking up at the girl. "Admirable. Stubborn. And pointless." Henrik shook his head. "Sit down. You're in no condition to fight." He gestured towards the bed.

"Relax. I did my best patching you up last night and I don't want you ruining my poor job of it." Henrik stared at Mali, keeping still so she wouldn't mistake any movement for hostility. He was sick and she was injured but if he had to...well, they couldn't do too much damage in their condition. It would be more like a cripple fight than an epic battle.


"Sorry. I didn't mean to startle you." Soren pulled his hand away from Cal's shoulder now that she was awake. "I just wanted to do something." He scratched the back of his head staring at Cal as he laughed nervously. "I guess I was a little too eager. I wanted to make up for being gone all the time."

Your question is pointless since even your grandchildren might not be alive to play KH3.

But seriously, just wait a little while. KH3D was released in North America three months after it was in Japan. Compared to Birth by Sleep's eight month wait it shows that Square's gotten a little better at localizing Kingdom Hearts games. Three months or less seems to be like a good estimate to wait in between Japan's release and everyone else's. Besides, you'll run into loads of spoilers pretty easily if you start watching gameplay videos. If that doesn't bother you, then go ahead and watch everything you can when it comes out.

Soren sat up feeling much better after a good rest. He hadn't realized how tired he had been until now. His bed was definitely more comfortable than the floor. After getting out of bed and stretching Soren flattened out his messy hair with his hand. First he went towards Anna's bed planning on waking her but as he reached for the girl she stirred and turned on her other side mumbling, "five more minutes". Soren raised an eyebrow and pulled his hand back deciding it was better not to disturb his sister.

Walking over towards Cal's side Soren moved his hand towards her shoulder, hesitating for a moment. It felt like it had been forever since he had last woken her up himself. "Hey sleepy." Soren spoke quietly as he sat on the edge of Cal's bed, looking down at the blonde as he placed his hand on her shoulder. "Get ready." Soren added without giving a reason to Cal. It was early but he didn't want to wait until the last minute to do this.
