After having felt the icy blast of Boreal's attacks, Charlotte had gone out whilst defending Ra. She continued to lay there until a wave of healing energy had come over her and brought herself back up onto her feet, only to see where the healing energy had come from. As it had turned out, two S-Class members, Caliborn and Mikasa, had come to the location where they had been fighting Boreal. Looking further, she saw that Calxiyn too was with them. As Mikasa had let loose a small tirade of words that seemed to be of clearly harsh and bitter origin, Charlotte had nodded at what Veilen had said and then stared Mikasa in the eye. "I'm sorry if you were to be mistaken in thinking we had come to this area for a simple picnic and disregarded the job. However, the task we had here was dealing with a curse over the island. This place was not only the most likely source of that curse, but it had also ended with us finding a man driven by obsession to unseal a demon that likely would have caused far greater ruin than the pressing curse over the island would ever do. So I apologize if we seem to have a slight look of joy at present." The last thing she had seemed to say with an uncharacteristic tone of sarcasm. She then turned to face Calxiyn and with a more harsh voice, "and there was another reason we had come here to begin with. As a guild member of ours had seen fit to split themselves off and separate themselves from our group, only to be captured and caused for our immediate search for her location. Someone, who I don't understand why they would be so overjoyed over Boreal's defeat as they had seen fit to ally themselves against their comrades and aid in the delusion that the man had." She then turned away from her and said to the rest, in a more calm voice, "though I suppose the point still stands that the curse isn't broken and we still must find a way to break it." She then looked to the purple moon in the sky through the hole in the ceiling and seemed to come to some sort of a realization. Turning back to Caliborn and Mikasa, she had asked, "would either of you happen to know the affects of a ritual known as the Moon Drip?" After having brought down Virgo, Aoki and Rho had to go in and use another attack once more to bring the plump Everlue down and successfully beat this mission. However, Rho seemed a tad worse for wear compared to the other guild members, and so Aoki just used cure on him. Rho then followed up on Everlue by using blitz against him. As Lucia listened to what Thomas had said about what he needed, he ended with needing a reason to fight. Sipping her drink, Lucia pondered on it for a bit as she had looked back to him saying, "well, if a reason to fight is what you need, just look around. I mean, isn't helping out people in need, helping out your friends, and just safeguarding this chaotic family of a guild a reason enough to?" Once Thomas had told her to keep this side of him a secret from the others, she said, "well, I think others would think this side of you is cool, but if a secret is what you want it to be, then," pretending to zip her lips with one of her hands and flick away an imaginary key, she said, "your secret's safe with me."
Getting in the way of the attacks once more, Charlotte had shielded against the large majority of the icy storm protecting both herself and Dale from any sort of harm. However, things were not looking so well for Ra, as Boreal had conjured up another ice creature that flew in the air and bore down upon him. As Boreal taunted the group, Charlotte announced, "no matter how many of us go down, and no matter who does so next, we shall not falter. It matters not who goes down, but that we get back up, and that our will to do so shall never break. We will continue to come back again and again, and if we cannot ourselves, then we all have a helping hand to do so for us. Your ice will shatter, your wings will break, and you will fall. And when you do, you will have no one to help to bring you back!" After giving the obligatory friendship speech, Charlotte then used cure on Ra to help him back on his feet, and put herself in the way of Boreal's attacks and Ra.
After having felled his dragon, the group ended falling down back into the room with Deliora. It had appeared that they were getting ready to end the fight as Boreal seemed to not be pulling any punches against them now. With a icy body, he challenged the group and took flight. While Charlotte couldn't entirely hit him as it was, she still coated herself in a barrier surge and went to block for Dale.
