Yet another trailer. Yay trailers.
Dat Behemoth.
I was wondering as to whether or not I should post here. You're only a Skype message away. Still, gonna miss having you around. You're one of my only two bros on KHV. AND NOW I ONLY HAVE BUENO. Looks like you've got regular ol' life to look forward to. So have at it. Oh and... This just has to be left here.
Marcus had hoped that by giving her his name that she would feel inclined to do the same. Before she took off she even seemed to be offended to be called "church-girl". Was that not what she was? Without a name he had very little in the ways of which to call her. In any case, she took off pushing her horse into full gallop after accusing him of wanting to take advantage of her. Marcus spurred his horse after the girl wondering if just admitting to being highborne would have saved him of the trouble of misunderstandings. ...Though she did not seem to care for those of nobility either. Brasa snorted as they raced after the priestess. "Just because she's not fond of us does not mean we should-" The beast snorted once more, indifferent to what Marcus had to say. Annoyed with the thought of attempting to justify himself to a horse Marcus remained silent as he and Brasa followed after the girl.
Spoiler: Lots of Details Q: So after all, the E3 2013 trailer was a lie? You can’t actually play like that? A:You can fight like that. I think in the recent play demonstration we showed several techniques and functions, but at E3 last year the game was running on a prototype environment (Ebony). At TGS 2014 we showed the game running in the actual environment (Luminous). Right now we are in the process of migrating functions from the prototype into it. It will take time to migrate it all. I wanted to show footage in the actual environment as soon as possible, so I ended up showing something that is in the midst of migrating. The video shows actual footage, not an idealized version. It will become more and more advanced from here on out. Q: Can you go into detail about the “holding down the button” issue? Is it really okay to just hold the button down? A:It’s not that simple! (Laughs.) Yes, when you continue to hold down the guard button, you can basically auto-guard and evade, but it consumes MP. You can’t infinitely evade. You have to think about timing, when it’s a good idea to attack or evade. Also, you aren’t invincible. There are attacks you can’t avoid. In those cases, there are also essential technical evasion methods. Q: What about attacks? A:When you push the attack button, you invoke the standard combo. You can change the actions by using it in coordination with the directional buttons. The actions change depending on your circumstances—things like whether you’re guarding and whether the timing is right, (imagine in this circumstance: when you’re guarding, you might get a chance to counterattack or something), or if your companions are nearby. Q: Can you change the operational character? A:Not in its current specifications. Everyone on the development team thoroughly looked into an Active Cross Battle system that made free use of attack, guard, and co-op functions, but as a result they arrived at the conclusion that changing characters would be too difficult. In order to create a new and interesting battle system, we ended up not being able to put in the character switching. Q: Is jumping in? A: It is. Considering PlayStation 4 has plenty of buttons, there is an independent jump button. Q: What about free running? A: It’s there. Except for the character switching, everything that was in the E3 2013 trailer is still there. All the cool actions like the weapons barrier that surrounds Noctis called “Phantom Sword,” and the short warps and jumping from the Behemoth battle are in the actual game. We’ll release more information later on, so please look forward to it. Q: What about weapon selection? A: You set them yourself before battle. You set each weapon considering what actions you can use with which weapons. You can only determine one weapon from the ones equipped to be your main one, but that weapon will come with techniques which can be invoked at your discretion in battle. Besides the basic assault button (attack), you can invoke techniques with the technique button. Q: I can’t tell if it’s more like Kingdom Hearts or Final Fantasy Type-0 A: We explained that when you push the attack button, you invoke the standard combo, which is similar toType-0. Considering the battle system as a whole, however, it is different from both Type-0 and Kingdom Hearts. Q: Is it being simplified for casual users? Is is still an action RPG? A: In order to widen its appeal, we’re developing the game aware that anyone can immediately be able to play it, however the game as a whole is not casual. Because it’s a core game, we have casual controls. If you obtain good weapons and level up, you won’t have to worry about clearing the main scenarios. Q: Will you listen to feedback from the demo version? A: We want to reference your feedback during development, but how we’re going to do that is still under review. Q: Haven’t you been poor at putting out information? A: If our fans are uneasy about the information we have released, then our ways of issuing information may in fact be poor. Even though we didn’t have a lot of time, I wanted to make clear the current situation. In the future, our information releases might be poor, but I think we can receive your approval. Additional details were shared on cooperative chains, parrying, and other general information. “There are systems we want to tell you more about.” Final Fantasy XV’s Cooperative Chains & Growth “The co-op moves aren’t one-offs, you can do them continuously.”“Invoking co-op moves is automatic, but it’s necessary for the player to aim their mark.” Turning to the Side = The Concept of Parrying “To connect a co-op move while avoiding an enemy attack, you have to keep an eye out for an indication when to invoke it.”“You can’t auto-parry.”“It feels accomplishing to pull of a co-op attack from a parry.” More details to come later. General “Even though there are parts fromVersus that we have ended up changing, we’ve developed them in more interesting ways, I want you to look forward to it.”“I get reports everyday from development staff about what was said on the internet. If we have material, I’d like to release development information again in a live broadcast like this on November 1.”“Next month they’ll release information from other development members.”“Development progress is at 55%.Final Fantasy XV has entered the phase where they are mass producing resource material. After that, it’s a fight against the amount of resource material and time. We are also hiring people to help make Final Fantasy XV, so interested applicants should check out the homepage.” Gematsu
I always thought it was "In The Tits" but that works too.
