As Jackyl acquired the party invite from Mr. Edgemeister, she internally congratulated herself on her amazing diplomatic skills and then promptly accepted the invite. While he seemed to be content with just doing his own thing and fighting his own fight, Jackyl decided to respect that and go do her own thing and fight her own fight. Swinging her blades around, she found a few level one goblins that sort of just spawned in, and went to make short work of them with her two swords, swinging at them with extreme prejudice and probably some form of racism (because the two often went hand and hand together.) Jackyl continued to fight on, until her partner here decided to try something. Doing some kind of a chant, a large man was just sort of summoned out of thin air and started just attacking Lucas. While Jackyl felt like she should help, she also felt like her party member would not really appreciate her assistance and intervention in whatever this was, and so she decided to be productive in the mean time and help deal with more goblins. That way they'd be really efficient in gathering EXP, and Edgemeister would still be gaining levels from all of this. As she was doing this, though, she noticed that his hp seemed to be getting low, and he himself looked pretty worse for wear. While she was about to go see if she go actually help him out of this situation, it seemed like he managed to get it under control, as the man bowed to Edgemeister, thus winning his respect and fealty. While the person seemed to dismiss themselves, her partner had other ideas as he summoned him right back and into the fight. Turning towards her, he then asked her if she could summon one herself. Well, more telling her to summon one than actually asking her to. Thinking back to when she had first started playing the game, during character creation, she was struggling to remember what was the name of her summon. After a few more moments of deliberation, she remembered everything she needed to. Lodging the swords into the ground, she clapped her hands together, as if praying, and closed her eyes while saying, "open, gates of heavens. Release the legendary Paladin of Charlemagne....Astolfo!" And so too did a knight descend from the heavens. An androgynous looking knight, who could honestly have an easier time passing for a female than she could, had been summoned before her, wielding a lance in one hand, and having a sword sheathed at his waist. With virtually zero down time, though, Astolfo had begun his attack. Grabbing her blades from the ground, Jackyl jumped backward in order to evade the attack, doing so just narrowly as the spear had nicked her cheek. At that moment, though, something felt completely off. Her sense of balance had gotten completely messed up and all it looked like what happened was that she tripped backwards, landing on her rump. Feeling slightly disoriented, she seemed to be completely out of it, but came back to her senses just in time to grip her blade and parry a spear that was coming towards her abdomen. Kicking back against the ground, Jackyl created some distance between the two as Astolfo had simply ended up stabbing at the ground where Jackyl had been. Picking herself back up, the knight went and stabbed at her once more, only this time with Jackyl having ample time to react and parry against the spear blade with her two swords. Doing so resulted in the spear being spun around and her being hit by the butt of it, knocking the wind out of her, but not knocking her down. As the knight spun the spear back to stab at her, Jackyl prepped herself to react this time, ducking to the left, only getting grazed by the spear once more, though not losing her balance this time, she went in for the kill. Bringing in both of her blades in at the same time, she struck from the direction, both of them slashing across the torso of the knight. Bringing her blades back around in an X formation, she caught Astolfo's spear as he swung it like a staff at her, disarming it from the hands of the knight and gaining a leg up in the fight. Or so he had thought. The moment she had lodged the blade from the grip of the knight, he had immediately drawn his sword from his side and slashed at her torso, making a slightly nasty cut over her abdomen and causing her to back off. Giving a quick flick of her wrist, Jackyl spun her blades purely for show as she prepped herself for round two of this impromptu boss fight. Charging at him, she struck with both of her blades in a downward motion, only for her blades to be blocked by her summons and parried back, and her body to be open for an attack once more. However, as her attack was parried, Jackyl quickly went to go jump back with the momentum of the block, avoiding what probably would have been a fatal blow with just a small scratch next to the nastier looking one. With a final assault, Jackyl threw herself at her opponent once more, striking at her opponent with one blade only for it to be blocked. However, she slid the blade off so that it was free, at the same time, striking with the other, creating a hurricane of pressure being generated from her sword strikes. Eventually, the