So it had turned out that they were in a combat. Well, that was certainly an interesting development. And given that Everlue had left the giant maid who had appeared as the only target to be attacked, well...she was the only thing to be attacked. And so, Rho went to simply use blitz on the maid to bring her down. After Aoki had secured the book, something definitely weird had happened. Like a speeding bullet, that was massive in size and no really as fast as a bullet....like a speeding cannonball, Aoki saw some spinning blob break through part of the library. Walking towards the hole she created, she saw that the others were down there and fighting both Everlue and what appeared to be a terrifyingly large maid. Looking to Zephyr Aoki said, "well, let's go get this over with." Aoki jumped to the hole and used blitz on the maid. Having blocked the damage of gigantic icy tail smash of the giant ice dragon, Charlotte things seemed to be slightly working out. However, the floor around them seemed to be breaking apart, meaning they had to get rid of the dragon soon or bad things were likely to happen. Gripping her blade tightly, Charlotte went to attack the beast with blitz, then going to block for Ra who had seemed to be taking a fair bit of damage. As the commotion had begun amongst all of the other S-Classes, Thomas had said something about them walking around and owning the place. Lucia let out a slight chuckle as she watched the antics and said, "nah, not like they own the place. It feels more like they're just really comfortable here, like it's their home, you know?" Thomas then proceeded to compliment her once more, though she completely missed the part where he had said this was a date and said, "well, if you just want to sit down and talk with someone that sounds more like you just need to find yourself a friend rather than a girlfriend that you seem to keep going after. Those are the kind of people you can just sit down and talk about anything with really. And you can never have too many of those."
Stratos listened to what Beuce had to say as he sighed once Crybex actually started to take action against them. This was going to be a bit of a bit of a doozy to deal with. With wind picking up around him, Stratos said, "first someone becomes literally invincible and now this. You know I tell ya Beuce, fighting people is just getting weirder as time goes on." This was then verified by Beuce gaining some weird spikes and tendrils to fight with that grew out of his body. Spinning his keyblade so that it was coated in wind, he threw it and started guiding it along to deflect the lasers as he himself started to cast spells. Yelling out, "Aerogora!" Stratos had created a large wind barrier on himself, followed by creating a seperate one over Beuce. Having gotten hit by a few of the lasers from what the hell was shooting them, Stratos didn't really pay much mind to this as the barrier had taken a good bit of the force, as well as his Keyblade having deflected a good portion of it. However, he felt the need to keep up a counter attack as he started flicking wrists in every which direction firing off blades to wind to deflect attacks and strike back at the angels. As Phantom had gone to go bring the dude to Sapphire, he did not seem so willing to go with him. In fact, he tried to explode him with a dark firaga. Rude. As the guy began to run away, he wasn't entirely sure as to why he was even here in the first place. Clearly, he wasn't here to turn himself in, so what was he doing on Riel, near the Goddess's palace when he was formally working against her? Not really being able to think of a reason, Phantom still had his orders to carry out, and so he would. Bolting off towards the target, Phantom had managed to sort of weave through the crowd in a more graceful manner than just brute forcing one's way's through. He had eventually closed the distance between the two, such that Phantom sprung forward and went to kick him in the back of the leg to stop him from moving any further. "Alright, the hell are you doing here if you aren't turning yourself in?" As Rinox had listened to what Xander had said, he found it interesting as it had seemed Xander was a man who did everything for the girl. Though he could understand his desire to protect the girl, he wasn't entirely sure why he had centered his entire life around her. However, it was clear as well that there was a long standing animosity between Dane and the two, and so he was looking forward to the results of their next confrontation. As Xander then asked about Rinox himself, he just gave him a straight answer. "I am here because I am looking for something to interest me. You see, I've been around the worlds for awhile, and things start to get stale and boring after some time. This merely seemed like something that was a bit new. And my silence is simply because I enjoy observing others and watching how they deal with a situation."
