I have to ask you are small question. Have you watched the cutscenes after you enter the door at Altar of Naught? Or atleast the one that comes when you enter the Memory's Skyscraper? Both of those imply that Roxas is alive. Just not in a full physical form but alive. And sure, he does fuse with Sora but it doesn't seem like his life ends. Sorry to rant but facts are facts.
Well, POTF seems to meet your criteria. It's indie, it's got acoustic soft rock songs and is just plain awesome.

I've been thinking the same thing. The connecting piece might be that Xion was artificially made from Aqua. Xemnas might have made her as a result of his tests. It would also explain why Xion could use the Keyblade. Also, the BBS Keyblades don't seem real. Neither does Xion's. That's just a few things I could think of.