knight showed a sign of opening under the constant strikes, and Jackyl struck with one of her blades, cutting through the torso and leaving a large gash there. As the attack finished, the knight stopped attacking and sheathed his sword. Kneeling down to her, he said, "you have proven a liege worthy of my service. I hereby pledge my blade to you m'lady." With that done, the summon dismissed himself. Letting out a "woohoo~" Jackyl was ecstatic about what she had done here. Now she had her own summon that she could go and beat things up with as well. This was all kinds of awesome. Pointing her sword to the air, she said, "Astolfo, come down and kick these goblin's assess!" With that, the knight had been summoned back to the field, letting out a sigh towards his master's vulgar nature, but still readied his spear nonetheless. With that, the quartet of summons and masters alike had gone on to go and kill the goblins that were here and there. Going deeper and deeper into the encampment so that they could get more and more exp, they continued to steer clear of any other parties that happened to be in the fortress, as per the anti-social nature of Edgemeister, until they had managed to get to level six together. At this point, as Jackyl continued to fight the goblins, she noticed the diminishing returns that she was receiving from the field, coming to the conclusion that this was probably the end of the training here. Letting out a sigh of relief, she looked to her party member and said, "well I guess that does it for here." Sheathing her two blades, she extended out her hand for a friendly handshake to her partner. "It was nice working with you Edge. I guess you'll be leaving now that we finished this area, but it was fun while it lasted. Hope to see you again within this game."
After having dashed at the bestial sheep king, Charlotte had come to notice something. Both Gaius and Veilen had dosed off in the battlefield. She couldn't help but think that this wasn't some kind of coincidence, and that this sheep had some sort of power of sleep. Vile scourge, with such underhanded effects, he needed to be put down as soon as could be possible. However, there was still the issue that they needed to operate at full capacity, and as such, Charlotte used Esuna on Gaius to bring him out of sleep, then blocking for Gaius.
As the man had expressed his enjoyment of the name that she had given him, she simply clapped her hands together and said, "woo~, glad you liked it. Next MMO I'm in, I'll be sure to look for someone with that name." However, the rest of what he had to say was not so receptive to the suggestion of partying up. In fact, he was kind of rude, though, she supposed it fit his nickname of Edgemeister, so all was forgiven at the end of the day. That being said, she needed a party member, and she needed to showcase to this person as to why partying was always important. "Well you see, there are several advantages to being part of a party. For example," she spotted a goblin and just slashed at it, (as it seemed to be horrified at the exploded heads of nearby goblins.) It seemed to stagger back a bit from the cut, only to retaliate at her and prove a bit of a fighter, hitting Jackyl in the leg with a small shiv when she wasn't ready. She then retaliated by slashing at the thing a few more times before it dropped dead. With a tone of voice like she was trying to exaggerate what actually just happened, she said, "man, that was such a difficult fight, if only there was some way to make it that much easier." Then, as if she had just come up with a brilliant idea, she went into her inventory and spawned out her second sword. Giving the two blades a spin with a flick of her wrist, she then looked back to see another Goblin spawn in, also having a slightly dinky shiv in hand, and it just sort of instinctually charged at her. Being totally prepared this time, and having two blades instead of one, she simply slashed at the hand with the weapon with one sword, and then struck at the creature with her second blade. Bringing both blades back and then slashing in an X formation, the goblin was felled and died. In the same exaggerated tone, she said, "man with two blades that fight was so much easier. I guess two really is better than one at dealing with things." Looking back to him, and seeing that he probably wasn't amused by her odd display as if she were trying to sell him some sort of cleaning product on a late night infomercial, with a sly grin on her face she said, "and if that didn't convince you think about it this way. I just killed two of these goblins, that you didn't kill. And if you really want to think of it this way, that means I just got EXP that you could've gotten. But if we were in a party, than you would have gotten exp and wouldn't have had to do a thing for it. Not fight it, and not worry about some other selfish soloer coming in and trying to take all of the exp for themselves, thus making your grinding process go by way slower." With a smile on her face she said, "so, sold yet?" And if he wasn't, well than sucked to be him because she would keep training here regardless.