With the two of them now free of maids and having the entire library to search, it'd be as good a time as any to see if she couldn't find the book. Wanting to make sure that she didn't miss anything when it came to looking for this book, she walked over to the book shelf that she had knocked down and started looking through the books scattered across the ground. After sifting through a fair bit of them, her face had lit up as she had found a book that they had been looking for. Grabbing the Daybreak book, Aoki held it up to show Zephyr saying, "found it. Now, let's get out of here before any more of these maids show up." As the group had ended up dealing with maids it seemed that everyone was ready to start leaving as well. As Malkira had burst through the door, Rho simply turned to Zephryne and had said, "well, I suppose we should rejoin with them so that the trouble they get themselves into should lessen." Following after Malkira, he had saw that Vance too had acted against Everlue by throwing a spell at him. As that was an obvious cue to leave, Rho had simply walked towards the door to open it for everyone else. Charlotte had felt as though she hadn't conciously decided to go and use blitz against Boreal, but nevertheless she was happy that she had ended up doing so anyway. Shaking off her short bout of auto pilot, she had seen that Boreal had now had another ice dragon and more ice eagles to deal with, however, that wouldn't deter her whatsoever. Striking at the Crystallarax with Barrier Surge, Charlotte then went to go block for Gaius after having done so. As Thomas had explained to her where his flirtatious attitude had come from, she looked back to him and said, "well, confidence is fine and all, but when you're trying to act confident, it comes off more as overconfidence, which can kind of be a bit of a turn off." It was then that she realized something else about what he had said. "Wait, what do you mean by not much ti-" before she could really finish her question, S-Class members that Lucia hadn't seen yet had burst through the door and everything started to get a lot...louder.
ONWARD CREW! Phantom Stratos Rinox On Wings of Justice Lucien As Jackie was all hyped up and ready to go forward on to the their adventure towards treasure, and an entire planet at that, another newcomer had joined them. Jackie had seen her before, however, that was only really in passing. Nevertheless, Jackie was thrilled that she had actually taken the initiative to introduce herself unlike all those other introverts from the group who had seen it fit to just sort of do things with group members without even knowing their group member's names. Rude much. As she was about to introduce herself, good old Lexi had sort of just portaled in, talked to his lover and lover's brother, and then portaled out. Well, that was a tad bit on the random side. She then looked back to the Samsara person, and said, "hello there Samsara. Welcome aboard the JA Adventure Hero Hunting Friend Ship, or JAAHHFS for short." Pointing to herself with a proud look on her face, she explained, "I am this lovely abandoned vessel's esteemed self appointed Captain, Prime Minister, President, and Overlord of all Things Fun and Funky Fresh, Jackie Album. Standing next to me here is my first mate, Vice President and Head Salad Chef, Blanc. Over there," she pointed to Zavion and Freya saying, "they are both in charge of maintaining this ship's awesome and overall inspiring appearance, in addition to being divinely great not salad chefs and absolutely celestial cabin mates. They are, Zavion and Freya, respectively. And he!" She pointed over to Ohm...only to pause for a brief moment as she then continued, in as prideful but more hesitant voice, "is the local lookout scout, who uh, um...I don't know his name because he never talks, but dammit he's wonderful at what he does!" After having explained everything, Blanc sniffed the air for a second and raised an eyebrow at Samsara. Jackie, rolling wonderfully on her Perception check then looked to him and said, "what is it first mate Blanc?" He looked back to her and calmly said, "we've already met her, so you didn't need to introduce us again." "Please Blanc," she explained to him waving her hand as if to wave away his comments, "I think I'd remember someone with white hair and red eyes. After all, I don't know anyone like that." She said, contently nodding to herself. As Blanc gave her a neutral look she then looked back at him for a second, before averting her eyes away and amending her previous statement. "Who also happens to be female." She then turned back to her wonderful crew of swashbucklers and said, "all right then, let us move onward towards adventure!" And because I know fuck all about Treasure Planet, that's about as far as I can go. Phantom had simply been at his workshop the entire time he had been back at Riel. While he probably could have gotten something better to classify as such a place, outwardly it was just a somewhat run down looking shack outside of the goddess's city. Inside, it was still on the run down side, but there were tons of loose metal parts and tools hanging all around. On the table in the center, Phantom was working on making a few new things. There were a few books just sort of lying open, one with a bunch of schematic notes and the other with notes on what appeared to be magic. While Phantom hadn't quite come to his conclusion on new magic for himself yet, he was just about finished with a new weapon suitable for close combat. While his rifle, Verdict, was generally all purpose, he needed something to help him out in more close combat situations. And so he created this new handgun in order to cater to that need. There was also Kaminari, but Phantom didn't really think it was the most effective way of fighting. As he had finished the weapon, he then got a message from Sapphire telling him to go bring someone at the front of her palace to her. Letting out a sigh, Phantom went to put on his jacket as shadow traveled straight to the area in question, seeing the person standing there. As he was about to just carry out his duty, he realized who it was that was standing there. "Hey, you, you're