YOU KNOW WHY HE KEEPS ADOPTING? BECAUSE HE NEEDS IT TO FILL THE VOID THAT IS HIS DEAD PARENTS.
YOU DON'T HEAR CLARK WHINING ABOUT HIS DEAD PLANET AND SPACE PARENTS.
So did Bruce Wayne.
More footage! Looks like Mighty No. 2's stage(the ice one) might be one of the easier stages to clear first. Especially since the boss pattern seems to be pretty simple. Of course at this stage(pun!) that could change. Also, dashing seems to provide invulnerability to attacks as well.
Wait for the super-feminists to come in and tell you that the game is sexist because it's about a weak female that needs saving from a male and will teach girls to be submissive. Also, it will teach them to worship chickens because they're OP. ilu feminists of KHV
I grew up playing some really hardcore games (unfortunately not the original Battletoads) but that's something you just have to be exposed to first, I feel. Unless the kid's a natural. Screw it. Let them play Battletoads. Bathe in their tears.
I wouldn't call it "recently" but the last genre for me to get interested in was progressive metal. It was about the same time I fell in love with post-rock too. So it was about...3 years ago. Musical virtuosos. Virtuosos everywhere.
GTAV But seriously, just about anything from the "old school" era would be great to show them. Dat minimalism. Er...never mind. Those kinds of games are probably too hard for kids. There's loads of indie games for free you can find if you do a little searching. For some reason I can't think of any off the top of my head.
Prince of Persia (2008) Assassin's Creed III (I still don't get all the hate it got. I never experienced many bugs with this either.) The Walking Dead Season 1 El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen I'd mention Type-0 but I'm already considering it a next(current?) gen game. I don't want to count any handheld games anyways because the technology is always a little more than a generation behind. Just like Nintendo.
No. ...Okay, you're in.