Alright, so, step one. Jackyl had to level up. And how did one level up? By killing things of course! Which meant, that she needed to find the closest camp or spawn area of monsters to go on a tear of. And what did she need to go kill a monster? A weapon! And how did she get a weapon? By going into her menu and selecting it of course. Seeing that she had two swords in her inventory, she equipped one as it materialized in her hand. As she looked still in her inventory, she saw that there was weapon evolution potion there, and realized that it would probably be a good idea to use it. As she gave her sword a few good swings just to get a good feel for it, she wondered why her menu was still up and just kind of closed. Right, now she needed to go and find some monsters to kill. Looking onward, she saw there was a large encampment of things that probably needed killing. So that was where she would go. Giving her sword a good spin, she put on her back where it just magically seemed to be clipped on to, and started walking with a spring in her step and whistling a tune to keep her thoughts occupied as she walked on to the encampment. As she stepped into the encampment, she noticed someone had already beaten her there. Looking at the rather dark and brooding fellow, Jackyl gave him a short wave as she said, "heyo there Edgermeister!" Looking at the work he was doing here, she said, "so uh, I take it your just getting busy here killing goblins and getting exp?" Turning his voice into more like a business man, she said, "because if so, for the low low price of one party invite, you could have this hunting thing be a much easier time."
Within the deep realms of sleep, Charlotte had a dream. A very complex and thoroughly detailed dream, one that would win an Oscar if it was made (because it'd be immediately turned into a film after winning the Nobel Piece Prize which it immediately won after getting the Pulitzer prize once it was written down in book form.) In fact, it was so detailed and so amazing that the writer of the dream himself couldn't express all of the imagery and symbolism and story in a single language. As such, it was written in 30 different languages, and then put into an audio book for every few chapters in 17 other languages. However, the writer does not know 47 languages so, but if you must know the amazingness of this dream, picture this. Fifty billion rainbows and the sun is setting and the moon is setting also and you're there in a gazebo, and then God descends from heaven and he gives you million dollars. Take that feeling, and put it into a book, I could translate word by word but that'd take too long, and I've got stuff to do readers, I don't have time for this. You gotta trust me readers, this freaking dream is brilliant. Anyway, Charlotte woke up after that dream and noticed that the group was still fighting Sheeptard. Being slightly confused at the entire situation at hand, she was wondering why she felt so drowsy in the first place, but that was probably neither here nor there. As such, Charlotte just used Fire Surge on the sheep and blocked for Ra. Yeah. Having been wondering through a myriad of different maze routes while in this maze, Lucia wasn't having any luck finding an exist. Nevertheless, it had turned out that someone else had. Well that was good. Also the maze was flooding. That was less good. Even worse was that Lucia was pretty far away from the exit. This may have proven a problem if not for the fact that, Caliborn not withstanding, she was the fastest person in their group. And so, breaking into a full sprint, Lucia ran as fast as she could through the watery maze, until having finally caught up with the group. Panting a bit, she looked up and said, "made it. Whew. Nice job finding it guys."
There it was. A message from the creator himself. One that would shake the very foundation of the world that they lived in, or rather, changed what the world they lived in was. Jackyl just kind of stood there in awe as the message was declared, having it set in on her in a bit more time than it took most others. As everyone else was beginning to panic, shove everyone else around, scream, cry and what ever else people do during a panic, Jackyl just stood there with a blank expression on her face as he hands were beginning to tremble. This was it. This was the SAO event all over again. Everything that had happened then was happening now, only with a few differences that ninety percent of the RPers have already pointed out, so I shan't reiterate them. As the entirety of the horror had finally set in on Jackyl, she took a deep breath as she clenched her hands into fists to calm them. The very next thing she did was throw her fists into the air, letting out a "Wahoo!" of sheer joy, as the idea of this being reality had finally set in. She wasn't dreaming. Her life was actually a video game. Talk about bad-ass. She had been super disappointed when she had missed the whole SAO thing years back, but here she was. Living out the dream. She looked back to her hands as she brought them down, seeing them tremble with excitement. Man, this was just too good. As she looked at her menus, she saw that she had some swords at the ready to use, as per her preference of swording things up, and recalled that the creator said something about a weapon upgrade potion. Well she should definitely get to using that. However, as she was about to go and apply it, her attention was caught by some verbose person speaking out about creating a party of the elite of the elite, players who were awesome and stuff. Well, Jackyl was certainly not new to this whole VRMMO, but at the same time she was definitely new to this new game. So she'd hardly consider herself elite. Maybe average, but there really wasn't much to scale off of at this point in time, so she'd pass on the elite party hi-jinks. No, instead she'd wander the world herself, and create a party of people who may or may not suck at this whole thing, creating a naturally forming RPG party to go on her grandscale adventuring tales with. Or she'd die really fast while being unable to fight a boar. Either or. She briefly wondered if she was in the middle of something before her tangential thought, but thought nothing of it and instead just sort of decided to get going on her grandscale adventure through this brand and brave new world. As such, she sauntered her way through the panicking and crying and screaming area that was The Circle of Judgement, and got on a road going out of the area to what she could only assume would lead her to Viridian City. Letting out a deep breath she pointed to the horizon as she said, "onward!" and started marching onward.