one of those guys who was at The World That Never Was. Come to turn yourself in finally, good good. Regardless, I got orders from the big boss to go and bring you to her so, let's get going." With that, Phantom had started walking towards Sapphire's place, guiding Lexcifur along. After having been defeated at Olympus Colosseum, Stratos had decided to fly his way straight back to Riel. As he flew there, he wondered just what exactly he was going to do next and so as he was about to land on the planet, something weird happened. An emerald meteor came out of nowhere and hit Stratos's keyglider, causing him to lose balance and fall further down to the planet, where he, thankfully, landed on one of Crybex's weird light angel things to soften the blow. Casting cure on himself, he then looked at the weird light guy, and then saw Beuce, casually saying, "oh hey you're alive." Looking at Crybex he then said, "so I guess we're supposed to be taking him down?" Rinox had simply been following the bear Xander and Moose, now accompanied with Sherridan as well, as they had continued to go and search for the hero in this world. Overall this place had seemed overall dull and completely uninteresting, but it was a bit of a necessary evil he had supposed, as this was so far one of the only actual places that could most likely house the hero. Exchanging a shake with the moose, Rinox had simply said, "I am Rinox. A pleasure to meet you Carl." He then turned to Xander and said, "so, Xander, tell me. What drives you to find this hero? I mean, aside from saving Alisia as that was a recent event, there had to be something driving you on prior to this." After the whole thing with Dane had settled down and the legend had been recounted once more, Charlotte had seen most people leave to their world of choice. Now, while Charlotte had felt slightly uneasy around those practitioners of darkness, she had to admit their ability to travel universally anywhere at any given time was pretty handy. Regardless, Charlotte had been tossed a map by the blue haired man, and seen where in space she had to travel to. Sprouting out wings of light, she flew through the roof of the building and off through space. Now, while some may question as to why Charlotte is able to fly through space without protection, there is a better question to be asking. Why is there a giant floating whale in space? That's what I thought. Anyway, Charlotte had ended up flying all the way to a giant space ship and briefly wondered as to why the hero would possibly be in here, but there was scant logic behind most things that had happened thus far. Landing on the ship, she looked for an opening outside, and realized that this one of those times you had to make a door. And so, she simply took her blade and struck at the hull of the ship, creating a large opening that she just sort of jumped through. The ship then used some weird emergency breach repair system thingamajigger, and everything was all gucci. Continuing her walk in the ship, she eventually saw Caleb and his daughter and called out, "Caleb. Glad to see someone else on this odd ship. Have you found anything on the hero yet?" Lucien had simply been chilling at the library flipping through a book. As he was sifting through the pages, he had simply looked up for a second as he noticed something. "Man, I feel an overwhelmingly large amount of stupidity..." he paused for a brief moment as he went to go look back at his book saying, "everywhere."
Lucia had started listening intently at what had Thomas had to say about his parents. While she was said to hear about her father, she was absolutely fascinated by the description he had of his mother. She seemed like an extremely admirable lady, and Lucia thought that she seemed to be really super awesome all the while as well. However, her expression of joy while listening had faded away as Thomas had finished his recounting with how his mother was no longer with him. While she had a somewhat somber expression on her face after listening to it, she had to immediately perk back up as he had gone to apologize for telling her about his parents. "Oh no no, it was nice hearing about your own family." He then proceeded to go back into complimenting her some more to which she just said, "I suppose they are. I mean, my dad's a bit on the lazy side but he's a reliable guy, and my mom...well I probably don't hold a candle to her. But if I've got something wonderful about me, then they probably are to thank." After taking a sip of her drink she said, "you know Thomas, you're a pretty alright guy when you're just acting like you. Things would probably work out better when you're trying to talk to Scarlett if you just acted like you instead of trying to impress someone." She then stopped and thought for a second and, making a joke, said, "well, nevermind, Scarlett's a bit of an ice princess with a tire iro no matter who you are." Charlotte had watched as Boreal had unleashed a new flurry of attacks at them with his ice tendrils. While Dale seemed to take it the worst, he was still in fighting condition, and gave them all new, albeit weaker, shields to use to defend themselves against. While Charlotte herself didn't think that she'd be able to puncture that icy armor of his with her usual output of damage, the others with their efforts combined would no doubt be able to deal some damage to him. So she just had to go on her way and defend to make sure that everyone could still fight perfectly fine. Charlotte used Barrier Surge followed by blocking the damage for Dale. Charlotte also hoped that her gaia bangle would come right back into existence during this fight. Like seriously, what's up with that shit dog? After having been beaten down by a maid, Aoki stood herself back and saw that Zephyr had soundly taken on the one who had knocked her out. Letting out a sigh of relief, Aoki used cure on both herself and Zephyr as she extended out her fist to Zephyr, saying, "nice work against them. You sure cleaned house against those maids." After letting out a mental groan to herself, she then looked back at the library and said, "alright then, well I suppose we should get back to looking for this book then."