Because a lot of people started complaining again. Ubisoft is based in Canada. So they have plenty of French-speaking people. Naturally, there were loads of people asking "y u no French, Arno?" Guess Ubisoft needed to remind people that the Animus is, in fact, a thing.
Hate everybody equally. Regardless of race or sex.
I like how wearing heavy armor actually makes you less stealthy this time around. Of course guards will be suspicious of the most heavily armed guy out there.
As soon as he had her attention he could feel the priestess's piercing blue gaze upon him. She studied him as if he was an oddity that ought not be anywhere near her. All girls of the church seemed to have a similar glare but hers was a good deal more focused and almost intimidating. Marcus shifted uncomfortably in place under her gaze and at the mention of being highborne he glanced at his saddle and immediately regretted stealing that too. The girl's horse picked up its pace. Brasa snorted once more in annoyance. Marcus stared down at the horse who refused to keep up with her without being told to do so. "Well?" Without further pressure from Marcus the horse followed after its fellow beast. This priestess had attitude that would not have sat well in most noble houses and appeared to have no worries about finding something, or someone, dangerous out on the road. Maybe she could handle herself or maybe she had just never conceived the idea that there were those who would be willing to kill someone like her for the chance of selling her robes for gold. "I'm not highborne." A line he was used to speaking by now no matter how untrue it was. "I am usually the one doing the escorting." Once more he was beside the priestess and as he spoke he tapped his hand against the handle of his axe. "Look, I'm not after your gold," Brasa flicked his golden mane almost in response to his words. He did need gold but at least he had enough for another day or two. "I just do not like the idea of a church-girl getting robbed and killed." He sighed. "My name is Marcus." Of course if he mentioned his family name...well, everyone knew of House Aran but at least when the name came up the only lord anyone ever brought up was that of his older brother. Many have even known that Verus had any brothers and those that did knew nothing of his name. Staying in his brother's shadow only meant it was easier for Marcus to travel.
Brasa went full gallop to a slow trot without the command of Marcus. He glared down at the steed who was tilting his head south towards Porthaethwy. "No. We're not going back." With a defiant snort Brasa picked up its pace and took off once more after having to be persuaded by a tug at the reigns. The priestess was already in sight so he did not need to remind where her horse's tracks led. As they began to close the distance Marcus began to wonder why she was traveling towards Eastborne. He lamented over the fact that he would be heading that direction again so soon. Even Brasa seemed to be annoyed by the thought of heading back east...moreso than having to listen to him. The constant sound of horseshoes clashing against the road had begun to get on Marcus's nerves and made him think that perhaps he was not so suited for traveling by land as he had once thought. The sea and its accompanying sounds of waves was far more pleasing to his ears than that of a galloping horse. The black horse began to slow its pace to keep from overtaking the priestess once they drew near. Marcus cursed under his breath with the fact that he had became so distracted with useless thoughts that he had still not come up with anything to say to the girl. Brushing off a strand of brown hair from his eyes he took in a deep breath before speaking up as he now rode alongside the girl. "It's dangerous to ride alone, priestess. Why is it that you've no escort with you?"
Seems like it might get a little cluttered or just be unorganized. Still, the idea has been brought up before. I don't remember what was the reason last time it didn't go through. Also, if this gets accepted, there should be a section within for the illiterate(sounds legit).
1080p and 30fps. Not much else to say here.