Username: MelenJackal Real name: Jackyl Kisara Appearance: J to the Ackyl Gender: Fee to the email (female) Age: 19 Weapon Choice 1: Sword ----> Greatsword Weapon Choice 2: Sword ----> Greatsword BECAUSE HOW CAN YOU GO WRONG WITH MORE SWORDS Summon: Astolfo Race: Leviathan Personality: Jackyl is someone who has a pretty positive and upbeat demeanor in just about situation. A free spirited individual who is always looking for more fun things to do, and is always finding fun in most things. Bio: Spoiler: Bluh As a seeker of fun and a player of games, Jackyl is someone who took to the idea of VRMMOs quite nicely. Of course, with the original release of the Nerve Gear and the subsequent release of Sword Art Online, Jackyl was hyped beyond belief, wanting nothing more than to play a game that promised an infinite amount of fun. Unfortunately, she never got the chance to do so as funds were a bit tight on release, and so she ended up missing the entire SAO incident, and was kind of bummed about it. Sure, it sounded like a horrifying social experiment that threatened the lives of all who played it, but becoming your game self and living out your life as if it were one big fantasy game still sounded absolutely amazing to her. Nevertheless, despite some weird mind control conspiracy behind Alfheim Online (which surprisingly only strengthed the VRMMO community by its end,) Jackyl finally managed to get into the games themselves. While she had a few fleeting interests in some of them here and there, none truly felt as wonderful as the game of Alfheim online. And so for the next (x amount) of time, she just sort of toiled away her days until this new game came out. Seeing that it had the exact same abbreviation as the original pioneer of VRMMOs (and consequently death games) she just had to go and try it out. Special Skill: [LOCKED] - This cant be done just yet... Past VRMMOs: ALO, that is Alfheim Online, not to be confused with the Animal Liberation Orchestra Other: Summon Name: Astolfo Weapon: Argalia - A spear. And just an above average longsword. Physical Skill: Down with a Touch - When struck by Argalia, the opponent's sense of balance is skewed with, generally causing them to lose their footing or grip on something they are holding. Cannot be used on the same target for 20 seconds after the first use. Magical Skill: Casa Di Logistilla - By using a tome on his person, Astolfo can cast a spell from the tome which breaks any form of magic upon a target. Translated into gameplay terms, this means it gets rid of any buff or debuff on a target, (the more it gets rid of, the higher the cost.) Other Skill: Hippogriff- Astolfo summons his legendary mount, a half horse half griffin thing, it is able to support the weight of up to two people. With its ability of flight, it is unrivaled in travel speed and maneuverability and has the ability to charge at increased speeds in a specific direction, dealing a large amount of damage on impact (and smaller damage in an area.) People on board the hippogriff do not take damage during this charge. Special Link: (LOCKED)
As Luna asked which direction they should go in first, Stratos just sort of stood there, in deep thought while he wondered which way would be the best. They were in a completely unknown area, so basically any which way they went was bound to go to the same place. Granted, when one was lost and separated from the rest of their group, it was best to just stay in one place. However, if everyone followed this kind of mindset, then they'd all be sitting still and no one would find anyone. Granted, he knew that given all of the people who they were split off from, they would most certainly not be sitting still, but there was no way to know if they were even in the same world as he and...uh...whatever her name was. However, the girl with the unknown name brought up a good point, and nodding he said, "alright let's get going the-" before he could finish, he was caught off by something. Well, a giant blob monster. That was certainly a first. While Stratos had gotten his keyblade at the ready to fight the thing, when sudddenly a green thing just kind of flew in and told them to get away from it. Well, that was also certainly a first as well. As he and his other green friends had subdued the creature, Stratos dismissed his keyblade, as another person came running after them, seeming to be in a bit of a hurry to catch up with them. Stratos had literally no idea who she was, or why she was following after them, but he wasn't really in any position to do anything about it at the moment. Before he could ask her just who she was, it seemed to be taken care of as they were introducing themselves to Gus now. Giving a short wave, Stratos simply had said, "my name's Stratos. Pleasure to meet you." He then stood by as the new girl, Cailyn, went on a motorcade of questions at the green guy, and simply asked, "yeah, and is there anyway we can help out with it?" He figured he might as well offer help while he could to those who may be in need of it. After all, wandering around a foreign world wasn't going to get them finding the others in any more of an efficient manner.