Lucia had continued sitting there as Thomas had informed her that the other mission group that had come back had had a rough time. Nodding a bit she said, "yeah, sounds like some bad stuff happened there." After her comment, Thomas than proceeded to start making comment about how her appearance and how she had apparently always looked pretty and the magical girl outfit just seemed to accentuate it or something. Letting out a bit of a nervous laugh and scratching the back of her head she said, "no no, it's fine. I didn't take any offense at all. But, thanks. I uh, don't get that a lot." That being the truth, she didn't really know how to react to it, and so there was just a bit of air of awkwardness between the two. As he asked about her family, she started thinking on it and was about to respond when Johanna had shown up and commented on the two's being together at the moment. At the notion that they had bonded over the course of the last mission, Lucia thought back to it a bit more. She said, "I don't think we actually talked to each other all that much during the mission. Huh." Shrugging she said, "but you were asking about my folks right? Well, my dad works with the law enforcement of the town, though, because there's never much going on there but still an overall good guy. And then there's my mom, who's a baker and runs a bakery that generally is one of those social gathering areas and she's just an overall wonderful person." Going to take a sip of her drink, she then looked back to Thomas and Johanna, and said, "so what about you guys? What're your parents like?" After having nearly killed a maid, Rho looked to everyone else and said, "good job. Now, I don't think it'd be in proper taste to go and strike them down anymore then we have. So, shall we continue onward with our exploration?" Rho then had the thought of Aoki and Zephyr and how it was likely that there were more than just these maids. Ah well, they probably had things covered. Probably. After Aoki had healed up Zephyr, she then turned her attention to the maid in front of her and decided that with both her's and Zephyr's combined effort she could go down fairly easily. Hopefully. And so, Aoki hopped the person, using blitz on that maid and hopefully being rid of these oh so wonderful looking maids. After having slammed into one of the drakes, Charlotte then turned her attention to attacking one more of them. Readying her blade, she then decided to go in and strike at Wyrm 2 with blitz. Unless it died before she did...and then in which case she attack Wyrm 4...unless of course that died as well and that would only really leave Boreal to take the attack. Afterwards, she then went to body block for Ra.
After having, quite easily, dispatched of these now much weaker maids, Rho turned his attention to the other two comrades of his. They seemed to be in some bit of a bind themselves, though, Rho couldn't help both of them at once. No. However, Zephyrine had basically won her fight at this point and Malkira wasn't exactly in position to easily lose, though it was still a rough possibility. As such, Rho went to go and use blitz on the maid that Malkira was fighting. In aid. And totally not to kill steal at all. Why would he ever do that? So, Zephyr was getting his ass handed to him too. Good to know that Aoki wasn't the only one fairing badly, though, she would have preferred at least one of them doing well. But, oh well, they had to work with what they had. As such, Aoki went to go support the guy who was kind of not doing so hot and used cure on him to hopefully make him not die. Charlotte used Barrier Surge on a Wyrm...one of them. I dunno. I mean, if none of them die after this AOE assault then I guess a random one, if some do die then one that's still alive and if they all died then Boreal. I mean, Charlotte does have the slowest speed so it'd be a bit stupid for her to go last and then attack something already dead. Afterwards she blocks for Gaius.
