He turned to the man in question and looked him up and down quickly taking him in. "As to why it matters is simple, there must be a good reason for it, seeing the request ended up at a normal guild instead of a Dark Guild who are already criminals, who wouldn't care for an extra note in their criminal record. The fact that this request ended up in normal guilds is odd in it's own right and there must be a good explanation for it." He said calmly "Furthermore a guild has a name to uphold, an appearance to the outside world, negative things weigh heavier than positive things, to build a good reputation can take years, even decades but it can be lost in but a day and the consequences of your actions will always catch up to you." With this he turned back to Edric, hoping for an answer.
Conrad Heinrich Adelbrecht Karsten von Eisenstein II, Sapphire Eclipse Guild Hall It wasn't long before Conrad heard someone shout that everyone who was new had to come over, there were some interesting people around, some walking statue, a girl with a more odd taste in clothing, then there was the bloke with the two coloured hair and *bump* Vance..... it just had to be Vance.... "Well well if it isn't Vance himself" He said, he wasn't going to stoop as low as Vance and throw an insult his way as to retain moral high ground. He had heard a lot about him, might have run into him once or twice though it wasn't memorable, he didn't care much either. He instead listened carefully as to what Edric had to say, but he wasn't too pleased.... They were stealing a book... The first question he could ask was why? He waited until Edric had finished speaking and then spoke up "Why exactly are we stealing a book?"
Conrad Heinrich Adelbrecht Carsten von EisenStein II, Near Sapphire Eclipse Guild Hall This was it, he was almost there, he had his old teacher to thank for this and in hindsight it explained his curiosity regarding magic. He walked through the busy street, he noticed some heads turned, people staring thinking they had seen him before. He kept to himself and walked on, he rounded the corner onto the main road the Guild Hall coming into view, it was an impressive building to say the least, but it still felt strange to him. He was reminded of their estate, it was impressive but it was never more than a home to him and he knew how priviliged he was coming from such a family. He carried on walking He stood before the doors of the guild hall, uncertain of what was the custom here, he considered knocking and waiting as he had been instructed to do, but that applied to personal rooms and homes, neither of which this building was. So he took a moment to dust off his coat and made sure he looked presentable and then entered the Guild hall, he was surprised by what he saw, his teacher had explained the function and a general lay-out of a Guild but he didn't expect this. He looked around for someone that looked like they could help him.

Over the coat, around Conrad's waist is a pair of buckled belts, with his sword attached to his right hip. Underneath he wears a cyan coloured shirt with large cuffs and a mildly high collar around his neck is a whit cravat tie with the lower part being tucked inside the coat. His outfit is finished with a simple pair of pants, the same colour as his coat and a pair of black boots. When not on a mission it is the same outfit minus coat AS: Aero, Quick blitz, Fire Strengths: Sword fighting Weaknesses/Fears: -Being on the wrong side -Injustice -Ranged Combat -Caring for people who do not so in return History: Conrad was born the second son to the wealthy Eisenstein family, while it meant he wasn't going to succeed his father as head of the Eisenstein Metalurgy corporation(Controlling several mines and foundries), it did mean he had quite the carefree youth. He received good education from a personal teacher. He was a curious lad wanting to know about the world and distant places and most important of all magic, it intrigued him. He himself was unaware of his magical powers back then. In the time he didn't study he played with his two younger sisters and one younger brother. As he grew older he started to physicly train himself for a purpose, as he wasn't going to take over the company of his father, he decided that the best way to improve his family's name would be to join the army. At the age of 20 he went for it, he passed every examination but one, it turned out he was a mage. Dissappointed about being turned down he returned home. Several years passed as Conrad was uncertain what to do, his father disliked mages for the always caused trouble, Conrad knew that eventhough he never said it anymore and didn't act differently. He still spent the odd hour with his younger siblings, but something within him had changed. One day he was taking a stroll with his sister they were held up by three people, mages from a dark guild sent to capture his sister for ransom, Conrad stood his ground but his inexperience did him in. When he woke he found a letter and he was all alone. He became angry and swore to take vengeance upon this dark guild, but he needed to be a lot stronger, he went back home, dropped the letter off at his father's office and then went for his room. He kept to himself the next few days, getting out only when necesary. He then ran into his teacher who gave him directions to a guild where he should be able to grow stronger to exact his revenge, so he took what he needed and left for the place.