Chilling Out Rinox Lucien just sat there and watched the show unfold around him, as Hunter's charge was ended, quite predictably so. However, apparently this was some kind of bat signal to new people. Because right around the moment of Hunter's arm exploding, at least four people and counting were just pouring out of nowhere. Not to mention whatever it was that Gwen had just done, but hey, pulling someone out of some extra dimensional loading bay who had the power to heal people's arms conveniently wasn't the most absurd thing he had seen here yet. Jackie, who had been sitting down next to him with a bit of a quizzical look on her face, turned to him and said, "you know, exploding people's arms as an immediate reaction to being attacked doesn't really seem very hero like." Lucien shrugged and said,"yeah, funny isn't it," being pretty dismissive of the entire point. As people had continued to pour out of the wet works, there was definitely something that Lucien needed to get done, something that people were definitely forgetting. Before he was able to do anything about it, he noticed that Xero was going to go attack Dane or some shit, but honestly he didn't care enough to try an intervene any in it. Fate was already in motion, and this was their time to fuck around and do whatever they pleased."Be back in a sec," Lucien said to Jackie, who simply nodded, as Lucien got himself back up on his feet. After taking a few steps, he was behind his target in question. Clenching his fist, Lucien delivered a swift punch to the side of the head of his target as he said, "now start existing again you creepy little fuck!" While Lucien wanted to punch Bartholomew's head at full force, it would likely cause it to explode from sheer force, so he just settled for having a little oomph behind it. Walking a few steps back, he sat back down next to Jackie to continue watching the spectacle. After a few moments of silence Jackie turned to Lucien and asked, "so how did you get there and back so fast?" "I tend not to think about distance." "Oh. Okay." A bit more time went by until she had said, "so should we be like, helping people here?" "Nah." Lucien simply dismissed the comment. "Things are set in motion by fate here, so really it doesn't matter what you do. This stuff is just sort of going to happen as is. Honestly, in a cosmic sort of way, you'd probably just be annoying the people you're helping." "Oh. Okay." With that, Jackie and Lucien fell back into silence as they did nothing of note. Despite this entire large portion of drama and such going on at the moment, Rinox still felt a tad underwhelmed by everything. It wasn't as if nothing was happening, he just didn't feel all too excited by anything. Even with Xindai quite clearly being the hero, it felt as if his presence in of itself was nothing really special, and so he was quite curious as to what Xindai had said when it came to a cure to his boredom. The two scythe wielders had begun fighting each other, but if what Rinox had knew about the male was correct, then this was to be a horridly one sided fight. Though, watching Xross antagonize Xander more could probably be a good show, though as things were, Xander was far more likely to fight Dane than he was Xross at the moment. Turning back to Xindai, Rinox said with an exasperated sigh, "I hope for my sake you can, for I may just die of it." Then there was something pretty weird happening. New people were just kind of showing up, one who seemed to charge headfirst towards Xindai in raw admiration and perhaps a tad bit of lust. Turning back to Xindai he said, "well, it seems your following is already starting to amass."
You know, after awhile you'd think people would just outlaw VMMOs for this kinda stuff...Anyway, interest being noted.