As soon as the priestess took off Marcus tossed two coins at the stable boy's way. "Here. Bring that horse to the gates." He pointed at the large black beast who was pressing up against the wooden door. The stable boy looked back at Marcus nervously. "He won't kill you. Now move!" With a nod from the boy Marcus took off back to the inn, rushing to grab his bag. He took a quick glance around the room making sure he forgot nothing. It was a silly thing for him to do considering how light he packed. Even after all his time spent away from Porthaethwy... Marcus shook his head and began to leave the room, pausing for a moment to consider leaving a small payment behind for leaving the room a mess. He tapped a finger on the leather of his bag and considered how much gold he had left. He did not have enough to spare to be generous to everyone he crossed paths with. He shut the door and slung the bag over his shoulder, running towards the gates. Following the girl's tracks would be easy enough and catching up to her would hardly be a difficult task for his steed. As stubborn and excitable as it was, the beast more than made up for its attitude with speed and endurance. It was the sole reason why he stole his older brother's horse. Besides, Verus had little use for a horse of that caliber. Approaching the gates Marcus immediately spotted the black steed, Brasa, tugging at the reigns the stable boy was desperately trying to hold on to. Marcus knew that if he did not hurry up and leave Brasa would be content with trampling the poor lad. "Thanks for not hurting him." "It wasn't easy..." Started the stable boy. "I was talking to him." Marcus motioned towards the angry horse as he secured his bag to the saddle and hopped on. Brasa flicked his head in annoyance as if to tell Marcus to get off. "If you keep acting up I'm going to eat you for dinner." Once Brasa calmed down, he rode out the city at full speed leaving cursing guards in their wake as they halted in their motions to close the gate.

Shhh. Give in to the pixels.
Yes. Yes it is. But it's okay. I can feed your fetish. Or perhaps this is not hardcore enough for you? The Atari had some racy stuff.
You dirty girl.
I guess nobody showed you guys the new screenshot. Spoiler This is why it's taking so long.
*gets popcorn*
The glimmer of the temple's glass portraits reflected off his eyes. They reminded him of similar representations of Porthaethwy's legendary figures. One of his favorite stories was of a lone knight with no name who stood Porthaethwy's bridge to face off against an army. The knight was said to have slain the invading army with the "flames of a thousand dragons". Very little of the original tale had actually survived over the years and what remained was merely a story of a man facing impossible odds. It was simply known as "The Bridgemaster" but for all its simplicity and lack of detail the story resonated with Marcus. Perhaps it was because of the mystique surrounding it. Was the knight one of the magi? A god? Or was it all something dreamt up by a child? He snapped back to reality when a girl cloaked in white spoke to him before continuing on her way. He turned his head and raised an eyebrow immediately recognizing this girl as a priestess. Spoiler: Seven years past "The next time you wander into a dark alleyway-" "So you're saying there'll be a next time?" "No! Just don't do it again. If something happens to you I'll be forced to take your place and I don't intend to become a lord and deal with politics the rest of my life." "And that's the reason why my loving brother saved me from a thug? Come on, don't be so serious. I had it all under control. There was no need for you to jump in." "You had a knife to your throat." "Mostly under control. Besides, I had to leave the castle. I saw a girl-" "How are you training with those Magi if you can't even keep your eyes off priestesses?" "Don't tell me you've never looked their way either!" "...Shut up and go home." "So you can go and find her without me?" "If you were nearly killed at this time of night I'd hate to think what could happen to one of those girls." "Fine. Go save the girl from tripping over her own cloak. Honestly, you should stop reading those books about heroes and grand quests. They're going right to your head." Why was she alone though? The girl appeared to be dressed for travel. At least mostly. Normally they had a companion tagging along to keep them safe when going anywhere further than the markets. He scratched his chin thoughtfully as he watched the priestess distance herself from him. He would have been content leaving her go about her business alone if it hadn't been for that night years ago. One lesson he was sure to remember was that neither faith nor magic guaranteed one's safety. Even the good can die horribly. Sighing to himself he decided to trail behind the girl before she could leave his sight. With one last glance back over at the temple Marcus followed after the priestess. Just as he expected, the hooded girl headed in the direction of the stables. As they approached, with Marcus keeping his distance, he wondered how to speak to the girl. It was only then that he considered the possibility that she would refuse his plan to offer her assistance. He tried to come up with a compelling argument to convince her otherwise but the sound of a horse's loud neighing distracted him. A black horse with a golden mane and tail became restless as it caught sight of him. Stupid beast! Calm down! Of course his horse would get excited. He had not been to see it since they arrived. Putting a finger to his lips to signal to the horse quieted it but only slightly. It stirred and stared his way, impatiently waiting for Marcus to set him free.
