War of the Nobodies: Demyx had already snuck by others and entered Marluxia's portal so it already closed.
Demyx swung her hand in his own like playing a game with his arm. He listened how sincere Xion was, but also picked up on the seriousness in her tone. "Well that's a good thing right? I still say you have nothing to worry about," he stretched out other hand and waved it out. "Fighting is not what it's cracked up to be. I mean what is the whole point anyway? You might as well be a ignorant moron with no brain and all muscle," he joked thinking of the description of Lexaeus. "But forget what I said. We shouldn't even be talking about battles or wars. Not on a beautiful day like this one," he inhaled the crisp air and closed his eyes to listen to the harmonious sounds of birds, and people in the distance, some playing insturments. "Nothing could go wrong today. So it's settled then. We enjoy this glorious day to the fullest. We get something to eat and then some icecream and then go from there. I would like you to tell me all about your time here with Aerith though." As Cloud waited for a response from Leon, he eyes shifted to the distance and he felt a cool chill in the air. He felt cold all of a sudden and then that feeling passed. He nodded as Demyx spoke to Xion like a big brother and he propped himself up using his right foot for balance aganist the side of the building. "Don't forget after we rest up and everything before night hits, we need to take care of what needs to be accomplished or else who knows what could happen." He hated to spoil the moment, but he was afraid that Xemnas or one of his spys was keeping tabs on him making sure that collecting hearts was in some part of the equation for the perfect day. As much as he hated it, it was indeed the reason why he would be getting paid and the rest of his payment would come from Demyx. Speaking of which he wondered how Demyx would get the extra munny to compensate the salary of $2000 every two weeks or $4,000 a month? He would have to speak to him on that.
Tired actually. I'm catching up on responding to the rpgs.
In War of Nobodies: Just so you know Xeol was healed by Verxonica.
Yes of course. I'll be on when I can. Bye Larxy. ^_^
Yeah, but I have to leave. I'm taking my younger sister to the place I'm staying at to go in the hot tub and plus fire mage and I have to take...
Cloud was lost in thought once more, his eyes shifted towards the ground, but then when Xion mentioned the first letter was a Z, he looked up and starrred at her. "Wait a minute. Were you going to say Zack?" He had remembered his friend and mentour the one who was betrayed by Sephiroth and killed by the same man. Cloud wanted some answers, but he didn't want to scare her either. So Aerdith had left and it wasn't to get some items, it was for another reason. If what Cloud was thinking was indeed correct, he would want to know more about the where abouts of his friend. He had to be dead. Cloud remembered witnessing Zack's death and his fists clenched just thinking about it. He gazed at Leon and nodded his head. "I have an idea where Aerith could be to see a certain someone from my past. Inform Cid, Yuffie and Tifa of her location. Could you do that for me Leon? I have some business I have to take care of. I need to talk to Xion and Demyx alone." Demyx had an certain idea why Cloud wanted to speak to Xion and why he wanted him there to be present. Xion trusted Demyx and was sort of intimidated by Cloud so with the water wielder present with them, Xion didn't have to be afraid and could be more at ease. Looking into Cloud's eyes. Demyx could tell he was determined to find out who this mysterious man, Xion began to mention and if it was indeed the one Cloud remembered. He starred at Xion whom was now asking him about a type of icecream and it had been awhile since he had any kind. "To be honest I don't know what kind. Maybe I'll try a tiny sample of all the flavors and decide from there. Back at the castle, we don't have the luxuries of being able to get the kind of food we like without going out to that world or something like that. No, now that I think of it, it's pretty much fend for yourselves at the castle." He walked in front of her and held her hand looking at her fingers for a little bit. "You probably haven't even fought recently have you? It's okay if you haven't though. I don't care for it." He shurgged.
"So you're saying we just wait here in the castle and wait for them to come to us? Doesn't sound like a good plan to me. One of us needs to be prepared. We should at least have a plan of attack right?" He was disappointed with his team for he didn't want to be caught and dragged back to the Underworld or ever see that woman again the one who had tortured him. "I'm sure the boss has something planned right?"