ஜ Name: Sombra Alba ஜ Age (Reality and if it aplooks/acts like): Looks like mid 20s...is over 2000 years old...yeah. Originality. ஜ Appearance: STILL LOOKING PRETTY MUCH THE SAME Spoiler: Small not Small Bio 2300 years ago, there existed a woman of the light who sought nothing more than to become stronger than any other who existed. As the years progressed, the woman took every opportunity to prove and improve her skills, until one day she had finally found an opponent whom she had felt was a step above her. While she had accepted this person as her final challenge to overcome, the opportunity to defeat her challenged target never happened. Instead, the floodgates between dimensions had finally broken down, and darkness had come in like a tidal wave into the realm of light, consuming those that were not able to fight against it. Sombra was no exception. With her heart having been tainted by the darkness, she ran into a problem. She was one of the first, and as such, there was no one to confide her problem in, no one to teach her about it, and nothing for her to base her situation off of. As such, the darkness eventually consumed her, causing her mental state to degrade and her to lash out anything that had life. After being defeated by a water mage, the process of her descent to darkness had completed, and she had split into a heartless and a nobody, that wandered the remnants of the first world for a long while after the war had ended. The nobody, while still not exactly a person, continued to have a driving force behind it to simply seek out that who she had found to be her opponent. Completely mindlessly she wandered, with this single goal in mind, until the day came when both heartless and nobody were felled. Upon this having occurred, Sombra had awoken to being human once again, and realized what had occurred. Realizing that the uncontrolled darkness was still within her, she was sure that this process would continue again and again, in a never ending cycle until she learned how to temper it. As such, she spent her next few lives, trying to gain control of both her light and darkness while honing her skills. Working towards becoming the best swordsman, and only wishing to be surpassed by a swordsman of greater caliber, she worked on ways of defeating magic and magic like abilities. All the while, each and ever time she had turned into a nobody, she retained more and more of her humanity as her will to find her final challenger grew and grew in strength. As the rebirth cycles had finally passed by, Sombra had finally attained such a level of control of all aspect of her, that her darkness and light no longer were at war with each other, but rather complimented themselves. As such, the problem of her falling to darkness and becoming two beings she wasn't was never to be a problem again. However, as a consequence of all this soul and body tearing apart, it caused some weird cosmic spiritual mumbo jumbo to happen in which her body just sort of stopped aging. Since that, she has walked the entirety of the universe in search of her final challenge, continuing to hone her skills and just resolving minor incidents as she passes by them. ஜ Reason for rescuing the hero: I think this is no longer applicable. ஜ Weapon: One of them jappernese katanaers, (goes by the name Galatine (still makes equally no sense.)) ஜ Power: -Absurd Magic Resistance: She basically brushes off magic like no ones business, just sort of passively. Like the equivalent of Kassadin having a banshee's veil and 5 orbs of winter. -Absurd Physical Prowess: Despite not really having any sort of armor to compensate for her lack of physical defense, she does compensate by being super super humanly strong, fast and reactive, in addition to being a fairly peerless swordswoman altogether. -Counter Zantetsuken: Not a fan of blink executes. -Sword Artes: Combing her old magic to enhance things combined with the fact that Sombra is rather supernaturally gifted with swords, she is able to do things that would otherwise not make any sense. These are as followed Sword That Sunders Soil: This ability coats Sombra's blade in darkness, making the blade appear as if it were just a sort of void. While this doesn't do anything in terms of striking targets, it does give her sword the ability to "eat" magic. Any sort of magic or magic-like ability that touches the blade is devoured into the void. While this effect is somewhat instantaneous, it does take longer to absorb things the larger or stronger the spell is. When it comes to dealing with magical weapon, it doesn't eat the weapon on contact, but rather while they two are in contact it eats away at the magic on the weapon. Sword That Splits The Sky: This ability is the original of Sombra's sword artes, coating her blade in a white light. This simple makes the blade strike harder and with a light element imbued in it. The amount this is strengthened by is proportional to how much magic that has been absorbed by the former Sword Arte prior to using this skill, adding more strength and intensity on the blade the more magic that has been eaten. Sword That Severs Space: Dark Corridor but not. Just casually cutting rifts in space to travel around faster, NBD. Sword That Splices The Soul: "The body and soul, linked as if by strings that sew them together into the tightest of stitches. When stitches are torn apart, beasts are realized into the world, and when they are vanquished, the whole is sewn back to one once more. Though through successive separation, those strings fray, and when they become thinner than light, a true terror is born." ஜ Other:
Rho sat silent and expressionless in the bar beside Aias. This place unsettled him. I felt wrong. Not as though it were dangerous, but more as though it were dirty. He could feel sin. None of the others seemed to notice this, or if they did, they didn't care. He wasn't even sure what it was. Just an odd feeling. It wasn't unlike what had happened when the spirits had been summoned at Nessa's palace, though that had been more extreme. Just a feeling that was not his own, telling him something. This place didn't seem dangerous, but it seemed unclean. He was brought from his thoughts by two blonde women bringing Rho and himself drinks. The accents both of them had were thick, but not to the point where they couldn't be understood. It would be rude to refuse the drinks, especially when they were invited here and given them for free. Picking up one of the mugs, Rho pressed it to his lips. "We've never been to this Tavern before. This would be the first time." He said without making eye contact.