I wish you luck in their hopefully remembered existence...
Having blocked against the spear of Boreal's once again, Charlotte had noticed that Gaius's shield was starting to give underneath the constant pressure he was receiving. And so, Charlotte decided that he would be the next person that she would defend instead. Running up and unleashing Blitz on Boreal, Charlotte then went back to protect Gaius from any oncoming attacks.
Lucien continued to just sit there and wait for people to allocate themselves to their worlds, when suddenly something he didn't expect to really happen happened. Samsara had walked over to him and asked if he were going anywhere. He wondered what suddenly brought around this sort of change in her demeanor, as she was fairly certain that she hated him. Not really taking his eyes off of what he was reading, Lucien simply said,"nah, I'm not feeling particularly inclined to be a bystander to drama or doing absolutely nothing again." He continued to figure that she would just leave, however, she then seemed to proceed to talk to him more. And it appeared she wanted...life advice? Well that was a new one. For the most part, plot related things not withstanding, no one really asked much of him ever, so he had basically zero experience in this sort of department. Letting out a sigh, Lucien tossed the book behind him, and looked up so that he was clearly addressing her."Whether or not you should continue doing what you're doing isn't any of my business. After all, the only person who can decide on that is yourself. As for what to do," he had a pensive look on his face as he put his hand to his chin. "Well, when you're walking down a dark path, you got slow down and focus a little more than normal. Otherwise, you're just gonna fuck up, get flustered and fuck up more. And if you lose," he shrugged and said,"don't fuck up and try not to lose again. Simple as that really." With that said and done, Lucien had retrieved another book and had continued to go back to reading once more.
Lucia was trying to think of just what the song that Taylor was playing was, but she couldn't really bring it to mind. Well, she didn't really know much about music in general, regardless, so, she felt it only natural that she couldn't figure this one out. As she was about to respond to the girl, Thomas had come over and asked if he could steal her away. Giving a short wave to the two she said, "later Zwei, nice meeting you Taylor." As the duo had started walking towards the bar, there seemed to be some argument between one of their guild members and Evanora. Lucia knew...pretty little about both of them really. The person yelling she had seen a bit prior to their mission but knew next to nothing about, and Evanora...well other than the fact that she was really strong as proven in the fight with Ezekiel, she didn't really see much of her either. Not to mention she didn't even know what they were arguing about, so she just sort of didn't pay attention to it whatsoever. As the duo had eventually sat down, Lucia started to think on Thomas's offer until saying, "anything with grape in it is fine really." After she had ordered it she then said, "so, that was some mission we were on, huh? Didn't think things could escalate that fast really."
Rho used quick blitz, Aoki used cure. 10/10 quality.
After Charlotte had struck Boreal, she went to defending Dale. As such, she had interfered with Boreal once more as he let loose these chains to try and bind the man. Taking the blow for him, Charlotte was stuck, and would have been in a lot of trouble had it not been for Dale's shield of ice. Thankfully, other than the feeling of restraint and the breaking down of said ice shield, she still felt alright. It was then that Veilen had come to assist her and broke the chains that had bound her. Nodding a thanks to her comrade, she then ran at Boreal, using barrier surge. Afterwards, she went to go block for Dale once more. As Lucia had made it back to the guild, she had noticed that the group was the first one back from the rest of the guildmates, who were presumably also on missions. She wondered how it was going for them, however, as others had come in they seemed to be a bit disheartened. She didn't really feel like going to ask if them if were alright or not, since it would probably be a pretty depressing time talking with them. Instead, she was about to go sit down at a table when she realized something. She was still in her pretty odd attire, that hadn't really changed back on the way home. She was wondering what she was supposed to do about it, as it just sort of magically appeared on her and replaced her old clothes, however, perhaps changing out of them and into new ones would solve the problem! Walking to her dorm room, she soon went to find her clothes, and saw her wardrobe of