Silly me! I turned them on xD Just a last question, if anyone can help me with this as well. I ripped this film but the subtitles don't appear in the ripped version. Could it have anything to do with the fact that they were turned off on the DVD? Anyway, thanks for the help.
There's no turn off/on option for the subtitles, they are just there. They appear on the DVD player but not in the computer. And yeap, i tried with different programs.
So, here's the problem. I have this DVD that normally shows the subtitles when in the DVD player, but when in the computer, subtitles don't appear and i have no idea why. Could my computer be missing some sort of codec or whatever?
I heard about it earlier on the news. It's interesting, i mean a life form that uses a kind of poison to live it's unique but i don't know, i am somewhat hesitant towards this information. Can we actually believe them? It would be funny though if those bacteria are from some other planet and they suddenly start evolve to take over the entire planet XD
Comparing the artwork from the previous FM's with this..., well yeah it could be better...
I love this version of Dearly Beloved in the site. And awesome presentation as usual. I wouldn't mind getting this soundtrack. Days and BBS have awesome music.
I guess you have a point. Personally i find the destruction of the locket scene somewhat climatic as well as the one with Bathilda (although it didn't work well as in the book) and the ending scene. But yeah,i see what you mean, the real climax will be the final battle.
No offense but i assume you didn't really paid much attention since DH is pretty easy to follow even if you haven't read the books. Funny that you mention the polyjuice potion. In the books they use it a few more times, so in order to not become annoying or tedious for regular audiences, they slightly removed it. But it is used again later :p I can't even reply to this. I don't think so. One of my friends with whom i watched the film haven't read the books and he had no problem following the story. I was only asked about the mirror fragment that just randomly appeared in the film. Besides, HP films are always aimed mainly towards fans/readers of the books. Those are who support the franchise all those years by watching a huge amount of times. As for the reviews, i find it funny that in England DH didn't do so well, judging from a fair amount of reviews i have read, while here in Greece, were usually HP is considered a "Hollywood blockbuster" made for money by critics, it got very good reviews with scores varying from two to 3 and half out of 5 or four stars.
Scarlet Street A 1945 Film Noir. I really like this movie. Toy Story 3 (again :P) What can i say..., i love it.
I worked it out but anyway, thanks for the help. I guess now this can be closed.
Holy...! I can't believe it! RIP =(
Epic Mickey surely brought a lot of attention back to Mickey. IGN had a similar article some time ago.
So, here's the problem. I have to create an archive with compressed films for university but the problem is that i am not sure how to extract the movies out of the dvd's. I tried to copy paste the folders out of them but i usually get some sort of a problem and to be honest i am not sure if this would work anyway. So should i try to rip those movies and then compress them with Winrar? That would work right? Oh, and i have no idea how to rip a movie. Do i need some sort of program?
Spoiler Spoiler I wasn't really sure about it until i watched it. So yeah, it is a very sweet and funny moment. Even Rowling likes this scene ;) I liked this scene, although it was slightly different from the book, but it was just a few details so i don't mind. I wasn't expecting though the kiss to be so passionate! This scene made me cry. Actually it was the first time i cried watching a film. I even missed some of the burial scene (which wasn't as good as i would want it to be) because my eyes were all teary. As for the Tales of The Three Brothers it was really beautiful but i think it would look even better if the colours were a bit darker. As much as i hate them for not showing what truly happened, i realized that the image of a human, Spoiler strangled by his own hand would raise the rating for the audiences and i doubt that this would be something acceptable by Warner for obvious reasons. This^ The way this scene was depicted was quite, well hard i assume is a proper word. I am not saying i did not like it, i can totally see Bellatrix acting like this but i was expecting to see her using curses and most important cruciatus. Anyway, it was fun listening to everyone in the room going "eeeewww" when Bellatrix bit Hermione :p True all of that^ I believe that with half an hour more adding more details, not everything, i do realize this is impossible, that film would have been the better Potter one. What really annoys me in DH is that Kreacher's tale was cut and there wasn't any emotion going on there (not to mention that they didn't show Kreacher hit Mundugus with the frying pan! I wanted to see that so bad!). That scene was really important not only because it is when Kreacher starts to show respect to Hermione, Ron and to his master Harry but we learn more about Regulus and most important this whole respect that is created towards Harry by Kreacher is what leads to the "riot" of the house elves during the final battle and their involvement in it. I mean, it was Kreacher who acted as the leader for the House Elves and brought them to fight! Hmmm..., come to think of it when it comes to House elves nearly everything is cut. How ironic. This ^ is so true! It was the first time i watched a Harry Potter film and didn't have to feel awkward watching certain scenes. I am not saying that the actors are Oscar worthy but they did a brilliant job.
For the time being, there are no wallpapers. Pretty much this^ As for the site itself it looks a bit bad especially when compared to the one for the original BBS. Now, why next to the BBSFM title it says とは? I have no idea what that word means.
I am so used to the Japanese names that it will take me a long time to get used to those. They seem verry weird and i guess they will sound equally weird. For the time being, i find them bad. Tsutarja's name is really uninspired and Pokabu's is just plain weird while Mijumaru's doesn't even make any sense. As i said, i will eventually get used to them but what irks me really bad is that stupid name that they gave to Isshun region! It is the first time there's a name change for a region! What is that!
That is... ...
So i just read the summary for that film: I can already imagine pretty much how this will go but then again it's Phineas & Ferb and i've been proven wrong quite a lot of times. Unfortunately Disney wants to milk the crap out of it. Not sure how to feel about that but the talk show somehow reminds me of those shows with Disney talking to Mickey and Co.
Ryan Reynolds and his perfect body >.> I have to say that it looks a bit cheap... Or is it only me? I hope it goes well but i can't say i am excited just by watching this trailer.
Same here. It's as if they are preparing us for either something huge or for an end. It feels weird watching but it is a beautiful trailer i must say. I'm so gonna watch this when it comes out. I always loved Winnie :p