Stratos followed everyone to the castle just to see what was going on there. As it turned out, there were some problems going on with Mickey Mouse and the giant Pete lookalike, Julius. While Mortimer had already explained this to them, regardless, it was still a bit of a shocker to see. Getting ready to fight Mortimer, though, Stratos drew out his keyblade just as the problem had seemingly resolved itself in a rather neat and tidy manner. Feeling like the matter was basically over, Stratos relaxed a bit as suddenly Mortimer pulled out a book and that thing just sort of ate all of the keyblade wielders around the area. Waking up in a pretty unfamiliar area, Stratos was momentarily confused as to what had just happened, but given that they had traveled to a tower in the past via an ink blot, (which subsequently lead to them being transported to various other dimensions by music and more books,) he got over it quickly and was very accepting of the situation. Looking around him, he saw that this place seemed pretty different than any of the worlds he had been to prior. Well, all except for one. Given the technological look of the place, he was slightly reminded of the Order's home world, Central Haven. But even then, this place had a different vibe to it, and he was slightly unsettled by all of it. Then looking back, he noticed that he was no longer with everyone else. Just two people from their rather large group. Both of them he recognized, but didn't actually know their names. One he knew as that guy who was always with Ananta, and the other he knew as the projectile Karina had used against Arma. Hm, well this made adventuring a tad awkward. Which meant that in order to make things less awkward he needed to find the other people that he did know. Yes, this was a good starting point to go off of. "Hey guys, let's get going," he called out to them. "We have people to find and a whole lot of unexplored ground to cover." Despite what he had said, looking at the unfamiliar landscape, Stratos had no idea where he was supposed to start with this place.
I'VE MADE TOO MANY POSTS OF JUST ONE LINER NONSENSE! NOW LET US JUST GO DOWN IN ONLY NUMBERS AND NOTHING ELSE! I CHOOSE THE PATH THAT IS ROUTE NUMBER OPEN PARENTHESES FOURTEEN CLOSE PARENTHESES!
Powering onward, Lucia had decided to go and see just what was down the not end routes, and kept on keeping on, until she went to go on down the number (12) path.
As she walked down part of the maze she looked around at the two ways she could go. Putting her hand to her chin, she got a pensive look on her face as she tried to figure just which way would be the best way. On the one hand she'd be venturing off into the unknown. On the other hand, she'd be venturing off into the area that'd probably be a dead end. Hm, well, neither option seemed to be particularly favorable really, but hey, no time like the present to go and pick a route to go on. With that, Lucia simply traveled down the (8) path and off into the unknown.
