Except that it's totally Link. "It’s not that I said that it wasn’t Link. It’s that I never said that it was Link."
A few days ago Ubisoft's blog posted a lot of interesting stuff about the game. Here seems to be the main highlight I saw: Also, the crouch button I mentioned earlier isn't just a crouch button. It's an entire dedicated stealth mode. Source.
There's 14 characters to play as. Not 12. Though Machina spends a few sections of the game being unplayable and there's at least one part where Rem is also unplayable. >>
The fan translation is already out. It's funny because people who have been following its progress closely started to whine about Square "making money off the fans' hard work". Silly people. Anyways, there's already some news on some of the voice actors for the game(who already finished voice work two years ago). Trey will be voiced by Matthew Mercer. Cinque will be voiced by Cristina Vee. Nine will be voiced by Orion Acaba. Source: Gematsu Really excited to see who's going to voice Machina(I'll probably change my username back to this closer to release), Rem, Kurasame, and Ace.
Actually that was about 358/2 Days(I'm pretty sure about this) and a question in regards to touch screen controls. Hence why neither that game nor Dream Drop Distance did much with the touchscreen.
Username: Arno Dorian Name: Marcus Aran Age: 24 Appearance: Left Class/Occupation: Sell - Sword Location: An Inn [[Hammaslahti]] Special Ability: Armed Combat Weapon: Enchanted Axe Personality: Confident, serious, direct, but willing to let a joke slip when the moment is right. Marcus is extremely stubborn and defensive. His upbringing made him eager to prove that he could make it on his own in the world. Other: He was born into a Highborne family in Porthaethwy and has a very limited talent for fire magick.
It'd be better if the game ran at 720p with 60fps. No point in upscaling even further when there aren't any assets in the game that'll see any reasonable change. KH1.5 was still 30fps iirc. Normally I'm all for resolution over framerate...but there's no point in boosting the resolution further in this case. Anyways, do we have any word on capes returning for BBS? I'm pretty sure we're not getting them but it'd be nice if I was wrong.
AC Unity comes out October 28th. There is a crouch button. No competitive multiplayer. The modern section of the game stars "you" rather than the Abstergo employee from ACIV. So I guess this means we'd be playing as someone who's playing AC Unity that was released from Abstergo Entertainment. The creative director from AC Revelations returns but has confirmed there will be no tower defense missions. Paris is the largest city in the franchise and Notre Dame cathedral is 1:1 with its real life equivalent. A quarter of the buildings will be enterable. Read more here.
Being the biggest Type-0 fan on KHV...you guys have no idea how I reacted to seeing this news on Kotaku when I came home. It's a shame that I already know the entire story. But oh well. I get to cry again when I play it for the first time HD. Edit: It's only coming for PS4/Xbox One. Not Vita. The Vita listing was a mistake. [DOUBLEPOST=1402507557][/DOUBLEPOST]Here's some images for you guys. And once again I'm going to state here that Type-0 HD is not coming out for Vita. Just PS4 and Xbox One. Though I suppose you could play it on a Vita through remote play. Honestly, I'm not sure if I like the new logo more than the old logo. Red is a color I associate most with this game considering that's basically its primary color for the characters. And I'm not sure about the font choice of "HD".
No Man's Sky was the only indie that got me excited. Procedural generated worlds have never looked so beautiful. The Order still looks like a QTE/shooting gallery game though. AC Unity, Ratchet and Clank (THE MOVIE), and a remaster of the original Ratchet and Clank were pretty much the most exciting things to me though. Hopefully Square will end up surprising everyone with an overseas release of Type-0. Though that seems as likely as The Last Guardian making an appearance this decade. Also, LBP3 looks cute and fun. Never played the others and seeing this new one in action has me curious.
Looks like GTAV is coming to PS4. Well then. As if this wasn't expected. EDIT: Also confirmed for Xbox One and PC.
The main assassin of the four(the lean-looking guy in blue robes) is named Arno Dorian. Here's a look at the game shown today. Parkour looks faster. It also seems like some stealth from Watch_Dogs was implemented with the main character crouching in what I assume was a "restricted area". Here's hoping for an improved version of Watch_Dogs' AI in this game.
There''ll betwo demos of Unity at E3. One of which will be four player co-op. Source: Gematsu
Oh boy. Just what I always wanted to see. Pre-order bonuses. I'm not sure what's the deal with "Chile" being everywhere. The game's set in France...but after googling it seems to (possibly?) confirm my guess that it's just a watermark for a site of the same name which has nothing to do with the game itself.
20 different preorder versions existing. Cheap bosses like Mysterious Figure or bosses that supposedly have little health like Vanitas Remnant but make up for it by having ridiculous defense. Terrible dodge mechanics that make cheap bosses even more cheap. Seriously, wtf was up with Terra having the worst dodge in BBS? DLC bosses/characters. Other than that, I'm pretty much okay with whatever's done with the series. Convoluted plots and "MY FRIENDS ARE MY POWER" are a staple to Kingdom Hearts by now so I'm ready for whatever's thrown our way.
I prefer music without any vocalists. I'm a huge progressive metal/post rock fan and most of the time you can't convey the same musical messages when you have a vocalist around. A guitar virtuoso can really shine when there's no singer to drown out their complex melodies and rhythmic progressions. That's not to say I don't like bands with singers. I love all sorts of rock and metal but in my opinion...ditching the singer just makes everything sound so much better. Animals As Leaders master race.
I remember putting 200 hours into Dragon's Dogma and Dark Arisen. Good times.
Everyone knows Superman would win.
Dashing invulnerability confirmed. Here's a WIP video of the game!