strangely completely identical clothing. After all, it was important to stick with a look once you found it. However, as soon as she picked it up, it changed into the outfit she was currently wearing. Lucia just sort of stared at it with an unamused face and wondered what her next plan of attack was. She then realized that this was done by the magic of the wand of light, which seemed to be some sort of ultimate dispelling tool. Pulling it out, she said, "alright wand of light, please turn my clothes back to normal." With that, the wand dispelled its own magic over her wardrobe and she was back to looking normal. Letting out a sigh of relief, she then realized something. She still had the wand of light. Well, that was something. Worrying about it for a bit, she then realized no one had really cared that it was still on her person, at all, and between the two people who wielded it, she was actually able to use it. Not to mention that it was made from the metal of her daggers, so that probably made it hers anyway. Trying to wrap her around it, she just sort of shrugged it off and decided that it was a good souvenir from her adventure, and since no one really wanted it or anything, a parting gift from Annika. That worked. Probably. Putting it away, Lucia walked back outside to see that everyone was just sort of doing their own thing. She was currently waiting to get her drink from Thomas, but he probably had some sort of things to take care of or other girls that needed to talk to. So, she had some time to kill first and saw that there was a new face amongst them. Well, a lot of the faces here, bar the Astedia group ones, were pretty unfamiliar to her, however this was someone she had zero recollection of ever seeing before. Walking over to Zwei and the newcomers area, she gave a short wave and said, "hey there newbie, name's Lucia. And this here," she pointed to the blond guy next to her, "is Zwei. Which you probably knew if he already introduced himself, in which case I am repeating things you already know. Whoops."
Aoki had this really strange feeling. One minute, she felt as though she and Zephyr were in some sort of god awful situation where there was no way they could possibly get out of it. Or at least they'd have to be stupid lucky to do that. However, now they were totally fine, and everything was most certainly going to work out. Probably. Let's be real there was still a chance for things to get totally out of hand. But less so now! And so, Aoki thought of what to do, what move she could use to quickly dispatch of these maids. Generating a burst of wind behind a book case, Aoki used Aero on a book case so that it would fall on the maid and deal a good deal of damage to her. And hopefully not kill her. I mean, she was still pretty pissed at the maids, but murder was not something she wanted to be charged with. Rho looked around as the fight had apparently gone back to square one and shrugged. He then proceeded to use Blitz on the maid and hopefully have an easy time with this fight. Hopefully.
Zephine looked at Galia as she had said that it wasn't her fault because of a giant sun throwing dude, and something about seeing why she didn't trust anyone. As she walked away to the training grounds, Zephine pointed in her direction and said, "I thought she didn't trust people because she was just naturally a bitch." With that said, Zephine also had felt the feelings of failure that had been accompanied with their, well, failure in protecting their world. She did feel the need to get stronger, but more so to go and kick some angel ass. Really, saving the worlds was starting to become less of an ideal for her, as she had realized that the only real fun that she was deriving from was fighting these angels and their monsters. Really, she just wanted to beat them all now. Be a sort of demonic messenger shooter to their angelic emissary ways. Going to the training grounds herself, Zephine created her orb in front of her and looked at it for a moment. She didn't know why, but there was a feeling that there was something more to this orb than just what she had so far. Thinking of the name, Thunder Palace, it turned into a black longsword that seemed to be crackling with electricity. Spinning the blade in her hand, followed by slashing a few times at a training dummy, with it feeling pretty natural. She then changed it into something called Four Star, which seemed to take the form of two gauntlets and two greaves with stars embed on each of them. Wondering how she was supposed to actually punch things, she thought back to Alkes, and just sort of naturally mimicked his movements. Delivering a few blows to the dummy, she hit it with one final strike that seemed to have more impact behind it than the others. "Man, these are pretty awesome," she said looking at her new weapons.
