There'll be a beta this summer and updates on the game in June. Also, here's two new screenshots! Source: Gematsu
Here's hoping for racist colored Rangers again. Black Ranger better be a black guy. Seriously though, if there isn't a sixth Ranger by the end of the movie or in some kind of post-credits scene it won't deserve to have the Power Ranger name tacked onto it.
Tobey Maguire did a better job at being Peter Parker than Andrew(excluding Spider-Man 3 obviously but that wasn't Tobey's fault). But Andrew does a better Spider-Man. That's about as far as my opinion goes.
Character trailer just came out today. It just confirms something we already knew. Jordi's awesome.
Mexicans don't celebrate Cinco de Mayo.
I haven't found a current song better than Stairway to Heaven for 12 string. ...But I haven't tried looking very hard. I was inspired by progressive metal band Animals As Leaders to pick up an 8 string but I'm not really a prog metal player myself...and I'm not as good as their guitarists. I use mine for more..."post rock" style things. I just find that doing rhythm or bass notes if I play classical style are more meaningful than if I tried the same thing an octave up like on a 6 string. Of course, whenever I get the time to use my amp I spend some time chugging just because that drop-tuned E(standard tuning for an 8 string is actually F#, B, E, A, D, G, B, E) is so much more br00tal than a 6 string's low E.
12 string guitars don't add much musically compared to that of a 6 string. They give a fuller sound for chords but that's really the full extent of their use. Also, how dare you bring up 12 string guitars without mentioning the most famous example of one being used! On a more serious note, extended range guitars are far more interesting imo. I play an 8 string guitar(low B and drop-tuned E) and there's just things you can do with it that just aren't possible on 6 strings. Anyways, I used to be in love with the thought of 12 strings...but they're more of a novelty than anything mostly because they don't actually extend your range.
Username: Aiden Pearce Full Name: Rigel Kent Age/Appearance: 28 Background/Personality: His family had left the safety of their town to search for a better refuge when he was young. Only he survived. He too would have soon met their fate if he had not been found by a man who took him in. What he learned from this man was not only how to survive but how to thrive in a world like this. So, when the man died, Rigel took up his business. Dealing in parts of the Scares for both the black market and the relentless(and entirely hopeless) search for a cure or immunization of the virus. Weapons: -A semi-automatic rifle with a multipurpose scope attached. -A machete. -A shotgun. Other: His job keeps him out of the city most of the time. Also, he's morally ambiguous.
Honestly, I thought the rumor was true the entire time. It wasn't until I found out that the dig was going to happen that I learned that it may not be true. But now that it is...well what's there to say about it? It's ridiculous.
You're referring to the entire Mega Man franchise when it comes stealing moves/attacks from enemies. Kingdom Hearts has already done similar things to this as you mentioned like Enemy Cards in CoM and D-Links in BBS. Of course you're not directly stealing special moves from characters but it's not a stretch to say Sora could draw on the power of friendship(because that's a legit power in the KH universe) to use powers from his friends from other worlds. I'd imagine that something like this is a very real possibility considering everything we've seen so far.
Why aren't there replies here? This is something really cool. Probably even worth getting stickied. I only played around with one character sheet but...well, it's great. Super easy to sign up, you can make really detailed characters, and you can even use more than one picture per character. Grouping them is a great feature too.
Kinda funny that there wasn't a thread about this when it first emerged. Don't need to watch the videos because I've seen dozens of videos about this. I wouldn't want to play a racing game but it would be awesome if an open-world game used this physics engine. Of course, said game would probably be only on PCs...and I don't have anything powerful enough to run something like this. Anyways, wrecking cars has never been so beautiful.
You guys really suck. Learn to draw super good like me. Spoiler
Was actually an easy fight. I liked the whole stage layout of the fight and how the boss looks but I didn't feel anything special considering the boss wasn't that special itself...it was just a stronger Dream Eater and nothing more.
I'm not a fan of multiplayer but maybe Watch Dogs will change my mind. New multiplayer trailer: Edit: Um... Well that's awesome. Surprising that there was so much news for this game today.
I was working on a super dark survival horror RP. I still might make it but I would like to see an RP like that around. I'd also like to see an RP set in space. Something like Star Trek. But I guess that would never work out.
11 Fighting like this was slow and dull work but Soren understood the importance of holding back so much when fighting the demons. The only way they could survive fighting Lucifer was if they weren't completely drained and approached him with a clear head. Soren made no movement that was not necessary, each strike was planned out seconds in advance so that the demons were struck down in a single blow. Clearing a path needed to be as effortless as possible. Soren breathed out slowly watching as his father caught up with him once more. They had already begun to lose sight of the other in the midst of battle. Once more thoughts of Cal made their way to his head. He hoped she would be alright although he knew she would scold him for worrying so. She was strong and could hold her own. Shaking off his worried thoughts Soren continued to cleave his way through the demons towards the source of both great evil and power emanating from Lucifer. For what felt like hours they slowly progressed, gaining nicks and scratches along the way whenever they let their guard down for an instant to make sure they had not been separated from each other. Soren began to wonder where all these demons were kept. He was sure he had slain a large number during his time in hell, so much so that he could have never imagined there still being a legion such as this right under his nose. With each demon slain Lucifer's scent only grew stronger until it was threatening to overwhelm them. How could such a force even be considered an angel? Still, there was no time for doubt. He and his father would have to fight the King of Hell themselves until either help arrived or, by some miracle, they slew the Lightbringer together. "Lucifer!" Soren called out, knowing the Dark Angel could hear him. "No more hiding behind your pets!" Henrik shouted as he stood alongside Soren.

Maybe it's just the lighting in my room(it's a bit dark) but I don't see a purple pixel.
Usually if something is well over a year old, I don't bother with hiding spoilers unless someone else brings up a conversation/topic explicitly stating what they have not reached in a particular series and say they don't want to be spoiled. Like around here on KHV, I wouldn't bother putting spoiler tags on something like "Xehanort possesses Terra at the end of BBS" or "Aerith dies in FFVII". Likewise, I'd never hide any spoilers regarding to anything related to Harry Potter(just bringing it up because it was brought up) just because the source material is pretty old by now. Of course, if there's something like a weekly TV series or comic/manga I don't believe people should be posting spoilers of said media immediately after watching it. Not everyone can watch or read things as soon as they're released so it's pretty...jerk-like to be posting spoilers like that without a warning. All that being said, if you know someone hasn't caught up on a series and that someone hates spoilers and you choose to talk to that person about said series then they should avoid spoilers. Personally, I like spoilers. Bring me all the spoilers.
Not sure if sarcasm but Dragon's Dogma is one of the best ARPGs to come about in a good while. Fact.* *May or may not be an opinion. Anyways, I don't want Capcom making more Mega Man games without Inafune unless it's a reboot of the series. There were several ways they could have advanced the stories of both Mega Man and X which never came to pass. Like what happened to Mega Man before the 100 years before the X series(like how he died). Or events between the X and Zero series. ...Or a sequel to ZX Advent. I actually wanted that Maverick Hunter FPS game to happen. It's too bad it didn't. Oh well. At least we have Mighty No. 9 to look forward to. Also, I'm really tired of seeing Mega Man. I'd much rather see X in the spotlight than his inferior older brother.