Well the place that my sister and I are staying at has a hot tub and a pool. It was sunny for a few days, but now it is overcast. We call it June...
(OOC: This is defintely like a soap opera.) Demyx listened to the others speak and Roxas complain about being hot like he was burning on the inside. He wondered what was wrong with everyone? Shaking his head, he managed to get rid of the headache that had been bothering him and looked at the others. "What do you mean Xathabat is dying?"
Yeah it is which sucks, but at least we can talk here. It will be another week at least since I'm at the other place. Right now I'm currrently at...
Demyx waved his hand at her. "That's not what I meant," he laughed a bit and grinned. "The traps we have are what humans wouldn't be able to fanthom especically in the other head quarters."
I haven't responded in a few days as well, but I'm glad you're back. I have to catch up on everything now.
Yeah it's been a long time. Did you get a recap?
Hi, I'll be back later. I have to go to the chiropractor.
Cloud looked around for he thought he heard a door close from behind him in the distance. "How come?" He asked. He was concerned about her, but knew she would be all right. She could take care of herself. Perhaps she had something she needed to do? Cloud would find out soon enough. Demyx's smile broadned once more. "All right if that's what you want. She is welcome to come if she wants though. We can bring her something back," He lifted his head towards the sky and felt the cool breeze swipe in the face. "The wind is gentle unlike Xaldin who creates tornados or huge gusts in his way. Why am I even thinking about the rest of the members of the Organization anyway?" He hated to admit it, but all of the members in some way made him know that was like the only family he ever had if you could call them that. He looked over his shoulder feeling like he was being watched, but didn't want Cloud or Xion to see him in distress. No, this day was about them all having fun and enjoying the time they had together.
"Not if you ran into the traps or got lost," Demyx hinted with a smirk. "The castle is huge and it takes hours to walk to one end to the other wings. That is why I depend on portaling."
Demyx felt his head and sighed. "I remembered walking since I was lost in thought and felt that I had failed my friends for not being there and then suddendly the ground gave way to me and then all I remember is the darkness. I'm sorry I worried you both."
Cloud noticed her hestination and waited for her to speak once more. "Like a older sister or mother?" He attempted to help her finish her response. "She has a very loving heart and seems to care about all especially those that are deeply troubled like myself. She has helped me in more ways then one." He kneeled to the ground and felt the soil with his hand, picking out a earth worm from it and placing it elsewhere away from the flowers. He looked at his new friend Demyx and felt he had a connection with Xion. "Yes, Demyx is one of a kind. It's rare for a nobody to have so much compassion for one that doesn't even have a heart and I bet he will get his before anyone else of Organization XIII just for that reason." He was glad that everyone was at peace for the moment and Xemnas's task of getting more hearts would have to wait. What he didn't know wouldn't hurt the blond warrior and Demyx in fact since he was supposed to be getting hearts as well. Xemnas had no idea what was going on. Demyx smiled as he listened to Xion and Cloud interact and was especially proud when he heard that he could get his heart before any of the others. It made him feel important and wanted. Xion needed somoene to look after her, like a mother figure and Aerith was the perfect choice. She was teaching her kindness and that the world wasn't all that bad. No wonder, Cloud himself had a close connection to the brunette woman. She had a lot of good traits about her for she saw the good in everyone. Xion needed to be around the postive influences and besides Aerith being one, and Cloud being another, Demyx thought of himself as being put in the same catergory. He felt very comfortable around the humans, and it made him feel like a human himself rather then a vessel that was living and breathing. "Xion, how would you like to go eat some icecream with Cloud, Leon, Aerith and I?" He offered his hand out to her.
"What? Don't I get a say in this? I don't even know what this guy's powers are if he has any? I would like to know that first before I rush off to battle like some caveman with a club," Demyx crossed his arms and pouted looking away from both Axel and Xemnas.