Thinking on which way to go, Lucia had watched as Malkira and Alisa went down their own paths. Well, if they were all splitting up now she might as well go down her own route as well. Without much indication of what was the right way to go, Lucia just decided to go down the green path. After having been knocked out for the grand majority of the fight, Aoki awoke to see that they had managed to win against Erigor. Well, even if she wasn't the most useful in that fight, it was still good to see that everything had turned up Milhouse in the end. However, before any sort of celebration could be had, Kageyama had decided to go and grab the flute, and make a grand get away. While they tried to follow him, they had eventually managed to catch up with him just in time to stop him from playing the flute. When asked their names by some of the other guild masters, Aoki simply replied with, "Aoki." Now that introductions were out of the way, the group seemed to be questioning Kageyama about the entirety of his guild's knowledge and where they got it from. Looking to Jack she said, "rather than speculate about it anymore I also have to wonder," she turned back to Kageyama, "what exactly is lullaby? What's so special about this flute of yours that made you think it'd be a good idea to use it here?"
Lucien, Jackie, Charlotte Rinox With the death of the dragon, it had seemed that everything started happening at once now. The last of the wielders of the keyblade needed had done just what the hero wanted, and unlocked the final seal on his age old prison. With it came a force of unimaginable darkness that seemed to be overwhelmingly imposing on just about everyone else. A white haired man, who seemed to have an odd sort of air about him, and one that was familiar to some, distressing to others, and sanctified to the last few. With a slightly indifferent look on his face, Lucien just sort of stood there as he saw what this so called hero was able to do when there were those who tried to oppose him, knowing full well just what kinds of bullshit they'd be met with. While this counter attack from the white haired man wasn't exactly grounds to call someone evil, something about him seemed very off and unsettling to Charlotte, and as such, the grip around her blade tightened as she seemed as though she wished to suddenly be one of those that had existed solely to kill the hero. Making sure this didn't get anymore out of hand, though, Lucien had simply delivered a swift chop to the side of the neck, knocking her out and making sure she couldn't do anything irrevocably stupid. Jackie, meanwhile, seemed to be overall pretty positive about everything that was going on. Yes sir-ree, she had been across multiple worlds, fought numerous creatures (like a magical dark pony,) and it had all come together to a nice ending in which the hero was released and the universe was saved...probably. Jackie actually had no idea why these people were searching for this hero, but hey, they had found him so that meant everything was going to be fine. Looking at Lucien, she saw him knocking out the blonde haired girl as, though took no note of it as that just seemed to be the kind of person he was. "So," she said, "adventures over now, right?" Shaking his head, Lucien answered,"sadly not. You see, if things were to end in a nice little wrapped up package right now, then there wouldn't be anymore unnecessary and needless drama in the world. And you know what, the universe seems to love that shit." Scratching his head, he then followed up with,"besides, this little poorly written journey has barely just begun at this point, so don't have the credits roll in your head just yet." Jackie seemed a bit confused by this, but given who she was talking to, she put it at something that was par for the course really. As he had ended up getting ready to entertain himself in a fight with the legendary assassin of the shadows, it had seemed that it was not meant to be. With a stray keyblade wielder making their way into the cavern, the hero was released, and thus anything he did now, completely meaningless. Standing down and letting Ghost do whatever he pleased at this point, Rinox just stood by as he saw just who this hero was. Raising an eyebrow, with a slight chuckle, Rinox had come to the realization of just what this all was. He had always figured that this whole hero business wasn't quite like it had appeared, but this was just a tad bit unexpected. He then looked and saw that another familiar face was here in this graveyard. Well, this was looking to be quite the little reunion in this desolate land of death. "My my, what do we have here," Rinox had said, completely ignoring the fact that Hunter was attacking "The Hero" as it was obvious as to how it was going to end. "To think that we had all lived through these years is a tad remarkable, but I suppose forgoing aging isn't entirely as hard to attain as it used to be. Nevertheless," looking to the white haired wielders of darkness, "it's a pleasure to see you again, Xross and India."
As the group continued to travel throughout the entirety of the maze, it seemed that everything had been going just fine for everyone in the groups. Getting a little bit of money here and there, they seemed to be on the right track on going to the exit of this maze. Thinking about which place they wanted to go explore next, Lucia thought of their next two options, as Beucette kind of walked off and did her own thing. The girl was probably going to get herself killed, but hey, at least they'd know which way not to go. "Just make sure to group up back with everyone if we find the exit," she remarked to the white haired girl. Deciding to travel onward, Lucia went with Malkira on the path to The Down.
Lucia followed Mizuki to the blue dead end. Surprise! I don't know why, but it's a sarcastic surprise so deal with it!