To say that Stratos had an infinite amount of stamina was a bit of a mistatement. Physically, his strength and speed were pretty much in as poor of a condition as one could get. And while that didn't determine his stamina, which was above average, it made him expend it a lot faster. Though while he didn't have an infinite amount, quite like a hero chosen from one story, he was just very good at delaying when his stamina depletion hit him. After having done nothing but talk, move, fight since the end of Camelot to this moment, Stratos had done a lot. He had worked himself pretty hard, and so while he was in the Mysterious Tower, after having done all that fighting for this world, he was asleep. Just sort of conked out, he slept through a good majority of what had actually happened, and only woke up in time to see that they were leaving the world via portal ink. Also, portal ink was apparently a thing. Stretching himself out and yawning, he accepted the gift from Yen Sid, albeit in a bit of a stupor and said, "oh, th-thanks." After that was said and done, Stratos had went alongside everyone else, trying to get himself awake, and then finally exited the world. When the group had gotten out of the world and back to Disney Town, Kaida seemed to be flipping out and Karina seemed to be going into solitary confinement or something. As he was about to reply to Kaida, he yawned first and said, "yeah, he was. Man," he turned to Beuce and Glen and said, "I don't know how far back that was but he doesn't look any younger at all, kind of funny really. Also," he held out the sash they had gotten and said, "he always seems to be the best kind of gift giver there is."
ADVENTURE Quality Lucien the Librarian CARDS Treasure. That was literally the only word that Jackie had bothered to remember when Gingersnap was reading the legend. Treasure. And where there was a planet of treasure, there was bound to be adventure, and where there was adventure there was bound to be...uh...some other third thing! And so, treasure chests in her eyes, Jackie turned to Blanc, and he had seemingly known just what she had been thinking. A wonderful partner in crime, that he was. With a flick of his wrist, there was suddenly a tear in space for the duo to travel through. Once they had both hopped through it, Jackie had seen just who was there. "Freya! Freya's brother! Anadi's domestically abused brother!" She then took a look of her surroundings and realized something. This. Was. Not. Anything...BUT AWESOME! A flying boat. In space. A space boat if you would. Or..."Alright crew! Our goal is to find this Planet filled with Treasure! For where there is treasure, there are probably dungeons! And where there are dungeons, there are caves! And where there are caves, there is allegedly heroes! Now then, Crew of the JA Adventure Hero Hunting Friend Ship! Let us set sail and onward!" With an enthusiastic "woo!" Jackie pumped her fist to the air, with a less than halfhearted mimicry by Blanc. Charlotte went to...uh...hm...this is a tough one. Uhhhh..........the least populated world! Such quality. With all of the world's having been revealed, Lucien just sort of sat there. He was pretty alright with Gwen stealing his usual gig, since that just sort of saved him a good two hours of bull shitting reasoning for going to these places. However, he had to give Gwen some credit for the great originality in the world names. Really, that raw creative talent was truly and utterly astonishing. Sitting back he watched as people had allocated themselves to differing worlds, not really having much of a preference to go to any one of them himself. All that was going to happen was either absolutely nothing or more drama. Neither of which he was particularly in the mood for. In fact, just staying in this library away from...people seemed like a good idea. After everyone had allocated themselves to their respective worlds, Lucien continued to sit there as he simply called out, "they're gone now, so you don't have to be so "sneaky."" Out from the shadows popped a familiar scarfed katana wielding man, who had a slightly, yet clearly fake, look of shock on his face as he said, "my my, it appears I've been found out. So, Mr. Bookkeeper, is there any such reason you feel the need to humor my attempts at stealth." Lucien waved Rinox's comment off saying,"because there's no real point to revealing you. All it'd do is make more 'ah I'm going to kill you and everything you love and blah blah blah' type things and, we've got enough of that for now. So just be on your merry way and go bother someone else." "Very well then. Thank you for your consideration." With a short bow, Rinox had opened a dark corridor and stepped through it to parts unknown. As Lucien walked the guy off, he simply went back to reading a book saying, "weird little fucker." After Rinox had stepped out of his dark corridor, he was immediately greeted with a strange sight. There was Xander...and he was following a moose. And it appeared that he was talking with one as well. Well, that was certainly interesting. Perhaps the loss of his little protectee had caused him some sort of physiological problem and speaking to the moose was a coping mechanism. Or the moose could actually talk. In all his years of traveling, Rinox could safely say that both assumption were equally likely. Walking over to the man, he said, "well crimson swordsman, has the creatures of the woods provided you with any sort of lead as to where to find the hero you're searching for?"
